Day 1:Yellowknife Winter

After arrival in Yellowknife airport.

Fly into Yellowknife, a well-know city for Aurora viewing in Canada. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and try the winter clothing and shoes. Tonight, you will enjoy hot coffee, tea and snacks while viewing Aurora.

The Northern Lights are the result of collisions between gaseous particles in he Earth's atmosphere with charged particles released from the sun's atmosphere. "Aurora borealis", the lights of the northern hemisphere, means "dawn of the north". In Roman myths, Aurora was the goddess of the dawn. Many cultural groups have legends about the lights. Many beliefs around the northern lights see the phenomena as a good omen.

Tonight, you will enjoy hot coffee, tea and snacks while viewing Aurora.

Explore the beautiful city of Yellowknife: Frontier Visitor Centre. A scenic drive through downtown and iconic Old Town to the Pilot's Monument where you can overlook the view of Yellowknife City. Tonight around 21:00pm-22:00pm, you will start our aurora viewing tour till 2am next day.

Free at your leisure during the daytime. The famous restaurant --Bullocks' Bistro, their Grill local fish is very delicious. You can join optional tours or explore the city by yourself. Tonight around 21:00pm-22:00pm, start your Aurora viewing tour. Return to hotel around 02:00AM.

Bid farewell Yellowknife and transfer to airport for your flight to Calgary (Flight is not included).

Day 5:Calgary - Banff National Park - Banff Town(266 km)

We will visit Banff Sulphur Mountain, ride Gondola, appreciate Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and experience Ice Walk at Marble Canyon. Later we will visit Banff Town and spend the night there.

  • Sulphur Mountain

    This unique cable-car ride takes visitors to Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Atop the mountain there are many viewing areas, a long boardwalk, and two small museums.

    Banff, known as the "soul of the Rockies" is a small town located within Banff National Park in Alberta. It is within distance of several hiking mountains and is home to many shops and boutiques.

Day 6:Calgary - Banff National Park - Yoho National Park -Banff(122 km)

After pickup, we will head to Lake Louise. Then we will continue to Yoho National Park, see Spiral Tunnel, Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge and Vermilion Lakes.

Tour ends Banff Town.

  • Lake Louise
    Lake Louise is a glacial lake in Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park. The lake is known for its vibrant blue-green coloration, which comes from rock flour carried into the lake by the water of the nearby melting glaciers.

  • Snowshoeing (Optional if weather permits)
    Come to Banff National Park and take a snowshoeing tour, which is a unique way to explore this beautiful, natural landscape.

  • Vermillion Lake
    The lake comes from the sulfur hot springs of the nearby Sulfur Mountain, so the riverbed is cinnabar brown, and the shore is swampy, with a natural smell of sulfur in the slimy mud. Here, as long as you look up, you will see the pretty Rundle Mountain.
  • Yoho National Park, BC
    These are the western slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Towering rockwalls, spectacular waterfalls and soaring peaks earn the park its name.
  • Emerald Lake
    The Emerald Lake in British Columbia, Canada's Yoho National Park is the largest of the park's many lakes and one of the park's most popular spots. The lake is named for the spectacular turquoise color of the water.

  • Natural Bridge
    The Kicking Horse River, a Canadian Heritage river, in the Yoho park, has created a natural bridge through solid rock. This formation is located 3 km west of Field, accessible from the road to Emerald Lake.

  • Spiral Tunnels
    [Spiral Tunnel] is a section of the Canadian Pacific Railway that carried too much blood and tears of railroad workers and history.

Day 7:Banff National Park - Calgary(558 km)

We will visit Lake Louise Ski Resort. Guests can experience Tubing, Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola.
*If Not Open, will be replaced by Icefield Parkway (Bow Lake/Peyto Lake)
*Will be replaced by leisure time at Lake Louise if not joining below optional activities.
*Nov-Dec & Apr stop for about 3 hours // Jan-Mar stop for about 2 hours

Afterwards we will continue to visit Lake Minnewanka and Banff Upper Hotspring

**SEASONAL SPECIAL For JAN-MAR departure, we will visit the "Bubble Lake (Abraham Lake)" + Heli Tour (Optional) instead of Minnewanka Lake & Hot Springs.

At the end of day we will return to Calgary.

Additional Notes

Hotel Policy
Hotel Room Type: Standard rooms feature either "two double beds" , "one double bed with a sofa bed", or "one double bed". Please note that no extra beds are provided for 3rd or 4th guests in the room.
Check-in Time: Hotel check in time is 4:00 PM. Guests arriving in the morning are not guaranteed to check in.
Others: According to the regulations of different hotels, you may be asked to provide a credit card as a deposit for incidental expenses during the stay, such as telephone calls, etc. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms. Violation of the rules will result in a fine of the passenger's own cost.
Yellowknife activities: If the Yellowknife activities is canceled due to personal reasons, activities fares will not be refunded. If cancel due to severe weather, under-represented, uncontrol reasons, fully refunded.
Aurora: The aurora is an unique phenomenon in the polar regions but it is still weather dependants. We shall not be responsible if the northern lights are invisible, and guests cannot ask for refund due to this reason
Baggage Restrictions: one check in and one carry on luggage, with applicable size restrictions, are allowed for each person. Extra per baggage will be charged C$50+5%GST
Other Notes: Airport pickup day will not be guaranteed for the VIP Seat (i.e., first 4 rows)
Pre-order Meal Selection: If you choose the meal plan, please select your main dish for lunch from the following options: Chicken, Alberta Beef, or Vegetarian. Each guest may choose their own option. If we do not receive your selection 14 days prior to the tour departure, "Alberta Beef" will be automatically selected as the main dish.
Meal Plan: Not recommend choosing the group meal option for guests with any dietary requirement (e.g., vegetarian) or allergies.
Itinerary Adjustments: In case of attraction closures due to weather conditions, we will substitute them with alternative attractions to ensure a fulfilling experience.
