Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.Tour Cancellation:

No. This tour covers the view of the Niagara Falls from the US side. The tour does not go to Canadian side. Therefore, no Canadian visa is needed.

How to select and pay the optional admission fee?
Optional activities admission fee is not included in the tour price, but the tour guide will arrange activities for passengers during the tour. If passengers are interested in activities,they can pay cash directly to the tour guide on the tour.

How can I make pre/post tour hotel reservations?
When booking the tour online, under "Price a Trip, Book now", you will find an option - "Do you need to extend hotel stay?" By clicking on "Yes" you can enter the date you need for extended hotel and decide the hotel option.

Where will we have meals in this tour?
Meals are not included in the tour price but the tour guide will arrange meal stops. Normally the tour stops at shopping plaza or food court where passengers can see a few options and decide their own meals. For breakfast, if the hotel has complimentary service, the tour guide will inform passengers upon check-in.

Is there any vegetarian or Indian food options provided in this tour?
The places where we make stops for meals have different variety of food selections including vegetarian options. At Niagara Falls there are several Indian restaurants, where passengers can choose from.

Where can I park my car?
There's a parking within walking distance from the Manhattan pick-up location. The parking address is 38 Bowery St,New York, NY 10013. The parking fee is $45 for overnight parking. There's no parking service in Edison (Kam Man Food Inc) and Parsippany (Top Quality Food Market)in NJ. The stores do not allow parking. There's some free street parking space nearby. But the space availability is not guaranteed.

Where are the pick-up locations of tours?
Departure information, including time and location, is listed in the “Departure And Return Details” section of the tour itinerary. There is a link to a map online as well. Also, e-Ticket will include full pick-up time and location information. Once the booking is done online, you will receive eTicket in your email.

How do I recognize the bus and the tour guide at the location?
For local tours, please arrive at the pick-up location stated on your eTicket 20 minutes in advance. The tour bus will have the name of the trip placed on the bus front window.
For tours with airport pick up. Airport greet and meet: Your tour escort will be wearing a yellow uniform and holding a sign with your name. Domestic arrivals, your tour escort will wait at the baggage claim area/outside of the arrival's (restricted) area. International arrivals, your tour escort will wait just outside of customs exit. -
Do I need to pick up a physical ticket?
No. You do not. E-Ticket will be automatically emailed to you after you complete your booking online. All you need to do is to bring a valid picture ID along with a printout of eTicket you receive to board the scheduled bus.

For Tuesday departure, the tour will go to DC on day 1, so you will not be able to stay behind in Dc on day 3. You may need to change to Monday, Wednesday or Friday departure.

Generally the tour starts early morning around 7:00am and ends around 7:30pm everyday. Also it usually takes 1-1.5 hours for big attraction and 20 minutes for minor attraction. Unfortunately we won't be able to customize attractions for single customer.

| So my tour was started pretty bad. I probably put the wrong date on my booking. But then I went to their main office, and they just changed it, They didn't give me hard time at all... Then the tour itself was so well managed and well planned we were able to see so many attractions on the trip. The only bad thing about seeing so much stuff is we can't really enjoy our time at the place, but then again it was worth it because we can see soooo many places with the money we paid. I would really recommend to take this tour if what you look for is the tour to see across the country. But if you want to feel like a local, I will suggest to just stay at one city for a week. In conclusion, the tour is legend, wait for it, DARY!!!! | ||

| My partner and I read some of the reviews for the 3 day Niagara Trip and were wary of some of the slightly negative comments. However we went on the trip and were very pleased that we did so. The trip was pleasant, frequent stops for the restroom and food. The food stops had a variety of choices (subway, kfc, md, supermarkets and restaurants, etc) considering the nature of the trip. The standard of the hotels were superb. The Guide was informative, very pleasant and helpful. There were a couple of niggles however:- No working toilet on the bus. This did not present a problem on our trip due to frequent stops (not too many) and the travellers needs, BUT there should be a working toilet. We arrived at about 9.50pm at Niagara (in time for holiday fireworks) and could only have 15 mins to stay there. After such a long journey, it was such a very short time. 45mins would have been better as the amount of people there made viewing somewhat restricted, extra time would have been most useful. Lastly an awesome thunderstorm meant that our trip to Watkins Glen Park was cancelled. Really dissapointing but understandable (the guide didnt hesitate in refunding monies paid for this event, WELL DONE & THANKS!). We also arrived in Philadelphia at around 5pm and therefore could not stroll through the centuries old Independence Hall and Congress Hall. We chose not to visit the IMax cinema with the rest of the tour party, but instead used the time to view the falls and nearby area instead - certainly glad we did. Saw a lot of the area in daytime. All in all - would I recommend this trip - definately. When my partner and I holiday again in the USA, we would definately be looking at trip availability from Taketours. | ||

