    • Vienna, AUSTRIA

Vienna is the capital city of Austria. It is considered one of the best places to live in the world. Called "The City of Music", Vienna has produced internationally famous composers such as Beethoven, Brahms, Mahler, Mozart and more.

      Austrian Mint

The Austrian Mint is owned and operated by the National Bank of Austria. In the headquarters here, they produce fine, collectible coin sets for enthusiasts. It produces the country's Euro coins.

      Hundertwasserhaus

This terraced apartment complex was the vision of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, an artist from Vienna. It is built in an expressionistic architectural style, and the roof is covered by gardens and trees, some of which grow inside the rooms.

      Hohe Warte Artists' Colony

Designed by the famous Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann at the very beginning of the 20th century, this building in the Vienna suburb of Hohe Warte has provided a haven for artists to practice their work for many years.

      Vienna International Center

This large, multi-building complex is Vienna's headquarters for the United Nations. It is home to some of the UN's most important organizations. On campus, there are also restaurants and stores. There are 5,000 employees at this location.

      Donauinsul

This long, narrow island lies in the Danube River as it passes through Vienna. While it is 13 miles long, it is at most only 210 meters wide. There are a few beaches, nightclubs, and numerous sporting opportunities.

      Copa Cagrana

This beach on Danube Island in Vienna was named after Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro because it feels so exotic. Kagran is the city district adjacent to the beach. It is one of many fine beaches on the narrow island.

      Donauturm

This observation tower is the tallest structure in the country of Austria at 252 meters high. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city because it provides a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding area.
