Day 1:Calgary - Banff(600 km)

Today's itinerary includes optional thrilling snow activities, allowing you to experience the world-famous powder snow and magnificent scenery of the Rockies. For tours departing from January to early March, we will visit the Abraham Lake, replacing Minnewanka Lake and Banff Hot Springs.

  • Abraham Lake
    An artificial lake in western Alberta, Canada with a surface area of 53.7 km2 and a length of 32 km. It is a popular destination for photographers because of "frozen bubbles" under the ice.
  • Banff National Park, AB

  • Lake Louise Ski Resort

  • Minnewanka Lake
    This glacial lake is the longest in the Canadian Rockies at 21 kilometers long. The lake is fed by several streams and rivers, most notably the Cascade River.
  • Banff Upper Hot Springs
    These outdoor hot springs provide breathtaking views of the surrounding Banff National Park, especially Mount Rundle. The water flow to the springs stops for several months during the winter.

Day 2:Banff National Park - Banff(82 km)

Today, we will head to Banff National Park. Ride the Sulphur Mountain Gondola, to reach the top of the mountain. We will arrive in Banff in the afternooon where you can enjoy shopping.

  • Sulphur Mountain
    This mountain in Banff National Park is part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. There is a gondola that takes you nearly to the summit, which is perched at 8,041 feet.
  • Banff Gondola
    This unique cable-car ride takes visitors to Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a UNESCO World Hertitage Site. Atop the mountain there are many viewing areas, a long boardwalk, and two small museums.
  • Bow Falls
    The Bow Falls are a 30-foot-high, 100-foot wide waterfall just outside the city of Banff. The falls are popular with tourists because they are just a short walk from the town and can be reached on foot from most hotels.

Day 3:Banff - Banff National Park - Yoho National Park - Salmon Arm(293 km)

Depart in the morning for Lake Louise, known as the “Sapphire of the Rockies.” In winter, the lake is frozen and surrounded by the majestic Mount Victoria and Victoria Glacier. The snow-covered scenery feels like a fairytale wonderland, leaving visitors enchanted and reluctant to leave.

Day 4:Salmom Arm - Kamloops - Vancouver(428 km)

Today, we will visit Last Spike Firstly. On our way to Vancouver we will stop in Kamloops, BC to visit the Sunmore Ginseng Factory. After that, we will continue back to Vancouver. Please see "Departure and Return Details" for more information.
  • Salmon Arm, BC
    Salmon Arm first started as a railway camp during the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR), later developing into a logging, farming and dairy centre. It is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty, clean waterways, provincial parks and an abundance of green space.
  • Eagle Pass/Last Spike
    The outpost of Craigellachie is a tourist stop in the Eagle Pass, which allows the Canadian Pacific Railway to pass through the Monashee Mountains. This was the location in which the "Last Spike" of the railway was placed.
  • Kamloops, BC
    Kamloops is a city for every season. A place where you can skip the crowds, stretch your legs and just escape to the unexpected. Known as the birthplace of freeride mountain biking, Kamloops attracts mountain bikers from around the world looking to ride the rugged landscapes and the desert like climate.
  • Sunmore Ginseng Factory
    The Sunmore Ginseng Factory and Spa in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada is the only ginseng manufacturer in North America and was founded in 1991 by Chinese doctor Zhang Shunmei. Visitors can enjoy the relaxing ginseng spa.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
