In the morning, we will depart from Vancouver. Along the Fize Valley Highway, we will visit Merritt Town on the way. Then we will stop by the VQA Wine Shop and try Canadian ice wine. We will then contiue on to Vernon, BC to spend time at the Kalamalka Lake before making our way to Revelstoke for the night. Merritt is a city in the Nicola Valley of the south-central Interior of British Columbia, Canada. It is 270 km northeast of Vancouver. Merritt is known as the "Country Music Capital of Canada" for its wealth of country music attractions, activities, and events. It is one of the warmest regions in all of Canada. Today, we will visit Glacier National Park, then pass by Yoho National Park and into Banff National Park. Afterwards we wil come to visit the Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Then we will arrive in Alberta to visit Banff, where we will visit the Bow Falls. You can take the Gondola at your own expenses to the top of Sulphur Mountain to enjoy breathtaking views from the summit. Spend free time in downtown Banff exploring shops and dining options. We will spend the night in Banff. A portion of the Columbia Mountains Natural Region, in the interior wet belt of British Columbia. Today, we will pass by Bow Lake and proceed to the Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, where we will ride on the specially designed Snowcoach onto the surface of the stunning Athabasca Glacier, followed by a walk on the Glacier Skywalk, a glass-floored observation platform 918 feet above spectacular glacier-formed valleys and rushing waterfalls. Continue to visit the Peyto Lake. Afterward, We will spend the night in Revelstoke. On our way back to Vancouver, we will visit the Last Spike Monument and then head to the Sunmore Ginseng Factory in Kamloops, BC. Salmon Arm first started as a railway camp during the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR), later developing into a logging, farming and dairy centre.
