Day 1: Gather in Vancouver or Seattle (142 miles)

Option 1: Vancouver
Today we will gather in Vancouver. Our guide will meet you at the airport for transfer to the hotel. After, guest who arrive before 1:30 pm will take a half-day tour of the city that includes stops at Canada Place, Vancouver Convention Center, Olympic Cauldron and Stanley Park etc, and take a mini ferry ride to Granville Island.

Option 2: Seattle - Vancouver
Today we will gather in Seattle. After pickup from the airport, we will take an excursion of the city that includes a brief stop at Space Needle. At the end of the day, we will transfer to the hotel in Vancouver, BC.

This city in the top-left corner of the United States is a major seaport as well as a cultural center. Whether you want to enjoy the scenery, grab some great coffee, or learn history, Seattle has something to offer.

  • This icon of the American Northwest has adorned everything for movie screens to postage stamps. Built in 1961 for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle features outdoor elevators and a rotating restaurant at its top.

This city in British Columbia is the most populated metro area in western Canada. This historic city grew from an 1867 settlement called "Gastown." Visitors can take a boat ride to nearby Victoria on Vancouver Island.

Day 2: Tour Option:Vancouver - Victoria or Whistler - Vancouver

Option 1: Vancouver - Victoria - Vancouver (70 miles)

In the morning we will take the ferry to Victoria, BC. Our day will be spent touring this city. Stops on our tour include the Butchart Gardens, Beacon Hill Park, and BC Parliament Buildings. At the end of the day we will take the ferry back to Vancouver.

This city on Vancouver Island in the central Pacific Ocean is the capital of British Columbia. It is home to many popular attractions, such as Beacon Hill Park, Butchart Gardens, the British Columbia Parliament Buildings, and more.

  • The British Columbia Parliament Buildings are where the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia meet. They are located in Victoria, British Columbia, at the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Visitors can marvel at the Baroque architecture and sprawling lawns.

  • Beacon Hill Park, located in Victoria, British Columbia, contains hiking trails, a waterpark, two playgrounds, a petting zoo, and botanical gardens, among many other attractions. Loved by locals and tourists alike, the 200-acre park has something for everyone.

Option 2: Vancouver - Whistler - Vancouver (150 miles)

Today we will start the journey along the Sea to Sky Highway, pass by Horseshoe Bay, Stawamus Chief to the Whistler Ski Resort. After a ride of the Whistler Mountain Gondola and Peak2Peak, relax and shop at the mountain or in the village. We will return to Vancouver in the late afternoon.

Whistler is a Canadian resort town in the southern Pacific Ranges of the Coast Mountains in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Over two million visitors come to Whistler annually, primarily for alpine skiing and snowboarding and in summer, mountain biking at Whistler Blackcomb.

  • The Peak 2 Peak Gondola is a cable car that connects Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains at the Whister-Blackcomb Ski Resort in British Columbia, Canada. It hold the world record for longest span between towers for a cable car.

Day 3: Vancouver - Kelowna - Okanagan - Salmon Arm/Vernon (337 miles)

Start our journey via the Canada highway, pass through Fraser valley, and head east for Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan Valley and home to world-class vintners. At Lake Okanagan, let us listen to its legendary story and search for the lake monster "Ogopogo". Then we will visit one of the most renowned wineries before settling down at Salmon Arm/Vernon in the evening.

It is one of the warmest regions in all of Canada. During the summer months, visitors are offered countless sandy beaches, hot sun, and a variety of outdoor and water activities. It is also a spectacular backdrop to the golf courses and Okanagan wineries and popular ski resorts.

  • This large and deep lake in the Okanagan Valley region of Canada's British Columbia is a popular recreation spot that offers a variety of activities in addition to gorgeous scenery. It has a surface area of 351 square kilometers.

One of the most liveable cities in Canada. Kelowna is the largest city in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. Bordering Okanagan Lake, Kelowna is well known for its hot summers and temperate winters.

Day 4: Salmon Arm/Vernon - Banff National Park - Banff (225 miles)

Proceed to the Eagle Pass and visit the "Last Spike" of the transcontinental railway connecting the east and the west. Travel through the Rogers Pass. After a thrilling gondola ride to the summit, you will be captivated by the majestic Rocky Mountains. Then we will discover the town of Banff within the country's first national park. Immerse your body in the soothing Banff Sulphur Mountain hotsprings. Overnight at Banff.

Salmon Arm first started as a railway camp during the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR), later developing into a logging, farming and dairy centre. It is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty, clean waterways, provincial parks and an abundance of green space.

  • The outpost of Craigellachie is a tourist stop in the Eagle Pass, which allows the Canadian Pacific Railway to pass through the Monashee Mountains. This was the location in which the "Last Spike" of the railway was placed.

  • This unique cable-car ride takes visitors to Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a UNESCO World Hertitage Site. Atop the mountain there are many viewing areas, a long boardwalk, and two small museums.

Day 5: Banff National Park - Vernon/Salmon Arm (185 miles)

Today, we will journey to Lake Louise. If weather permits, we can go snowshoeing on the ice surface of the lake. Then, we will enjoy a delicious meal at Chateau Lake Louise and a walk along the lakeshore. In the evening, we will relax in Vernon or Salmon Arm.

Canada's oldest national park-- and one of the first national parks in the world-- is home to an icy but gorgeous landscape.

  • Lake Louise is a glacial lake in Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park. The lake is known for its vibrant blue-green coloration, which comes from rock flour carried into the lake by the water of the nearby melting glaciers.

Day 6: Salmon Arm - Kamloops - Vancouver (266 miles)

We will arrive at Kamloops and visit the Ginseng factory. After passing by Hope and Hunter's Creek, we will arrive in Vancouver in the late Afternoon.Tour will end at Vancouver airport. Please see "Departure and Return Details" for more information.

Known as the birthplace of freeride mountain biking, Kamloops attracts mountain bikers from around the world looking to ride the rugged landscapes and the desert like climate.

  • The Sunmore Ginseng Factory and Spa in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada is the only ginseng manufacturer in North America and was founded in 1991 by Chinese doctor Zhang Shunmei. Visitors can enjoy the relaxing ginseng spa.
