Day 1: Home - Vancouver

Guests joining the tour in Vancouver should meet the tour guide at the luggage carousel #3 for domestic arrivals and in the arrival lobby by the aboriginal sculpture for internationals. Those who arrive Vancouver YVR airport before 12:00pm will have chance to enjoy a tour of the city that visits Chinatown, Stanley Park and Gastown.

Leaving from Vancouver we will drive through the valley of Fraser to Merritt. After lunch, we will visit the famous Ginseng Factory. Then continue our trip to Wells Gray Provincial Park and we will spend the night in Valemount, BC.

Today we will pass Mount Robson and enter the Japser National Park, where we will ride on the specially designed Ice Explorer onto the surface of the stunning Columbia Icefield. In the afternoon, we will pass by the Bow Lake and Crowfoot Glacier, then spend the night in Calgary.

Day 4: Calgary - Horseshoe Canyon - Drumheller - Banff (220 miles)

Today, we will head to the Horseshoe Canyon and the Royal Tyrrell Museum. After that, we will continue to the Banff National Park. We will firstly come to the Bow Falls and then spend night in the Banff town where we will have free time to explore by ownselves.

Today, we will enjoy the views of the Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. We can also take a sightseeing gondola that will provide us with an amazing view of Banff National Park. Then, we will pass by the Yoho National Park before visiting the Last Spike.

Today we will head to Kelowna and pass by the Okanagan Lake. Afterwards we will also visit VQA Winery where we can taste local red and white wines and Canadian icewine. Then we will pass by Merrit and return back to Vancouver.

Today, guests will be able to choose from 3 options.
Option A: Vancouver City Tour
Today we will first take Fly Over Canada and then have a city tour of Vancouver that includes visits to Capilano Suspension Bridge, Cliffwalk, Queen Elizabeth Park, Gas Town, Chinatown, Stanley Park and more!

Option B: Victoria City Tour
Today we will depart for Vancouver Island by ferry. We will stop at the Butchart Gardens, Empress Hotel, Chinatown, the Legislative Buildings, Beacon Hill Park, and the Mile Zero Monument.

Option C: Whistler Ski Resort
Today we will depart from Vancouver to Whistler, BC. Here, guests can ride the Peak 2 Peak Gondola or do some shopping in the newly-renovated Whistler Village. Our coach will transfer us back to Vancouver in the evening.

Day 8: Vancouver - Seattle (142 miles)

Visitors will be transferred to the Vancouver airport for flights home. Alternatively, guests may choose to be bussed back to Seattle for an extra fee. Please see "Departure and Return Details" for more information.
  • Airport Pickup: Free transfer from the Vancouver airport (YVR) is available from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Paid Airport (YVR) Pickup: 8:00am to 11:00pm, no need to wait other guests. First two persons charged $115 in total; every one more person charged additional $11 per person.Those arriving in Seattle will have to pay a transportation fee $41 per person one way and $82 for roundtrip. Your tour escort will be holding a sign with your name.
    For those who will join the tour in Vancouver: Domestic arrivals should meet at the number 3 luggage carousel, and international arrivals in the arrival lobby (Aboriginal sculpture).
    For those who will join the tour in Seattle: Please meet the tour guide at 12:00pm at luggage carousel number 14 or 1:00pm at the Ticket Office of Seattle Space Needle.
  • Airport Dropoff: Guests who will depart from Vancouver airport can take the hotel 24-hour free hotel shuttle to YVR. You may also opt to be driven back to the Seattle airport at 7:00am with a transportation fee. Those departing from Seattle should schedule their flights to depart after 3:30pm.

  • Passport Required: Some nationalities may need multiple entry visas to the USA as well as a Canadian visa. United States alien residents require a valid alien resident card. Passengers are responsible for their own entry requirements.

Confirmation

  • Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 72 hours of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status. Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the status of your booking.

Redemption

  • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your confirmation email. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office.     21-35 days or more before departure - 30% of total purchase amount

  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, Taketours only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking.
