This morning we will embark on our tour at 9:15 am, traveling south through Santa Cruz to enjoy a spectacular view of the Central Coast area. The tour includes a stop at Cannery Row in Monterey, the setting of John Steinbeck's famous novel, Cannery Row. We will also stop to shop and explore in the area and admire Monterey's beautiful shoreline.
Along the famous 17 Mile Drive down the coast, we will stop at vista points to see interesting shops, art galleries, and other attractions, including the restaurant district of Carmel-by-the-Sea, where we will stop to eat lunch and shop. The quaint, one square mile town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, located on the Bay of Carmel above a beautiful white sand beach, will create a picturesque and beautiful memory for the last portion of your tour. After lunch, you will venture out on your own to explore the town before we travel back to San Francisco, passing through Silicon Valley in the San Jose and Santa Clara counties before our arrival in the evening.
