- firstly this tour was organised by West coast holidays managed by Chinese management.
- hotels they provided are not good and there is no breakfast provided.
- out of 7 days tour only 3 days tour was good and enjoyable other 4 days is fully travelling and can be planned better.
- frankly speaking these agents are particular about time.
- for me it was not worth for money (per person there will be additional 300-400$ expenses will happen, excluding food)
To start with, to be honest, I was a bit skeptical about this trip as I thought it will be too much hectic and tiring. However, the trip was planned awesomely with ample resting time and sufficient breaks between stops.
The tour guides were good, special mention to Seven who took care of us for the 3 days in SFO...
I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends..
Before going on the trip, I had read some feedback which had left me wondering if I had made a good choice booking a tour company which specializes more for Chinese tourist. The accommodations were generally good for the price, the itinerary was good too but needs some rethinking. If you spend 5 hours either way to travel to the Grand Canyon, you surely need to spend more than the 20 minutes after getting through the long ques to use the rest room. The food stops were well balanced and so was the seating etc. Regarding the tour guides- it is your luck. For me, the best one was Peter for the San Francisco leg, followed by Andy in Los Angeles, who tried his best, while the worst were Harry and his help in the Las Vegas and Grand Canyon areas who hardly spoke or had much idea about the places we were visiting, but charged the full guide fee for an infant aged 16 months. Overall, am very satisfied and happy to recommend to my friends. The drive was also fairly smooth and safe thanks to the drivers who were very good generally.
