DAY1 New York - Corning Glass - Watkins Glen - Niagara Falls Night View (407 miles)

Depart from NYC for Corning Glass Center, featuring over 30,000 objects from every era of glass-making, including real glass-making on-site. Visitors can see the fragile art of glass-making. You will witness firsthand craftsman and artisans handily working superheated glass into delicate decorative pieces.

The tour then continues to the Watkins Glen State Park is one of the most famous and scenic place in Upstate New York. The amazing Gorge Trail winds 1.3 miles over 20 beautiful waterfalls; such as rainbow falls, chain falls, endless falls etc. There are also suspension stone bridge and spiral tunnel that crosses high above the gorge. It is registered as a National Scenic Trail in the US. It is one of the most photographed places in the North East. From the American side of Niagara Falls, we proceed across the American - Canadian border Line (Rainbow Bridge) to witness the Falls from another perspective. Follow the rainbow of colors illuminating the falls right up to the Hurricane Deck for a breathtaking adventure you won’t forget.

DAY2 Niagara Falls - Rainbow Bridge - Skylon Tower - Toronto (437 miles)

We continue our sightseeing in Niagara Falls to see the majestic views of the nature up close. It is consisting of the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls. Soak up the experience of being closer to the waters of Niagara Falls than you thought possible, on a spectacular Niagara Falls tour. With a boat-ride on the Maid of the Mist (May Oct) where you can "soak" in the excitement and power of the Falls, and a visit to the IMAX Theatre Niagara Falls where you can experience Niagara Falls' incredible stories. The tour then departs for Toronto, one of Canada's largest cities. There we will visit Toronto's very old Chinatown, as well as Toronto's City Hall and Parliament Buildings - both unique in architecture and important in purpose. We will also tour the CN Tower, Toronto's most recognizable landmark and the tallest building in Canada. At the top of the tower, enjoy panoramic views through the elephant-proof glass floor observation decks and see why this structure was recently nominated one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

DAY3 Toronto - Thousand Islands (Apr-Nov) – Ottawa–Montreal (257 miles)

We will head for Thousand Islands in the early morning, located in Alexandria Bay (seasonal). Situated between Canada and the United States along the St. Lawrence River, there are actually 1,864 individual islands that dot the region. The tour will board a cruise in the Canadian Thousand Island region (seasonal), which features the more famous sights and views of Thousand Islands, including the renowned and romantic Boldt Castle. The castle was built in the 1890's by millionaire George Boldt for his beloved wife Louise. We will also see" Shortest International Bridge in the World" a small footbridge across two islands located between Canada and the US.

The tour will continue to Ottawa, the Canadian Capital. There we will visit the magnificent Parliament Building, as well as the stately Clock Tower nearby.

Depart from Ottawa to Montreal, unofficial capital for French Canadians. We will tour the Olympic Tower, part of the Olympic Park built for the 1976 Summer Olympic Games, featuring a 45 degree incline as the tower rises! We will also pay a visit to major churches in the area. The Notre-Dame Basilica, similar to its counterpart in Paris, has a wealth of exquisite detail, most of it carved from rare woods that have been delicately gilded and painted. It also houses le Gros Bourdon, is the largest bell on the continent. The Montreal Botanical Garden (French: Jardin botanique de Montréal) is a large botanical garden in Montreal, Quebec, Canada comprising 75 hectares (190 acres) of thematic gardens and greenhouses. It was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 2008 as it is considered to be one of the most important botanical gardens in the world due to the extent of its collections and facilities. Ranked as one of the largest of its kind in the world, the Montréal Botanical Garden is a veritable living museum of plants from the four corners of the Earth.

DAY4 Montreal–NYC

After the Duty-Free shopping in the morning, we will begin our day with a visit to the Ausable Chasm*, as breathtaking now as it was when the formation was first created nearly 500 million years ago. Visitors will have an opportunity to explore the Chasm and all of its scenic vistas with an easy hike along the rocky rim, where the paths are well maintained and the views spectacular. We will see the famous Ausable River as it plunges into deep crevices in its 700 foot journey through the Chasm below. (children must be age 2+.) We will then return to New York City, arriving in the area at approximately 7:00 pm.

    • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
    • Lodging: Single price is for one person staying in one room. Double, Triple and Quadruple prices are for two people, three people and four people staying in one room respectively. Triple and Quad rooms are based on the existing bedding in a room which is 2 double beds.

  Confirmation
Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email.
  Redemption
Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours

  • 15-30 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
  • 7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
  • 4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
  • Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
  • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
  • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
  • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days

  • Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
  • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
  • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
  • 1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
  • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
  • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