| It was a great trip overall. Would definitely recommend it. Try to go in the Spring-Summer regions though. The Winter itinerary wasn't 100% worth it. Especially the Power Vista. Old Fort Niagara was the most beautiful out of them all. Time was constrained, but our tour guide Ken managed. Essentially it was quantity over quality. If your going, be ready to bring some extra cash on hand. Like at least $150 per person because admissions does cost a bit. | ||

| My trip was great, the tour guides Ricky and Batman were awesome! The hotels were great and the itinerary was as planned. If you are taking this trip please read carefully what is included because some people did not want to pay the $6.00 service fee per day for the driver and great tour guides. When you purchase your tickets print the receipt and the itinerary where shows you what attractions are included or not. The time in each place is not very long but is only 3 days to cover a lot, so be ready for that. In general I think the buses could be better but for the price I think I received way more that I expected. I have purchased tickets for another tour already...great prices, great tour, great hotels...I love it!!!! | ||

| I just got home from my three day adventure. It was so fun, I definitely recommend it to everyone. The bus was big and comfortable, the accomodation was really nice, the staff were wonderful informative and kind (we had Scott, Kitty and Shaun). There was a little boy on the bus who was getting restless and Scott went above and beyond to entertain him so he did not cry. That was pretty cool. The maid of the mist was soooo beautiful and the walk through the gorge was incredible. I travelled on my own but made new friends. Just make sure you have cash on the trip, you need to pay for activities but they are affordable e.g. maid of the mist boat tour $15, walk $10 and washington cruise approx $25. You can choose what you want to do and what to skip. Do this trip, its great :) | ||

| Me and my wife enjoyed all 3 days. The tour guide Daniel organized the tour very well and cooperated with all of us. We had fun with him every day of the trip. And our Bus driver Michel was wonderful, he drove the bus likes very well. Initially it was looks like everything was hurried after some time we got enough time to see all the places and particularly in Niagara we had a very good time and enough time to see all the places. Mr. Jin suggested me where to go when I wanted to skip IMAX and Glass museum. He was so helpful. Mr. Batman was so nice and funny, good photographer too. | 100% Recommended Extreme value for money. We boarded from DC. Stayed first night in Comfort Inn, Tysons Corner, VA. Second day went to Niagara. Stayed in Holiday Inn. The next day went to Corning glass museum and Watkins Glen state park and then to NY. In short: - Extreme value for money. - Hotels were good. - Tour Guide (Do not remember the name) and Driver (John) were very good and friendly. - People on the tour were extremely friendly, a special note for my Kiwi friends (if they read this they will know) - 100% recommended for people who want to visit Niagara and see a lot of stuff in little time and money. | We really enjoyed the trip, this is advisable for those who don’t like driving and has limited time to cover these places. The good part is we had an American guide who was well aware of the history and places, so it was really refreshing to hear from him and also they gave plenty of time in Niagara which was most attractive. The hotels were also really good; we stayed in Holiday INN (Maryland) and Radisson (Niagara). I just had one suggestion, instead of cruise trip in Washington (as we again have a cruise at Niagara) if they would have taken to another museum it would be nice. | ||

