Our team of technology enthusiasts is passionate about providing the most easy-to-use website for booking tour packages online. At TakeTours, we love innovation, and we are committed to delivering the best online user experience to find and book the best value tours around the globe.

Our group of 50-100 employees is divided in four offices across USA, Asia, and Europe.

Our Founder

Xiangping Chen, aka Jimmy Chen, founded IvyMedia Corporation aka GotoBus.com in 2000 and TakeTours.com later in 2011. Before founding IvyMedia Corporation, he held various software development and management positions at PTC and SolidWorks. He was quite active in computer science research and his publications were well received in the Computer Aided Design research community.

Chen has a Ph.D. from Computer Science at Purdue University; as well as a Master's and Bachelor's Degree from Zhejiang University.
