Day 1: Whitehorse

Today, you will fly into Whitehorse, the northernmost city on the west coast of Canada to experience the beauty of the northern lights!

Guests with an earlier flight will start a city tour: On the city tour guests will visit the steamship "Klondike." Guests will also take a look at the steamship of the Klondike gold rush, tour the Yukon Valley, visit the visitor center (closed on winter weekends), visit the symbol of the White Horse - the White Horse Iron plastic, log church and log skyscraper. The fur products, gold jewelry, mammoth ivory products, etc. here are very special. Make sure to grab a souvenir as you see these special things along the way. (Guests who arrive late will meet at the hotel lobby at about 10:00am the next morning and take part in the city tour).

Around 10:00pm in the evening (please keep in mind that the departure time may be adjusted according to different seasons, subject to the time notified by the tour guide), we will take a car to the camp log cabin to watch the aurora. Guests may enjoy complimentary hot drinks and snacks in the heated camp log cabin and wait for the aurora advent. In the early morning, we will return to the hotel to rest.

    Aurora Viewing

    Guests can warm up in the log cabin camp, enjoy free hot drinks and snacks, and wait for the mysterious and beautiful Northern Lights to come.

Day 2: Whitehorse

Today you will have a full day of free time to explore Whitehorse City or participate in various exciting activities at your own expense.

We will depart from the hotel at about 10pm to the camp log cabin to watch the aurora. The following day we will return to the hotel in the early morning to rest.

Day 4: Whitehorse-Vancouver (1477 km)

Today, you will end the aurora viewing tour in Whitehorse and arrive at Vancouver by plane (Please pay for the flight ticket from Whitehorse to Vancouver at your own expense).

Day 5: Vancouver-Kelowna-Okanagan-Revelstoke (556 km)

In the morning, we will pass through the town of Merritt and head to visit the famous local "VQA" rare wine winery. Shortly after, we will head to Kelowna: the hometown of fruits in BC and take a visit to the Okanagan Lake. Finally, we will overnight at Revelstoke or Salmon Arm.

Day 6: Revelstoke - Yoho National Park - Banff National Park - Banff (379 km)

Today, we will visit the famous "Last Spike" in the Pacific Railroad Memorial Park. Drive through the Yoho National Park and then come to the Vermillion Lake. It's a good place for photographers all over the world to take pictures here. Then we will go to visit the Bow Falls. Afterwards, we will continue to the Banff National Park and take the Banff Gondola at own expense to arrive at the summit of Sulfur Mountain. You'll get a ticket of Banff Upper Hot Spring as a gift. Later on, we will go to Banff Town, the European style town of Rocky Mountain and also a commercial area within the National Park, where there are restaurants, hotels, shopping and entertainment.

    The outpost of Craigellachie is a tourist stop in the Eagle Pass, which allows the Canadian Pacific Railway to pass through the Monashee Mountains. This was the location in which the "Last Spike" of the railway was placed.

    Bow Falls

    The Bow Falls are a 30-foot-high, 100-foot wide waterfall just outside the city of Banff. The falls are popular with tourists because they are just a short walk from the town and can be reached on foot from most hotels.

    Sulfur Mountain Gondola Ride

    This unique cable-car ride takes visitors to Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a UNESCO World Hertitage Site. Atop the mountain there are many viewing areas, a long boardwalk, and two small museums.

    Banff Upper Hot Springs

    These outdoor hot springs provide breathtaking views of the surrounding Banff National Park, especially Mount Rundle. The water flow to the springs stops for several months during the winter.

    1.Outdoor natural hot springs: There is large temperature difference in the winter so please keep warm after the hot spring. 2.The recommend soaking time should not exceed 20 minutes. 3.Locker (CAD2.00) available. 4.Swimwear and towel rental services provided. 5.Banff Upper Hot Springs admission is included. After breakfast, we will head to visit the famous Johnston Canyon. Then we will come to the Lake Louise to enjoy the well-known lake in the Rocky Mountain National Park. After that, we'll Pass by Yoho National Park and Glacier National Park to Revelstoke / Salmon Arm for night.

Day 8: Revelstoke-Kamloops-Vancouver (508 km)

Today, we will depart from Revelstoke in the morning and proceed to the Kamloops which is the hometown of Ginseng. Finally, we will drive back to Vancouver.

  • Whitehorse Airport Pickup: Free transfer between the Whitehorse Airport (YXY) and hotels are available at anytime on first day (Need to pay the service fee $5 per person to the driver). Your tour escort will be holding a sign with your name.
  • Whitehorse to Vancouver (air fare not included) :
    • Whitehorse Airport (YXY) offers a free 24-hour drop-off service.
    • Vancouver International Airport (YVR), please take the free shuttle bus between the airport to the hotel (about 30 minutes). Courtesy shuttle pick-up and drop-off areas are located outside of Departures Level 3 International Terminal near the transborder check in area and outside the Departures Level 3 Domestic Terminal. Request a hotel shuttle bus with the direct dial phones located on Departures Level 3 of both the International and Domestic Terminals.
  • Return Flight Arrangement: Please arrange your flight to depart from Vancouver airport after 9:30pm (domestic flight) or 10:30pm (international flight).

  • Changes to Reservations: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    18-32 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 17 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Additional hotel bookings before or after the tour as well as other services are subject to hotel cancellation policy to determine if a refund is possible.
    No cancel and No change is allowed for any tour involved in train or cruise, OR 100% of total purchase amount will be charged.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
