Day 1: New York - Philadelphia - Washington DC(236 miles)

In the morning we will visit Philadelphia. We will outside visit the National Independence Park and Liberty Bell. Then we will view the famous Independence Hall from outside. In the afternoon, we will head to Washington D.C. We will outside visit U.S. Capitol, Supreme Court of the United States and Library of Congress. We can also choose to take a Washington Night Tour, including the visit of Air Force Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, World War II Memorial and Capitol Reflecting Pool.

Today we'll visit many of the most iconic landmarks and buildings in the nation's capital during our visit to Washington D.C., stopping at the National Air and Space Museum, Capitol Hill (outside), White House (outside), Jefferson, Lincoln, Vietnam War, and Korean War Memorials. We also have the option to take a cruise on the Potomac River. Afterward, we will head north to New York City for the evening.

Day 3: New York - Camden - Kennett Square - Reading(312 miles)

Today, our first stop will be the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. This massive aquarium is the only aquarium in the world to have hippopotamus and the only in the US with Great Hammerhead sharks. Next, we will head into Pennsylvania to visit the Longwood Gardens in the village of Kennett Square, PA. Our last activity of the day will be the delightfully festive Koziar's Christmas Village in Reading, PA. This amazing Christmas attraction in eastern Pennsylvania makes use of more than a half million Christmas lights and other amazing effects to create a wondrous display of holiday cheer. After that, we will head south to New York. See "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

    • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

Redemption

  • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of the reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    15-30 days or more prior to departure - 10% of the total purchase amount.
    11-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    8-10 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure or no show- 100% of the total purchase amount.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit the entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.

  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

  • Luggage: Each customer may bring on board one checked luggage plus one carry-on bag.
  • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction. Passengers who take this tour need to purchase admission tickets from tour escort upon arrival.
