Day 1: Rome

Upon airport arrival, we will transfer to hotel. At the end of the evening we will transfer to Trastevere area. This neighborhood will be a great introduction to Rome, a stroll in the narrow cobbled streets of the Trastevere district reveals hidden treasures to us, such as some modest medieval churches, small shops with the most peculiar of objects or scenes of daily life.  Many trattorias (informal Italian eating establishments) and osterias (inns) imbued with the Italian spirit will be ready to serve you local dishes. Other restaurants serving Indian, Chinese and international food can be found in this area. Return to hotel.

Day 2: Rome (7 km)

In the morning, we will have a scenic tour of Rome. We will enter the tiny state of the Vatican, visit St. Peter's Basilica, Roman Colosseum. In the evening we will transfer to the Trastevere area for a stroll in the narrow cobbled streets of the district with hidden treasures, such as some modest medieval churches, small shops with the most peculiar of objects or scenes of daily life. Many trattorias (informal Italian eating establishments) and osterias (inns) imbued with the Italian spirit will be ready to serve you local dishes. Day 3: Rome - Florence (230 km)

We will leave Rome for Florence. This route is graced with beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in Florence, we will head straight to Piazzale Michelangelo. In the evening we will have a tour with a local expert, and walk through the historic centre, taking in places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. Free time to explore. In the evening, you can dine at your favorite restaurant. In this district you can find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and international food.

    The Piazza della Signoria features many can't-miss Florentine buildings. The Palazzo Vecchio, Florence's massive fortress of a town hall, towers above. The Loggia dei Lanzi is a beautiful piece of Renaissance architecture, bedecked with bronze and marble sculptures.

    In this opportunity, you will have the chance to make a magnificent dinner in a Tuscan atmosphere. A group of musicians will set this beautiful evening. We can taste the typical products of the region. During dinner we can also enjoy live music, a pianist singer from Fiorentino will perform national and international pieces of music.

Day 4: Florence - Venice (203 km)

Today we enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains. We will arrive in Venice and take the boat and cross the Giudecca to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, we will visit the St. Mark's Square and enter the Basilica.Afterwards, we will visit the Murano glass factory. At the end of the afternoon, we will have the chance to enjoy own free time or eat dinner in the Mestre district, where you can choose the type of restaurant that you prefer (Indian, Oriental, Italian, etc.).

Day 5: Venice-Innsbruck-Zurich (430 km)

We will depart from Venice, travelling to Austria. Arrival to INNSBRUCK, time to stroll in the historic centre and have lunch. Then, we will continue our journey through wonderful Tyrolean sceneries crossing towards Switzerland. Arrival in ZURICH. Free time in the historic centre next to the lake, where you will be able to dine in your chosen restaurant serving Italian, Indian, Chinese, international or Swiss food.

Day 6: Zurich - Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich (183 km)

Today we will see beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes in the region of Interlaken. We will stop in Grinderwald where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up to mountain. We will walk along the winding path which will lead us to the "footbridge over the empty". Dare to walk along the bridge amongst the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers all around us. We will have a lunch up the mountain before heading back down. We will then continue to Lucerne. In the evening we will have time to stroll around, enjoying the city and taking dinner before we return to the hotel in Zurich

Day 8: Paris-Versailles-Paris (34 km)

We come into contact with the history of France in the immense Palace of Versailles (admission not included) with its beautiful gardens. After that, on our way back to Paris, we head to Montmartre, and take a cable car (included) to go up to this bohemian neighborhood known for its painters, artists and cabarets. To contemplate the beauty of the impressive avenues and monuments of Paris, you will have the city tour with a local guide. Return to the hotel. Optionally you can attend the variety show.​

We go to the centre of Paris, starting by the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). Then, we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.
At around 17.00 hrs we will leave Paris for ROUEN a city museum with its houses with half-timbered walls, narrow streets and gothic churches. Accommodation in the city.

Today we will take a stroll in the centre of Rouen to admire its magnificent cathedral and the ancient streets of the historic centre. After this we travel to the north of France. Travelling by ferry, we will cross the English Channel to reach Canterbury, the religious capital of England with a very attractive historic centre. Continuing to London, arriving with time to explore, visit Tower Bridge to see it lit up and admire the modern buildings. Time for dinner in one of the many restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. After dinner, return to the hotel.

Free afternoon. In the evening, we will meet at a a meeting point in Piccadilly to walk to Leicester Square, China Town and Soho with its amazing atmosphere, its theatres and bustle . Time for dinner in this area with numerous ethnic restaurants (Indian, Thai, Chinese, international, and so on) . Return to the hotel from Picadilly.

Day 12: London-Camden (5 km)

After breakfast we will go to the British Museum, one of the oldest museums in the world. At lunch time we transfer to Camden, a district famous for having one of the most varied and extravagant street markets in London where we can see relics from cultures all around the world. Enjoy some leisure time. At around 16.00 we will leave for Colchester, known as the most ancient city in England. Time for a stroll. We will then board the ferry in Harwich, taking a night voyage to the Netherlands.

Day 13: Volendam-Amsterdam (18 km)

At around 08:00 in the morning we will reach the Netherlands (Hoek Van Holland), making a stop in Volendam, a very picturesque fishing village. After this, we travel to Amsterdam where we will enjoy a panoramic visit of the city to see its narrow canals, its official buildings and parks. We will also see the technique of diamond cutting. Time for dinner in Rembrandtplein, an area with many restaurants from all corners of the world and near the red-light district with its liberal values.

Day 14: Amsterdam-Hamelin-Berlin (584 km)

We will leave Amsterdam for Germany. Hamelin, a picturesque German town whose streets and shops bring us into legend of The Pied Piper of Hamelin, a children´s story written by The Grimm Brothers. We will then continue and stop in Marienborn, situated on the former border that separated east and west Germany up until 1990. We will visit a museum to learn more about it. Lastly, we will head to Berlin. Evening arrival.

Ease your way into the local culture with a guided visit of Germany’s incredible capital, Berlin. We shall visit the historic centre, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gates and the city’s magnificent parks. We continue our visit by stopping at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. This visit helps us to understand the difficult situation the city experienced during the Twentieth Century. Time to explore the city. Enjoy an evening in the lively area of Kantstrasse, a district that offers different types of ethnic restaurants to dine in (Indian, Oriental, Italian, German, and so on).

    From 1961 to 1989, this wall divided Berlin in two and came to symbolize the division between East and West Germany during the Cold War.

    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • All cancellations or changes of date must comply with the following details: (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within or more than 31 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    10% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 30 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    25% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 10 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    35% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 3 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    Absolutely NO refund on all cancellations or postponements within 1 day prior to departure (not including departure date).
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
  • We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
