After guests have been picked up from their hotels in Melbourne in the morning, we will begin this tour. Driving through the city's eastern suburbs, we will eventually reach the Dandenong Ranges National Park where we will explore the verdant forest, meeting local animals like crimson rosellas and king parrots and enjoy an old fashioned Aussie-style Bush Billy tea. Then, we will ride through the forest on the Puffing Billy Steam Train. Along the way, we will visit Sassafras, known for their local crafts and antiques. As we approach Melbourne, we will glimpse the city's majestic skyline. When we return, guests will be dropped off to bring an end to this tour.     Dandenong Ranges

    This range of low-rising mountains is located to the east of Melbourne. The foothills are covered with dense patches of forest and receives light snowfall during the colder months of the year.

    Puffing Billy Steam Railway

    This steam train has been in operation for over a century, cutting through miles of beautiful Australian countryside. It was designed to help ease access to implement a cost-effective transportation system to reach the country's more remote areas.
  • Tour departs at 8:10am and returns 1:00pm approx.
  • Complimentary hotel pick-up service is available from most hotels in Melbourne area, please enter your hotel name and address in the 'Pickup Hotel Info' field. Click here to check available pickup service.
  • Passengers will be picked-up from their hotel approximately 7:30am, depending on the hotel location. Exact pick-up time will be provided upon reconfirmation 24 hours prior to tour.
