Day 1:Calgary, AB

Enjoy a complimentary airport pickup service. Upon arrival, you have the option to head straight to the hotel and relax during your free time, or choose from the following activities (available for an additional fee) to enrich your first day if arriving early.

Guests who arrive before 12:00 pm can choose one of the following optional activities with a surcharge. Tours start around 1:30 pm after being picked up from the airport and transferred to the hotel of the day.

Option A - Half Day Calgary Downtown Tour: Explore "Calgary CBD" and check out trendy locations such as The Core shopping mall (5hr)
Option C - Half Day CrossIron Mill Outlets Tour: Shopping! Shopping! Shopping! The largest single-level shopping center in town. (5hr)

Depart from Banff and travel west along the Highway 1. Pass the dramatic ramparts of Castle Mountain as you enter the most iconic lake and glacier region of the Canadian Rockies. It is named for features such as the Columbia Icefield, visible from the parkway. It links Lake Louise with Jasper to the north. At its southern end, the Icefields Parkway terminates at Highway 1.

After breakfast, leave the Icefields Parkway lodge and head into Jasper National Park. Visit the powerful Athabasca Falls, where glacial meltwater carves through a rugged canyon. In the afternoon, explore the vast Maligne Lake, with an optional cruise to the iconic Spirit Island, before seeing the unique disappearing Medicine Lake, known for its seasonal water levels and Indigenous legends. After breakfast, depart Jasper for the final day of your Rockies journey. Enjoy the serene reflection at Pyramid Lake before heading to the Columbia Icefield. Experience the Ice Explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier and the breathtaking Ice Skywalk glass platform (both optional). After lunch at the Icefield Centre, continue along the Icefields Parkway to admire the vivid turquoise waters of Peyto Lake and the stunning mountain reflection at Bow Lake. The tour concludes with a pass through Banff Town en route to Calgary.

    Bow Lake is a bright turquoise color which is due to the glacial runoff from Bow Glacier. Historical Simpson's Num-Ti-Jah is located on the shores of Bow Lake at the foot of Mount Jimmy Simpson.

Departure & Return

Calgary Airport Pick up:
  • Complimentary airport pickup service at Calgary International Airport (YYC) is available at 10:00/12:00/14:00/16:00/18:00/20:00/22:00. Upon arrival, please proceed to the Gate 5 on the Arrivals Level to confirm your pick-up information.
  • Hotel shuttle service is available for flights arriving between 6:00-9:00 AM and 22:00-23:00 PM. This complimentary service departs once every hour. If you are unable to take the designated shuttle, the travel agency will coordinate the next available shuttle for you according to the hotel shuttle availability.
  • Private car airport pick-up service is available on a Pre-paid basis: for flights arriving between 7:00-23:00. The first two passengers will be charged $100 CAD plus tax, and each additional passenger will be charged $20 CAD plus tax. Please be aware that there is a maximum of four people per order.
Note If pick-up service is included in the guest's itinerary, please be sure to provide accurate flight information. Any inaccurate information provided resulting in errors for the pick-up service; the travel agency reserves the right to provide second transfer services with an additional charge (according to the paid private car airport pick up service fee) or coordinate the next available pickup according to the availability.

To ensure a smooth and complete trip, we strongly recommend that you order activity tickets and meal packages, at the time of booking a tour. No additional changes or modifications will be provided within 10 days before or during the tour.
Hotel Class: North American Hotels do not have an official hotel star rating standard. The hotels involved on the trip are local brand hotels.
If for any reason you need to leave our group during the trip, you must fill out a "Letter of Liability Release"; no exceptions.
Guests under 16 years old, must be accompanied by an adult (Age 18 or above).
In the event of traffic, weather, or other circumstances not under our company's control, or if you are unable to participate in activities included in the itinerary due to personal reasons, no refunds will be given.
During the tour, please arrive at the pick-up location at the time scheduled by the tour guide. Do not be late to avoid delaying other tourists' itinerary. If you are late or miss the transportation we have provided, you are responsible (at your own expense) to meet the group at the next designated meeting location.
Maligne Lake Cruise Maligne Lake Cruise tickets are limited resources for pre control. When the pre control resources are sold out, it will be arranged for tourists on a first come, first served basis according to the order. If guests fail to book the Cruise tickets, the fee will be refunded according to the order content.
Luggage Policy: Each guest is allowed 1 check-in bag (total dimensions must not exceed 62 inches), 1 carry-on, and 1 personal item. Extra luggage will not be allowed.