I just recommend that the tour guides don't have to obligate the tourists to pay for all the attractions and go to a really expensive Chinese buffet restaurant, the majority of the bus really wanted to eat fast food. | Me and my family generally liked the tour. However more time should be given at Niagara Falls. The tour party missed the Cave of the Winds because the counter closed before the tour guide could buy the tickets. These should be procured in advance and proper planning should be done to take care of tourist rush seasons. One will normally not make such visits a second time, so we really missed out on one opportunity. The tour guide, she was very nice and helpful, however your company needs to ensure that their spoken English is acceptable. | ||

| This was the first time in US, I took any kind of tours. And to my surprise, the tour was exceptionally good. Special mention to out tour guide King and driver Leo. King was very co-operative and humorous. He kept the spirit alive for all 3 days. The hotels booked were also pretty good for the price paid. We almost covered 7 states in 3 days(22nd April to 24th April). Everything was on time and that was the most important thing. We never got delayed for any of the destinations and covered all places which are mentioned in the itinerary. This trip was very special to me as I was taking my parents along with and they liked it very much. Only suggestion I have is the stops shouldn't only be at Italian and Chinese joints. Overall, I'll not think twice before referring someone for this tour. | ||

| I booked this tour for my parents and they really enjoyed this tour. They had a wonderful guide whose name is King who used to call them Mummy and Puppa (Viswanathan). My parents enjoyed the service provided by the bus tour and King. They would like to convey their special thanks to King. Their tour started on 14th April and ended on 16th April. I would like to provide my special thanks to King. They also liked the driver who was very cooperative. Given this tour is taken by lot of Indians I would suggest that the bus should stop in some Indian place for lunch or dinner. | ||

| The trip was great. A highly recommended one for first timers and tourists. As people have said early, the guide needs to be better trained in English and also it would be preferred if they stop for lunch and dinner at Food Courts where we would have more options other than only Chinese. | You certainly see a lot on this trip! You are also in the bus a long time so bring along whatever will keep you comfortable and entertained. Due to weather conditions on Day 1 we didn't get to the first hotel or Niagara until late at night we got to visit the falls twice. Day 3 is very full visiting as many monuments in Washington before leaving around lunch time to head to NY via Philadelphia. Instead of visiting the Space Museum I went across the road to the Museum of the American Indian which was great. I really enjoyed and recommend this trip. | ||

| This is our 2nd time with your company. My husband & I including my son did really enjoyed this tour. Terry, our tour guide was great, including Michael (our bus driver) he's one of the safest driver. I wish we could have more time in Washington DC, not able to see Arlington Cemetery with the changing of the guards, nor we're not able to see Jefferson Memorial, just a glance. Aside from this, it was great. One thing more, DVD player wasn't working, I wish we also have some music playing. I would recommend this to my friends. | ||

| I would have given 5 stars as I had given last year for this same tour, but this time I had couple of issue for which I want to point out: 1. The seat allotment for our 6 members was given at different places and... This is not good at all. 2. The guide showed White House in DC from back side and time available was just to have a glance from the far back and take a pic and back to bus(total 25 mins to walk 1/2 mile and see from back and come back 1/2 mile). Apart from these two issues, rest of the tour was good with couple of new places added and the guide was good at her job. | ||

| this tour was our first experience in condcted bus tours - and we loved it!!The accomodation was excellent and the experience awesome! however, like many other's have stated, there is no fee for Glen Park treck and yet they collect fees for this. If they need this money for fuel costs - why dont you add it to the total costs? And payment by cash only is not so convenient if you run out of cash. Overall - excellent vale for money!!! | ||

| The trip was fantastic , I enjoyed it along with family.The tour guide Gaby was very friendly and the bus driver as well. We got enough time at thousand Island DC. You can think of giving more time at Niagara, especially for food, there is good Indian restaurant at walking distance (which i saw while returning to the bus). | Great tour, but waste of time in Philidelphia, the stop is only 30 minutes so no time to see anything. Dont pay for the Glen park tour its a state park where the entrance is free so when the bus stops just walk in together with the other passengers. Dont buy the imax movie in Niagara Falls its a 15 year old movie and its a boring movie. Great hotels and our guide AL was super :-) | ||

| The trip was nice once I was able to locate the bus. I boarded in DC and we were told to meet at 601 Independence Ave.(NASM) The tour guide tried to call the day of the trip and the number I provided was a home number, which I was not there, to inform me that the bus meets on the opposite side of the museum. I was an hour late for the tour and missed going inside the NASM. They should have contacted us earlier or state exact location if they are going to use a different address. The hotels were very nice and clean. I didn't like arriving at the hotels so late each night.(11pm) Definitely need more time in Niagara Falls. Overall the trip was good but pretty tiresome. Everyone was friendly and I would recommend it to friends. | ||

