    Pricing Policy

    • Children policy: Child rates apply to those who are 2-9 years and sharing one room with at least 2 adults. Please note each hotel room can only accommodate 4 guests (adults or children regardless of age).
    • Infant Rate: A separate seat is required for infants and infant rate ($25/day) apply to those under 2 years old (*rate does not include any admission fees)
    Day 1

    Bay Area - Elko (510 miles)

    In the morning we will head to Sacramento, CA, the capital of California. We will then head east into Nevada. We will spend the night in Elko, NV.

    Sacramento

    Founded in 1849, Sacramento was at the heart of the gold rush, Pony Express and first continental railroad.

    Day 2

    Elko - Twin Falls - Jackson Hole - Grand Teton - Yellowstone National Park (742 miles)

    In the morning, we will head toward Grand Teton National Park, making a short stop at Jackson Hole, WY. After visiting the park, we will make our way to Yellowstone for the night.

    Grand Teton National Park is is located in the Rocky Mountains, Northwest Wyoming. Grand Teton National Park is noted for its stunning mountain vistas, its shimmering alpine lakes and its abundant wildlife.

    Day 3

    Yellowstone National Park - Pocatello (111 miles)

    Today we will spend the day in Yellowstone National Park.

    Yellowstone

    Yellowstone is part of the most seismically active region of the Rocky Mountains and lies on a volcanic 'hot spot'. It is well known for its hot springs and mud pots. It contains 200-250 active geysers and some 10,000 thermal features.
    • Old Faithful is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is one of the park's most well-known natural features, and is famous for its predictability. It generally erupts every 91 minutes.
    • This large complex of hot springs is impressive both for its unique beauty as well as its scale. Formed hundreds of thousands of years ago by volcanic and seismic activity, these springs are one of Yellowstone's most popular spots.
    • Named after the famous sketches of the waterfalls by Thomas Moran (but not actually the location where the sketched were done) this beautiful location showcases one of the most famous views in Yellowstone National Park.
    • Yellowstone Lake isn't just the largest single body of water in Yellowstone National Park, but the largest elevated freshwater lake in the US. The lake contains several underwater hot springs that melt its otherwise thick ice sheets in the winter.

    Pocatello - Salt Lake City - Bryce Canyon National Park - Bryce Canyon City (437 miles)

    In the morning we will head to Salt Lake City, UT to explore the Utah State Capitol and Salt Lake Temple. We will then continue on to Bryce Canyon National Park and spend the night in Bryce Canyon City, UT.

    Salt Lake City, UT

    • The home of all of the governmental processes for the state of Utah, the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City. The building is done in the ornate neoclassical revival style, purposefully reminiscent of the nation capitol in DC.
    • This 250,000-square-foot temple is the largest of the temples belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, known colloquially as the Mormons. The public cannot tour the interior, but the facade is a sight to behold.

    Bryce Canyon

    • Bryce Canyon National Park in southern Utah does not feature a canyon as its main attraction, but natural amphitheaters and an abundance of special rock formations called "hoodoos." The park it known for its scenic drive.

    Bryce Canyon City - Zion National Park - Las Vegas (251 miles)

    From Bryce Canyon City, we will head out to Zion National Park. Afterward, we will head to Las Vegas, NV.

    Zion National Park

    Zion National Park is located near Springdale, Utah. In this park we can find Zion Canyon, which is 15 miles long and up to half a mile deep. The lowest elevation in the park is 3,666ft. Human habitation of the area started about 8,000 years ago.

    Las Vegas - Hoover Dam - Grand Canyon (South Rim or West Rim Skywalk) - Las Vegas (614 miles)

    Guests may choose to visit the South Rim or West Rim* of the Grand Canyon. Alternatively, guests may spend the day as the please in Las Vegas.

    Grand Canyon

    • The Grand Canyon West area, not far east of Las Vegas, NV, is located on the Hualapai Native American reservation. Activities include the famous Skywalk Bridge, as well as tours of the surrounding canyon area.
    • The South Rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona attracts more than 5 million visitors every year. It is easily accessible and contains many amenities for tourists, including lodging and an IMAX movie theater.

    Las Vegas, NV

    Nicknamed 'Sin City' and the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas is situated in the midst of the southern Nevada desert landscape. The city has giant mega-casino hotels, decorated with lavish care and attention to detail to create a fantasy-like atmosphere.

    Las Vegas - Bay Area: (550 miles)

    After breakfast, we will drive back to the Bay Area. The tour will reach San Francisco at around 7:00pm. Guests may also choose to be shuttled to Los Angeles for an extra fee.

      Redemption

    You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Cancellations and Alteration fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours through web mail at Contact Us. Your refund request will be answered and processed promptly. If you do not receive any reply within 2 business days, that means your request is not received successfully; thus, the tour status remains "confirmed". Please contact us immediately at 617.354.2101.

    Cancellation penalties as follows;

    • Cancellations received up to 8 days prior to departure will incur a penalty of 10% of total purchase amount.
    • Cancellations received within 4-7 days of departure will incur a penalty of 50% of total purchase amount.
    • Cancellations received within 3 days of departure will incur a penalty of 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • We cannot grant refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
    • There is 6% handling fee of refund amount add-on to the above penalties.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements (e.g. minimum number of passengers) or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
