Day 1

In the morning, guests will be picked up from the specified departure location in Montreal. Then, we will drive to Ottawa, where we will visit Parliament Hill and the Peace Tower upon arrival. After that, we will take an Ottawa River Cruise. After lunch, guests will be able either to go to Jacques Cartier Park, host to a variety of activities (especially for children ages 3 to 12) or to the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, QC. In the early evening, we will return to Montreal, where we can see the opening ceremony of the Montreal International Fireworks Competition. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Ottawa, ON

Located on the Ottawa River in eastern Ontario, Canada's capital city is also its center of technology and politics. This historic city features many museums, art galleries, and performance centers as well as other attractions like the Rideau Canal.

Parliament Hill

Parliament Hill, located on the banks of the Ottawa River Canada's capital city, is home to the Canadian Parliament. The gorgeous location and dramatic architecture make this a huge tourist location-- more than 3 million people come every year.

Peace Tower

The Peace Tower is a large clock tower in Ottawa, Ontario that sits at the center of Parliament Hill. This iconic Canadian building appears on both the fifty- and twenty-dollar Canadian bills. It is more than 300 feet tall.

Ottawa River Boat Cruise

The Ottawa River forms the border between Quebec and Ottawa, and on this cruise, you will sail down the water in leisure, observing the Victorian buildings that line the shores, as well as the expansive Canadian forest.

Gatineau, QC

Gatineau is a city in western Quebec, Canada. It is the fourth-largest city in the province after Montreal, Quebec City, and Laval. It is located on the northern bank of the Ottawa River, immediately across from Ottawa, together with which it forms Canada's National Capital Region.

Jacques Cartier Park

This provincial park is located about 31 miles north of Quebec City in Canada. It is graced with a vibrant ecosystem that is abundant with wildlife. It is named after a famous French explorer.

Canadian Museum of History

The Canadian Museum of History is one of North America's oldest heritage and cultural preservation sites. It explores 20,000 years of human history and Canadian culture and is visited by more than 1.2 million people every year.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

We reserve the right to alter the tour price in accordance with changes in foreign exchanges rates and changes in prices for services. The rate that you pay when you reserve your tour will protect you against future currency fluctuations; on the other hand, no price adjust (refund) will be made based upon change in tour prices.

While we will make every effort to maintain a regular operation, we reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and issue a full refund to affected customers under special circumstances.
