Day 1: Toronto - Sudbury - Sault Ste. Marie (876 km)

Departing from Toronto in the morning, we will drive north to the city of Sudbury, stopping at Big Nickel, a monument to the city's nickel-mining industry. Then we will leave Sudbury and make our way to Sault Ste. Marie, where we will enjoy the beautiful scenery and sunset of the Lake Superior and stay overnight.

    Big Nickel

    A monument to Sudbury's proud history of nickel-mining, the Big Nickel is on the grounds of Dynamic Earth, a local science museum. It quickly became one of the city's best-known landmarks.

Day 2: Sault Ste. Marie-Wawa-Thunder Bay (502 km)

Depart in the morning to visit the "wild goose" town - Wawa, passengers can find here a giant statue of Canada Goose poised for flight guards at the entrance to the town. Pass by White River and arrive to the third largest port in Canada - Thunder Bay. At sunset, enjoy the view of port buildings encircled by golden sunshine.

Depart in the morning to Dryden, a town that reminds us of the gold rush. Then depart to Kenora, a city with a large native population. Travel to the capital of Manitoba - Winnipeg in the afternoon. Transfer to the Royal Canadian Mint.

Visit the Legislative Building and the famous Golden Boy Bronze Statue in the morning. Then travel to Regina in the afternoon and visit the Legislative Building of Saskatchewan. Take a tour in The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Heritage Centre.

Following, take Banff Gondola to the Sulphur Mountain and enjoy the panoramic view of Banff and Lake Minnewanka. Then visit the picturesque bow falls - venue of the famous movie “River of No Return” (actress Marilyn Monroe). You can also take the Lake Cruise Minnewanka to have some unique photo opportunities that can't be found elsewhere .

Depart in the morning for our next stop at the Jasper National Park. Visit Columbia Ice Field, the largest ice mass in the Rocky Mountains. Upon arrival, transfer by the big-wheeled "Snow Coach" to more than 300 meters deep Athabasca Glacier; The Glacier Skywalk is your front row seat to nature's most grand performance. Continue visits to Peyto Lake, pass Bow Lake, and Crows Foot Glacier etc. After lunch, travel via Rocky Mountains and Yoho National Park, then transfer to Kamloops.

  • The complete operator information and local contact numbers for your destination will be included on your e-ticket. It's essential to keep a copy of the e-tickets with you during your trip, as they serve as your proof of purchase.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    7 or more days prior to departure - $300/person
    4-6 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount
    Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
