Day 1: Vancouver - Seattle - University of Washington - Pike Place Market - Olympic Sculpture Park - Space Needle (229 km)

Guests will start their journey from Vancouver to Seattle, WA. First, guests will visit the University of Washington and then Pike Place Market, which is located at Fisherman's Wharf. Here, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy various street performances; take photos with Rachel the Pig, or visit the world's first Starbucks, or taste the famous "Fish & Chips", or visit the internet trend "Gum Wall"; or visit the Central Public Library with the unique building structure, or take a Cruise Tour to visit the beautiful bay scenery at their own expense. After visiting the Olympic Sculpture Park, we will head to the Space Needle Square, where guests will visit various venues, such as Space Needle Tower, Chihuly Garden and Glass, EMP Museum, Pacific Science Center and more.

    University of Washington

    Founded in 1861, UW is one of the oldest universities on the West Coast. It has three campuses, with its main location in Seattle. It serves a student body of over 45,000.

    Fisherman's Terminal

    The Fishermen's Terminal in the lively Port of Seattle area is perhaps most famous as the place the boats from the television show "Deadliest Catch" moor in the offseason. The area also includes eateries and shopping locations.

    Pike Place Market

    One of the oldest farmers' markets in the United States, the Pike Place Market first opened in 1909-- more than 100 years ago. The still-thriving market overlooking Elliot Bay sees more than 10 million visitors every year.

    Olympic Sculpture Park

    The Olympic Sculpture Park transforms a nine-acre industrial site into open and vibrant green space for art. This new waterfront park gives Seattle residents and visitors the opportunity to experience a variety of sculpture in an outdoor setting, while enjoying the incredible views and beauty of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound.

    This icon of the American Northwest has adorned everything for movie screens to postage stamps. Built in 1961 for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle features outdoor elevators and a rotating restaurant at its top.

    EMP Museum

    The museum is founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and designed by avant-garde architect Frank O. Gehry, located at the foot of the Space Needle. Its colorful appearance is made up by 3000 pieces of metal means to present the strength of music and the beauty of flowing.

    Chihuly Garden and Glass

    This magnificent garden is an exhibit at the Seattle Center that displays the incredible glassworks of Dale Chihuly. The facility includes a garden, a glasshouse, interior exhibits, and a theater. Inside the glasshouse is a 100 foot long structure.

    Pacific Science Center

    This science museum in Seattle was opened in 1962 for the World's Fair. The independent, non-profit museum covers 7 acres and includes an IMAX theater, permanent exhibits, and several travelling exhibits.

Day 2: Seattle - Vancouver (229 km)

In the morning, we will take the Amtrak Train (USD24 and up for the adult and USD12 and up for the child) to visit the Boeing Factory. On the way, we can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the tracks. When we arrive in Mount Vernon, we will stop at the largest outlets in the state of Washington. By the late afternoon, we will be back in Vancouver.

    Boeing is the largest aircraft manufacture in the world. At its factory you will learn the history of aircraft making and also see one of the only 4 Dream lifters in the world; there will be professional Boeing employee guiding you to see the assembling process of the Boeing 7-series.

  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (Chinese/Cantonese/ English). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

Confirmation

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking, please do not book the airline tickets until your received the confirmation.

Redemption

  • You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within one business day after purchase, customers will be fully refunded if the orders cannot be confirmed.
    Cancellations received up to 31 days prior to departure - 15% of total purchase amount.
    Cancellations received within 14-30 days of departure will incur a penalty of 25% per person.
    Cancellations received within 14 days of departure or no show will incur a penalty of 100% per person.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. The refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Rockies hotel upgrade is non-refundable once booking confirmed.
  • Prices may vary subject to availability/season/weekend/holiday.
  • We reserve right to cancel a schedule to fully refund affected customers although we will make every effort to maintain the regular operation.
  • We reserve the right to modify the tour arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.
