Day 1: Vancouver - Seattle (229 km)

In the morning, we will depart for Seattle, where we will enjoy shopping at Premium Factory Outlets. Then we will visit the Fisherman's Terminal. After that head to Pike Place Market, where vendors lay out fresh farm goods and artisan products. We can even see the original Starbucks location! Also have an chance to learn the history of aircraft development at Museum of Flight.

    110 stores are located here including Adidas, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, BCBG Max Azria, Burberry, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Guess, Lacoste, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and so on. Stop at Tulalip Resort Casino, where you can gamble and enjoy the great entrainment programs & foods.

    Pike Place Market

    One of the oldest farmers' markets in the United States, the Pike Place Market first opened in 1909-- more than 100 years ago. The still-thriving market overlooking Elliot Bay sees more than 10 million visitors every year.

    Fisherman's Terminal

    The Fishermen's Terminal in the lively Port of Seattle area is perhaps most famous as the place the boats from the television show "Deadliest Catch" moor in the offseason. The area also includes eateries and shopping locations.

    Museum of Flight

    This air and space museum at King County International Airport in Seattle is the largest private aerospace museum in the world. Its collection boasts more than 150 aircraft, plus tens of thousands of artifacts and over a million photos.

Day 2: Seattle - Vancouver (229 km)

Today we will first head to the Amazon Spheres. Then we will come to the iconic Space Needle. We will be able to take the elevator to the observation deck to get a panoramic view of the city. We can also visit the Chihuly Garden and Glass, Science Center and the Musuem of Pop Culture. After that appreciate the great project of Ballard Locks. Continue to University of Washington, where we may enjoy the splendid cherry blossoms during approviate season. In the evening back to Vancouver.

    Ballard Locks

    Also known as the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, these regulatory waterways in Seattle control the flow of water between seawater Puget Sound and freshwater lakes in the city. Visitors can view spawning salmon from the underground viewing area.

    Founded in 1861, UW is one of the oldest universities on the West Coast. It has three campuses, with its main location in Seattle. It serves a student body of over 45,000.

  • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
  • Taxes and Service Fee (will be added when checking out)
  • Air fares between your city and the departure city.
  • All meals and drinks during the trip unless stated otherwise. The tour guide will make eating arrangements/select restaurants.
  • A mandatory service fees for tour guide/bus driver ($15/day per passenger).
  • Personal room fees such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/ mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

Additional Note

  • Accomodation: Each hotel room only has two beds. According to the fire regulations, each room can only accommodate four people no matter age. Smoking is not allowed in the hotel or you will be charged $350 penalty.
  • Passport Required: Some nationalities may need multiple entry visas to the USA as well as a Canadian visa. United States alien residents require a valid alien resident card. Passengers are responsible for their own entry requirements.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bilingual or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • Luggage: Each passenger could only carry one check-in luggage. Additional luggage fee is $35/extra piece.

Confirmation

  • Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 72 hours of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status. Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the status of your booking.

Redemption

  • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your confirmation email. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us.
  • Cancellation penalties per person as follows:(Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    31 days or more before departure - $50/per person penalty will be charged.
    21 - 30 days before departure - 50% of total purchase amount
    8 - 20 days before of departure - 75% of total purchase amount
    0 - 7 days before of departure - 100% of total purchase amount
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, Taketours only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
