    Itinerary

    This sightseeing tour of Washington, DC is a perfect way to see the city and learn more about the history of its monuments. A licensed tour guide hops off with guests at each attraction and provides them with detailed information about each place. The tour include a one-hour private yacht Potomac River cruise (from March 15th to October 31st). During the rest of the year, we will visit the Pentagon City Mall for lunch and shopping. During the tour we will see the US Capitol Building, the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the FDR Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the Iwo Jima Memorial, and the White House. Along the way, we will pass by many more famous locations.

      The capital of the United States of America sits on the scenic Potomac River. Monuments, museums, and Americana characterize this historic city, which is located in the District of Columbia between the states of Maryland and Virginia.

      Jefferson Memorial

      The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a memorial to the third president of the United States. The impressive building is neoclassical in design and has been standing since 1943. It sees more than two million visitors every year. It's only available during the Cherry Blossom time.

      Korean War Veterans Memorial

      This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

      Lincoln Memorial

      This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the slaves in the US.

      Marine Corps Iwo Jima Memorial

      Also known as the Iwo Jima Memorial, this iconic pavillion was dedicated by Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1954 in remembrance of members of the US Marine Corps who died in battle since the United States' founding in 1775.

      Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

      The memorial to the great Martin Luther King, Jr. on the southwest side of the National Mall was opened in 2011. It depicts Dr. King standing as a "stone of hope" carved from a "mountain of despair."

      Washington Monument

      This iconic obelisk is a memorial to the commander-in-chief of the American revolutionary army and eventual the first president of the United States of America, George Washington. The massive stone structure began construction in 1848.

      White House

      The world-famous White House in Washington, DC is the official residence of the president of the United States and the place where most of the work is done. The facade of this neoclassical mansion is a global icon.

      World War II Memorial

      One of Washington, DC's many monuments and memorials, the WWII Memorial pays homage to those who served in the US military during that conflict. It was opened in 2002.
