Our tour leaves from Montreal at 8:00am in the morning, making the two hour drive to Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. When we arrive, we’ll first visit Parliament Hill, which includes the House of Commons, the Senate Chamber, the Library, and the Peace Tower, followed by a stop to admire Rideau Hall, which is the residence of General Governor of Canada. After a delicious lunch at an international buffet restaurant, we’ll continue our trip by visiting the Royal Canadian Mint*, which produces all of Canada’s coins that are currently in circulation. After that, we’ll cross the bridge to Gatineau and explore the Canadian Museum of Civilization*, admiring the spectacular view of the Parliament and cliffs across the Ottawa River. Our tour of the capital city ends at 5:30pm, and we’ll make our return to Montreal, arriving by 8:00pm in the evening.
