    Home - Vancouver / Seattle (121 miles)

    Guests joining the tour in Vancouver should meet the tour guide at the luggage carousel #3 for domestic arrivals and in the arrival lobby by the aboriginal sculpture for internationals. Those who arrive Vancouver YVR airport before 12:00pm will have chance to enjoy a tour of the city that visits Chinatown, Stanley Park and Gastown.

    Guests joining the tour in Seattle should meet the tour guide at 12:00pm at Baggage Claim Belt #14. They will then embark on a complimentary mini-excursion of the city, visiting Pioneer Square and the Space Needle before traveling to Vancouver.

      Pioneer Square

    Vancouver - Merrit - Kamloops - Wells Gray Provincial Park - Valemount (374 miles)

    Leaving from Vancouver we will drive through the valley of Fraser to Merritt. After lunch, we will visit the famous Ginseng Factory. Then continue our trip to Wells Gray Provincial Park and we will spend the night in Valemount, BC.

      The Sunmore Ginseng Factory and Spa in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada is the only ginseng manufacturer in North America and was founded in 1991 by Chinese doctor Zhang Shunmei. Visitors can enjoy the relaxing ginseng spa.

    Valemount - Mt Robson - Pyramid Lake - Jasper - Maligne Canyon - Maligne Lake - Hinton (60 miles)

    Today we will visit pass Mount Robson and enter the Japser National Park. We will visit Patricia Lake, Pyramid Lake, Maligne Canyon and Maligne Lake. You can take the Maligne Lake Cruise. We will spend the night in Hinton.

      It is the nearest community to the west of Jasper National Park, and is also the nearest community to Mount Robson Provincial Park. This is a planned new ski and sightseeing resort.

      Maligne Canyon

      Maligne Canyon is a natural feature located in the Jasper National Park near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres (160 ft) deep. Popular for sightseeing and exploration, the area contains waterfalls, stream outlets, birds and plant life.

      Maligne Lake

      This amazing lake and the scenery surrounding it is one of the most-photographed areas in the world. It is beloved for its crystalline waters, the surrounding mountains, and Spirit Island. The area is home to many animals, including caribou.

      Patricia Lake

      Patricia Lake is a lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada, near the town of Jasper. It was named for Princess Patricia of Connaught, a granddaughter of Queen Victoria.It is connected by Pyramid Lake road and hiking trails to the town of Jasper, as well as other tourist sites such as Pyramid Lake and Pyramid Mountain.

    Banff - Jasper National Park (128 miles)

    Today, we will pass by Bow Lake and proceed to the Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, where we will ride on the specially designed Ice Explorer along the surface of the Athabasca Glacier, followed by the Glacier Skywalk, a glass-floored observation platform more than 900 feet above the surrounding landscape. Overnight in Banff.

      Columbia Icefield

      The Columbia Icefield in the northern part of Banff National Park covers an area of about 200 square miles in the Canadian Rockies. The Icefield feeds eight major glaciers in the area, including Athabasca Glacier and Dome Glacier.

      Bow Falls

      The Bow Falls are a 30-foot-high, 100-foot wide waterfall just outside the city of Banff. The falls are popular with tourists because they are just a short walk from the town and can be reached on foot from most hotels.

      Crowfoot Glacier

      Crowfoot Glacier is located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, 32 km (20 mi) northwest of Lake Louise, and can be viewed from the Icefields Parkway. The glacier is situated on the northeastern flank of Crowfoot Mountain.

      Visitors to the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre in Jasper National Park are treated to something new for 2014-- the Glacier Skywalk. Modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk, this horseshoe-shaped bridge lets guests walk out over the cliffside glacier.

    Banff - Banff National Park - Revelstoke (130 miles)

    In the morning we will see the Bow Falls just outside the city. We will then enter Banff National Park, where guests will see Lake Louise. After lunch, we will take the Lake Louise Gondola to enjoy the fantastic view.

    Revelstoke - Kamloops - Merritt - Vancouver (305 miles)

    Today we will head from Revelstoke back to Vancouver, BC. On our way, we will stop in Kamloops, BC and visit the VQA Winery. After a quick stop for lunch in the town of Meritt, BC, we will continue back to Vancouver. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

    • Airport Pickup: Free transfer from the Vancouver airport is available from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Those arriving in Seattle will have to pay a transportation fee. Your tour escort will be holding a sign with your name.
      • For those who will join the tour in Vancouver: Domestic arrivals should meet at the number 3 luggage carousel, and international arrivals in the arrival lobby (Aboriginal sculpture).
      • For those who will join the tour in Seattle: Please meet the tour guide at 12:00pm at luggage carousel number 14 or 1:00pm at the Ticket Office of Seattle Space Needle.
    • Airport Dropoff: Guests will be dropped off at the Vancouver airport free of charge. Please arrange flight out of Vancouver after 09:30pm.

      Confirmation

    • Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 72 hours of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status. Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the status of your booking.

      Redemption

    • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your confirmation email. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us.

    Cancellation penalties per person as follows:(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • 31 days or more before departure - $50/per person penalty will be charged.
    • 21 - 30 days before departure - 50% of total purchase amount
    • 8 - 20 days before of departure - 75% of total purchase amount
    • 0 - 7 days before of departure - 100% of total purchase amount
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
