Itinerary

Day 1:Grand Canyon West Rim(541 miles)

Meals: Meal: Excluded

We depart Las Vegas heading west past Lake Meade and the Hoover Dam en-route to one of the 7 wonders of the world - The Grand Canyon. We will arrive in the morning and get on a native Hualapai transport shuttle up to the first viewpoint known as Eagle Point. Here we have the famous Grand Canyon skywalk, a horseshoe shaped glass walkway that sits 4000 ft above the canyon floor and boasts spectacular one-of-a-kind views of west rim of the canyon. The unique design of this bridge will leave you feeling weightless as you "float" with this 360-degree view. After enjoying the skywalk there will be time to visit the small Native American Indian village of the Hualapai tribe and enjoy a delicious lunch in the air-conditioned Skywalk Cafe.

After Eagle point the tour will continue up to Guano point where there are magnificent views, its unique topography has landed this spot in Hollywood movies for decades. Spend your time taking in the views or enjoy hiking one of the many trails in the area. One such trail will lead to the remnants of a historic tram site that used to ferry miners 8,800 ft across the chasm to the bat guano mines, that gave this area its name. After exploring the area, we return to Guano point where we visit the native Hualapai market to shop their handmade arts and crafts. This is also our last chance for a bite to eat at Guano Point Cafe, an outdoor restaurant with fantastic views before we begin to head back for an early evening arrival in Las Vegas.
