Day 1

Washington DC

As guests arrive at the airport in Washington, D.C., they will meet the tour guide at the baggage claim area. For international arrivals, the guide will wait just outside of the customs exit. There will be free hotel transfer available for those arriving between 9:00am and 10:00pm. Additionally, there is an optional night tour of the city available for those arriving before 5:00pm.

Washington DC

Depart from the hotel in the early morning; we will first visit the US Capitol. Our professional tour guide will bring you inside and have a look around the interior of the Capitol building (if the Capitol is closed, we will see the exterior of the Capitol building instead). We will visit Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and we will also see the outside of White House. Then we will take the D.C. Cruise (closed in winter) along Potomac River to see many of the areas' most historic landmarks and memorials in a unique way. In the afternoon, you will be able to visit the Smithsonian Institution freely(no tour guide).In the evening, guests need to gather in front of Air and Space Museum and then will be taken to have dinner. We will also pass by The World War II Memorial, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and etc.

Driving through the hilly countrysides of Pennsylvania and New York state, we will enjoy the rural scenery as we head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue on to Niagara Falls, NY where we will see the IMAX Adventure Movie. In summer, we can then choose to take the Maid of Mist. In the evening we will also take the Niagara Falls Night Tour.

Corning is a city in Steuben County, New York, United States, on the Chemung River. The population was 11,183 at the 2010 census. It is named for Erastus Corning, an Albany financier and railroad executive who was an investor in the company that developed the community.

Corning Museum of Glass

Once on the Canadian side, you will also watch a dramatic 45-minute IMAX film, and will ascend the Skylon Tower to view the Falls from above. The tour will then depart for Toronto, ON. There we will visit the Toronto City Hall and CN Tower. Next, Mariposa Toronto Harbour Cruise offers gorgeous views of the city and vicinity from the waters. We will have dinner in Chinatown. (Starting from 1/1/2020, we will have Montreal double-decker bus tour instead of visit Olympic park, stadium and tower.) Next we will leave for Quebec, enjoy a Maple Syrup Theme Meal. In the afternoon, we will head to Montmorency Falls. Afterwards we will arrive in Quebec, visit the Notre-Dame de Quebec Basilica-Cathedral. You will also have chance to take pictures with the world's most photographed hotel Château Frontenac and enjoy an authentic French Dinner. At night, we will tour around the fortification of Quebec City, Parliament Building. After the night tour we will head back to the hotel.

In the morning, we will depart from the hotel and head to the US custom. After a short stay at duty-free stores and a longer stay at the border, we will head to Boston. The first stop will be the Harvard University at Cambridge, MA. Here, guests will be guided by Harvard students to visit its oldest campus district and take pictures with the Statue of Three Lies - Harvard Statue. Also, we will also pass by the MIT.

Today we will spend the day touring New York City, making stops at the One World Observatory. Guests will take a sightseeing cruise tour on the Hudson River, take pictures with the backdrops of Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. Furthermore, visit USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum. In addition, wandering around Wall Street, taking pictures with Trinity Church, New York Stock Exchange and its signature sculpture Charging Bull. If time permits, we will visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. In the end of the day, our tour bus will pass by the Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Ground Zero. Airport greet and meet: Your tour escort will be wearing a yellow uniform and holding a sign with your name. Domestic arrivals, your tour escort will wait at the baggage claim area/outside of the arrival's (restricted) area. International arrivals, your tour escort will wait just outside of customs exit.
- Free IAD airport pick-up: 9:00AM-10:00PM. You may need to wait for other passengers in the airport. Service fee for free transfer $10/person;
- Guests who arrive at DCA/BWI can choose paid pick-up service or go to the hotel by themselves. Paid 24-hour airport transport service: For IAD/DCA passengers, $120 per first two persons with $10 for each additional person. At the end of journey, we will provide the bus driving you back to Washington D.C. (715 H Street At 7th St NW Washington DC 20001). There is no tour guide on the bus, and please confirm the final drop-off address with your guide in advance.

A mandatory service fees: Minimum $10 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $10 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $40.

Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction. Passengers who take this tour need to purchase admission tickets from tour escort upon arrival.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days(Notification day and departure day are not counted)
Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

What is the "Buy 2 Get 3rd Free" promotion?
We currently offer Buy 2 get 3rd Free promotion and the rate in the shopping cart has been adjusted automatically to reflect this discount. If you have 3 people sharing one room, when booking online, you need to enter 3 people so you will get three seats and one room. There's no difference for adult rate and child rate. If you have 4 people sharing one room, you will need to enter 4 people, so you will get 3rd one for free. Again, the price will be automatically adjusted.
How to select and pay the optional admission fee?
Optional activities admission fee is not included in the tour price, but the tour guide will arrange activities for passengers during the tour. If passengers are interested in activities,they can pay cash directly to the tour guide on the tour.
How can I make pre/post tour hotel reservations?
When booking the tour online, under "Price a Trip, Book now", you will find an option - "Do you need to extend hotel stay?" By clicking on "Yes" you can enter the date you need for extended hotel and decide the hotel option.
Where will we have meals in this tour?
Meals are not included in the tour price but the tour guide will arrange meal stops. Normally the tour stops at shopping plaza or food court where passengers can see a few options and decide their own meals. For breakfast, if the hotel has complimentary service, the tour guide will inform passengers upon check-in.
Is there any vegetarian or Indian food options provided in this tour?
The places where we make stops for meals have different variety of food selections including vegetarian options. At Niagara Falls there are several Indian restaurants, where passengers can choose from.
Where are the pick-up locations of tours?
Departure information, including time and location, is listed in the “Departure And Return Details” section of the tour itinerary. There is a link to a map online as well. Also, e-Ticket will include full pick-up time and location information. Once the booking is done online, you will receive eTicket in your email.
Can I decide or change my seats on the bus?
To be fair to everyone, the tour rotates seats everyday.
How can I provide my feedback or any other suggestions for this company?
We appreciate our customers feedback. Once you complete the tour, TakeTours will send you an email regarding your travel experience. By submitting a review or photo taken during the trip, you will be able to earn 100 points. How do I redeem my loyalty points? Simply log in to your TakeTours account and select the product you wish to buy. Add the product to your shopping cart to see how many points are needed to purchase it. If you have enough points to purchase the product, select "yes" to pay by points.
Where can I park my car?
There's a parking within walking distance from the Manhattan pick-up location. The parking address is 38 Bowery St,New York, NY 10013. The parking fee is $45 for overnight parking. There's no parking service in Edison (Kam Man Food Inc) and Parsippany (Top Quality Food Market)in NJ. The stores do not allow parking. There's some free street parking space nearby. But the space availability is not guaranteed.
What are the tour available dates?
All the tour available dates are listed online under "Departure Date" drop-down menu. As long as you can select the date online and complete the booking, that means that date is available. You can also refer to the calendar. All the available dates are shown in blue color. The tour gets sold out fast so we encourage to book the tour in advance.
Can I pay this tour by cash?
Taketours/Gotobus is a complete online travel company and uses a completely secure and automated booking system, therefore we can only accept bookings made online, using an authorized and valid credit card/debit card (visa,mastercard and amex)and paypal, check (by fax or mail) and money order (by mail).
How do I recognize the bus and the tour guide at the location?
For local tours, please arrive at the pick-up location stated on your eTicket 20 minutes in advance. The tour bus will have the name of the trip placed on the bus front window.

Do I need to pick up a physical ticket?
No. You do not. E-Ticket will be automatically emailed to you after you complete your booking online. All you need to do is to bring a valid picture ID along with a printout of eTicket you receive to board the scheduled bus.