The only problems we had, that the Hotel in Buffalo (Adams Mark) was totally dirty and disgusting. The guide got us in the Glass Center 4 free (we are both 19) but kept our money. Even after asking for it, we didn't really get an answer, what was pretty annoying. Its 28$ we are talking about!!! All in all it was great with just a couple of things. Price is just great and you get a lot.... loved it, would go again!! | ||

I had Jim and Jin ^^ and even though they are supposed to speak Chinese most of the time, they really take good care of everyone. Only thing is they should warn people that diner is a buffet, (which is supposed to make everyone happy), but vegetarians complained. And there was nothing they could do. So people should know before they take the tour, and we don't lose our time talking about diner issues! | ||

| My husband and I went on this tour not expecting too much due to the price but, decided we would make the best out of it since it was our anniversary. Boy, were we surprised. Not only is the price great but we got way more than we bargained for. The bus was cozy (as a bus can be), the hotels were better than expected (we stayed at the Sheraton and Comfort Inn Suites no free breakfast as previously stated) and we saw a lot in a few days. The biggest surprise was our tour guide Jade, she was friendly, down to earth, and funny and she kept everyone on schedule. I have recommended this tour to all of my friends and intend to go again in the summer with my kids since we weren't able to go on the Maid of the Mist due to it being closed for the season. The food was okay, as previously stated there was a lot of Chinese buffet(the one in Washington was good). However a pointer I can give you is that in Niagara Falls there is a Hard Rock Cafe and a Denny's just a few blocks away, also there is a little cafe at Niagara for coffee, soda and sandwiches. The falls are beautiful and everything is as they said on the website. Carry snacks and some type of entertainment (book, iPod, lover, friend, etc.) because there IS a lot of time on the bus but every stop makes it all worth it. Jade was a wonderful tour guide and I just want to say thank you because she made us feel so comfortable. I gave 5 stars because they deserve it and I won't deduct for the food because it has nothing to do with their service. | ||

| Great tour! The timeframe is perfect - We never felt rushed but we still got to see so much in very little time. Niagara Falls is amazing and the monuments in Washington are something everyone should visit once in their life. The bus was pretty comofrtable (at least, as comfortable as a bus can be), the restaurants we stopped to eat were all good enough; nothing too special but just good enough :) Our tour guide - Ivey, was amazing! She was very knowledgable and also a very cool person. She really made the tour a great experience.. Thank you Ivey! :) | ||

| This tour was good for the money i paid. it was a 3 day tour to Philly, D.C. & Niagara, I traveled in the month of March 2011,(not a great time to travel, April would be great from what I heard). pls carry your jackets and gloves (in the winter time) and a good Sports Shoe for long walking. The pickup point for me was CHINATOWN, MANHATTAN (Bowery st). People who get down from New York Penn Train station can either take a Taxi for 12 dollars (morning 7 o clock, less traffic) or take a Subway Train for 2.50 dollars to reach Chinatown Manhattan. Subways are really close to this place, just a 5 to 8 mins walk. There was nothing much to see in Philadelphia just 4 buildings, (it is better to opt for 1000 islands), Washington and Niagara were great. Had so many places to visit in Washington. Niagara was great but missed Maid of Mist since it was the month of March. Had a good time in those 3 days even though there was a lot of traveling. The tour was cost effective (value for your money). The hotels were I stayed was very good. You have huge spaces in the Bus for your baggage. But the restaurants which they stopped during dinners were all Chinese restaurants (which cost up to Max 15 dollars a meal). Vegetarians better carry food on your own. The Tour guide MR. Tommy Wong was not great, he was not polite to a few people on the bus; he has to improve a lot on his interpersonal skills. The tour was totally unscheduled. Tommy had no clue where we were going next and in which hotel we are going to stay that night. I believe he can improve and do a betterjob next time. I heard the other tour guides were much better. Even though the tour was not well planned things went on better than what I expected, value for your money, I would recommend this tour just for the cost. | ||

