Today, we will make the "pilgrimage" south from Boston to historic Plymouth, where we will explore some of the many historic sites along the waterfront and downtown. Docked right next to Plymouth Rock is the Mayflower II, a full-scale replica of the ship that the Pilgrims originally crossed the Atlantic on. Then, we will climb Cole's Hill to visit the Plymouth National Wax Museum, where 180 life-size figures tell the Pilgrims' story. From atop the hill, we can also take in a breathtaking view of Plymouth Harbor and Gurnet Light. On the waterfront, we can take either the Splashdown Duck, a one hour land a see tour, or the Pilgrim Belle, a 75 minute paddlewheel cruise. No admission prices are included with this tour. At the end of the day, we will return to Boston to wrap up the tour.
