Day 1: Fes - Midelt - Todra-Gorges (284 km)

After breakfast we will leave from Fez to Todra Gorges, passing through Ifrane to arrive at the cedar forests where we may see wild monkeys. Then we will continue the way through the Middle Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes. After that, we will arrive at the small town of Midelt where we will have lunch. From here we will turn right to pass through the famous town of Imilchil before arriving at Todra Gorges in evening.

Day 2: Todra Gorges - Tinghir - Merzouga (201 km)

Today we will start from Todra Gorges to Merzouga. We will pass through Berber villages and then drive along the way to Merzouga, we will spend the night in a hotel near the desert.

Day 3: Merzouga - Erg Chebbi

After breakfast and shower in hotel, we will go on an off-road desert tour around the Erg Chebbi desert. We will visit the Village of Khamlia and listen to some Gnawa music. We will visit some desert mines, Berber nomads, and an oasis of palm trees. Then we will go back to Merzouga for a lunch. After lunch and relaxing, we will continue to ride a camel who takes us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara and take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise.

Day 4: Merzouga - Fez (342 km)

Today we will wake up early to watch the sunrise. Then we will ride the camels back to Merzouga to have a breakfast and shower before returning back to Fez. We will drive through the middle Atlas Mountains and arrive at Fez in evening.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure, any kind of modification of reservation need notice to TakeTours by email.
  • CANCELLATION OR CHANGE POLICY
    All cancellations or changes of date must comply with the following details:
    (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    You can get total refund if cancel or change before 46 days of departure date (not including departure date).
    25% of total fee will be charged if cancel or change within 30 to 45 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    50% of total fee will be charged if cancel or change within 15 to 30 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    Absolutely NO refund on all cancellations or postponements within 15 days prior to departure (not including departure date).
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • TRAVEL INSURANCE
    Tour operator is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal items, or personal injury that may occur on or during the tour.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
