Guests will be picked up from the specified departure location in San Francisco to begin this tour. Today, we will sail under the Golden Gate Bridge on our way to Alcatraz. We will circle Alcatraz Island and see every angle of this mysterious island. With sound effects and stories about famous inmates like Al Capone, Billy Cook the Killer, and Clyde Johnson's famous escape attempt, you'll have a clear picture of what life in this maximum-security prison when it the most feared institution in the American penal system. Hear chilling tales of escape attempts and unscripted accounts of life on the rock. As a special bonus, every child ticket purchased (ages 5-11) will receive one complimentary pair of 5x magnification Blue & Gold Fleet souvenir binoculars to make this extraordinary tour even more memorable. Redemption

  • You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete Operator information, including important local telephone numbers for your destination, is included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print the e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • All purchases will be confirmed with one business day after purchase.
  • All Tours require a minimum number of passengers to operate. You will be notified prior to departure time if cancellation is necessary.
  • We reserves the right to cancel or change any tours, schedules or rates and to cancel or substitute routes and stops on any tour without prior notice and to substitute restaurants, attractions, landmarks and or sites as directed by officials.
  • Changes to Reservations: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    15 days or more prior to departure - no penalty
    8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