| Very Tight Schedule! The hotels are very good, but you spend a lot of time on a bus. Still, you really get to see a lot in a few days and the price is more than fair. You have to pay tips though and you have to pay for the food. Also you don't have all that much choice with food, since it is always chinese. I would advice this trip only if you really need to see these places and you don't have much time to do that. That was my case and I guess it worked for me. | ||

| I had an excellent time. I am a young solo lady traveler. I was extremely impressed by the tour guide who knew his stuff about each place. The tour I went on was between 19th Nov 2010- 21st November 2010. The Tour guide made us laugh and tried to make us feel so comfortable. He was excellent I can't remember his name but I was on bus 103. If one person was late back from the tour then we would have lesser time at the next stop. He made that clear but people on the tour took advantage of the time. It is a must and I recommend it. If you don't like coach trips then it isn't for you. But it was worth the money. Hotels are excellent, no need to upgrade. On my bus everyone was friendly and we all had a laugh. You don't have to know Chinese and make sure you have $20 each for the bus driver and tour guide tip. I will go again! | ||

| This is the second time I am taking this tour. This time with my mother. I felt there were changes from last year to this year. Positive changes: Hilton was awesome, food stops were made at great location with lot of options(not just Chinese), more time in Niagara Falls(took 2 tours), great guide and driver - Daniel and Michel Jackson!! Negative - Did not visit Hershey's, did not get enough time in Corning Glass factory. I would suggest this tour to anyone who want to cover lot of places in limited time. | ||

| We had our first tour weekend of labor day. We had so much fun. Our tour guide Hank was very accommodating, even if some of the passenger's were late. Our tour bus driver, 2 thumbs up - a safe driver. We would love to do this again. And thanks to my sister-in-law who introduces us to Gotobus.com. | The tour was very good. We also covered Hershey's Chocolate factory park which was not in itenerary. Some minus points were - we could not spend some more time in DC near White House or in museums as we were rushed up. Also in Niagara - could not go to Cave of the winds and were take to Niagara on rainy day (plan was changed) But overall worth the money as we cannot cover these areas in this small time like GoToBus does. Also the hotel accomodations were great. | ||

| Fantastic value for money. Jason our tour guide was really helpfull and good fun. Really busy tour with loads to see. Would definately recommend to others. Washington DC brilliant and Niagra amazing - crossed to Canada to get a better view. Thanks GotoBus. | ||

| Had so much fun, clean bus and nice tour guide...trip was well organized and bus driver were nice but not too much Chinese buffet. | ||

| It was a good tour. I think when the bus stops to visit a place, it should give us more time to go around the area. We felt rush the first day we were in Philly and Washington. Also, the food place need to be more varied for everybody. I understand more of the passengers are Chinese but still there should be considerations for others who would like to eat other type of food. Thanks!! | ||

| Great experience....I would do it all over again but in Summer. Good value for money! Hotels were great and came with free breakfast. Too many places to see therefore a little rushed to fit the schedule. Our tour guide (Jin) was awesome, fun and knowledgeable and the captain (John) a good driver! | ||

| Tour was great, VERY organised and ask for FEI, she is the most knowlegeable tourguide for this tour and a wonderful person. Accomodation great, and be prepared to be busy! The Chinese food was awesome despite previous Shridhar review (and I am not chinese!) there is plenty of food to choose from for meals! | ||

| tour was great - however - i also would cut out corning glass visit to spend more time in philadelphia or niagara. Accomodation was lovely - our guide fei was fantastic - whole tour conducted in english. Very good value for money | ||

| Really enjoyed this tour - would have like more time at Niagara Falls. Would cut out the Corning Glass visit to spend more time at Niagara. We had a great tour guide (Jason). I would recommend this tour if you are short of time - you get to see plenty of Washington DC - it was great. | ||
