Day 1: Washington DC

Today we will gather in Washington, DC. Guests should meet the tour guide at 1:00pm at the National Air and Space Museum. We will spend the rest of the day touring the city. Highlights of the tour include an optional Potomac River Cruise and visits to all of the major monuments, such as the Lincoln Memorial and Korean War Memorial.

Day 2: Washington DC - Corning - Niagara Falls(428 miles)

Driving through the hilly countrysides of Pennsylvania and New York state, we will enjoy the rural scenery as we head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. Later, we will arrive at Niagara Falls to take a Niagara Falls Night Tour.

Today, we will leave New York and head for Boston, enjoying the scenery on the way. In the afternoon, we will visit the campuses of Harvard University and MIT, two of the world's premier higher learning institutions. Then, we will take a sightseeing tour of Boston, visiting places like Trinity Cathedral, the Hancock Building, the Boston Athenaeum, Boston Common, the Public Gardens, and the Massachusetts State House. For dinner, we will enjoy a fresh Boston lobster meal.

In the morning, we will go on a relaxing Boston Harbor cruise to see the city from the water. Then, we will stop by Quincy Market to get something to eat for lunch (be sure to try some New England clam chowder!). Afterwards, we will take a bus ride to New York City, where we will stop on Fifth Avenue to do some shopping, including a visit to the Bloomingdale's flagship location.

Day 5: New York Times Square Countdown

In the morning, we will visit the Central Park of New York and the 5th Ave. We will pass by Trump Tower, Apple Flagship store, and more. (There would be no space for storage shopping bags so please do not purchase any goods on that day.) Then, we will head to Times Square to see New Year's Eve Countdown. Cheer with the entire world as the ball drops!

You will have 3 options for the countdown:

1. You may walk to Times Square and watch performances before the countdown. At the same time, the countdown zone will be closed for pedestrians only; you may experience the world-famous New Year street celebrations to witness the historic moment. (Free of charge)

2.Buy an Applebee Party Pass! ($375 for adults, $250 for kids)

3. New York Sightseeing Countdown Dinner Cruise. ($411/person, including transfer service to the pier)

    Our first stop of the day will be the Empire State Building to overlook New York City. Then, we will take a Statue of Liberty Cruise to get up close to Lady Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. After that, we will visit the USS Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. In the Financial District, we will visit Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, the Charging Bull, and Trinity Church. Later on, we will see Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Headquarters, Ground Zero, and One World Trade Center. If time allows, will additionally visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Then, we will return to Washington, DC, where guests will be dropped off to bring an end to this tour.     • Booking changes
      A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
    • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
      Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office.     • Itinerary Variations
      We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
      In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.
      Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
    • Tour Cancellation:
      We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
    • The opening hours and capacity limit of attractions and national parks will be subject to change from time to time due to COVID-19. When the operating hours and capacity restriction have an impact on the itinerary, it shall be regarded as force majeure. Thank you for your understanding.

    • City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.
