Day 1

Tour begins with an introduction to Dublin City, as we head south towards County Wicklow, which is more commonly known as the "Garden of Ireland". Beautiful lakes, dense forests' and wonderful views make this a wonderful scenic drive and a fine day away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin city.
Our tour also brings you to scenery made famous from films such as Braveheart and P.S. I Love You. While also bringing you over and along the Wicklow Mountains to Glendalough Lake & Valley. This tour also includes stops at Glencree Valley & Cemetery, the PS I Love you Bridge, the Guinness Lake (Lough Tay), Sally's Gap and of course, the spectacular Glendalough Lake, home to St. Kevin's Monastery, Celtic Crosses and much more! Stop five, and the final stop on your tour of Wicklow, is Avoca Village, a small town made famous by Thomas Moore in the song "The Meeting of the Water" it too is well- known for its spot as the fictional home of BBC's hit tv-show "Ballykissangel".

Wicklow, IRELAND

Wicklow is a county town in Ireland. Located south of Dublin on the east coast of the island, it has a population of 10,584 according to the 2016 census.

Glencree Valley

Located in eastern Ireland, the Glencree Valley offers beautiful views of the Wicklow Mountains. Formerly a 19th century British Army barracks, Glencree is now a tranquil setting for backpackers, cyclists and visitors to get back to nature.

Sally Gap

The Sally Gap is a mountain pass along the R759 road in the Wicklow Mountains that lie to the south of Dublin. When in the Gap, visitors will be treated to simply exceptional views.

Glendalough

Glendalough refers to both a valley in Ireland and its most popular tourist attraction, the remains of a monastery first built in the 6th century AD by Saint Kevin. The complex at one time contained many more buildings than remain.

The Mill at Avoca Village

According to their web site, "Avoca is an Irish family-run business that spans one of the world's oldest surviving manufacturing companies and Ireland's most exciting stores. [...] There are Avoca perfumes, glassware, ceramics... we even run a world-class garden."

Lough Tay

Lough Tay, also known as Guinness Lake, is situated on part of the Guinness family estate along the northern coastline of Ireland. Some visitors believe the dark lake water contrasted by white sandy beach resembles a pint of Guinness beer.
