Day 1: Calgary

Today we will meet in Calgary. Airport pickup service is available, please see "Departure and Return" for details. You can spend your rest time at leisure or join in our optional activities (only available for guests arrived before 12:00pm): Calgary City Tour (3 hrs), Heritage Park Tour (3.5 hrs), Crosslron Mills Outlets (5 hrs), Calgary Zoo.

    This fully enclosed shopping center is just outside of Calgary and the largest single-level shopping center in the province of Alberta, covering more than one million square feet.

Day 2: Calgary - Banff National Park - Banff Town(209 km)

We will visit Banff Sulphur Mountain, ride Gondola, appreciate Johnston Canyon, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and Hoodoos. Later we will visit Banff Town and spend the night there.

    Sulfur Mountain Gondola Ride

    This unique cable-car ride takes visitors to Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Atop the mountain there are many viewing areas, a long boardwalk, and two small museums.

    Johnston Creek

    Johnston Creek is the one of most famous sights in Banff National Park. Known for its walking trail throughout the year. *Free Crampon are provided for Winter itinerary

    Bow Falls

We will visit Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Ten Peaks Valley and pass Spiral Tunnel. Afterwards, we will arrive in Yoho National Park to visit Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge.

    Valley of the Ten Peaks

    A region located in Banff National Park, this area is so named because the ten summits of the mountain range in the distance are clearly visible. It is an open valley area that also includes Moraine Lake.

    Emerald Lake

    Natural Bridge

    The Kicking Horse River, a Canadian Heritage river, in the Yoho park, has created a natural bridge through solid rock. This formation is located 3 km west of Field, accessible from the road to Emerald Lake.

    Duration: Approx. 15 Minutes

Optional Activity - Bow River Horseback Ride:
This is an optional tour in the evening. Ride along the tranquil Bow River, an area home to wildlife in amongst the thick marshes and grassy meadows. And if you look up, you might spot an eagle or hawk soaring through the sky.

Tour start at 1730PM. Duration 1 hour.
Please note that tranfer back to Calgary is not included if this activity is taken place on the last day of your trip. Please confirm with Calgary Tours for the availability before booking this activity.

Optional Activity - Banff Photo + Wildlife Night Tour:
This itinerary is an optional tour in the evening. It will take you to the famous photography spots in Banff area. The journey start with the visit of wild animals. follow by the famous sunset of Vermillion Lake, and end with the beautiful view of Banff Town under the night sky. Experienced guides will share photography skills and provide assistance to help you leave beautiful memories.

Tour start half hour before sunet at Banff National Park. Duration: 2.5 - 3 hours; return to hotel after tour; return to banff hotel or Calgary after the tour. Please note that tour returns to Calgary around midnight.

*If not joining this activity, you will have free time at your leisure in the evening

Please also note the itinerary sequence listed above will be changed based on the actual arrival date. Some attractions will be replaced with others when they are closed for the seasonal reasons.
  • Airport Pickup: Free pickup from 10:00AM - 10:00PM every 2 hours (10:00/12:00/14:00/16:00/18:00/20:00/22:00). Please advise your pickup time in advance and meet the guide in yellow coat at Exit #7 Information Centre. Guests can also choose to take Shuttle Bus to hotel. Paid airport pickup: 1-4 passengers, C$60 each car; 5-10 passengers, C$150 each car (exclude tax, tips of C$5/person).
    If you do not need the pick-up service, please inform us one week before departure. If you do not provide the flight one week before departure, you will not need the pick-up service and shall go to the hotel by yourselves (we will provide a VOUCHER).
  • Airport Drop off: Please arrange your return flight after 9:30pm.

  • Changes to Reservations Policy:
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
    Cancellation and Refund Policy:
    TakeTours makes every effort to serve our customers better. We also advise all customers to purchase traveler's insurance in case of interruption, accidents, illness, or anything else that may come up. If a reservation has to be cancelled, customers will be charged a fee depending on how far from the departure date the cancellation takes place.
    31 or more days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount
    Within 30 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount
    Day of departure or no-show - 100% of total purchase amount
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
  • We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

Additional Note

  • Baggage Restrictions: one piece per person for each room and one piece for hand luggage. Extra per baggage will be charged C$25+5% per day.
  • Additional Service
    1. Additional city center hotel starting price at C$250 +5%tax (no breakfast, double room), no free shuttle bus (except for oil exhibition days and cowboy festival). Third/fourth person will be charged C$20+5%tax per person.
    2. Additional airport hotel C$130+5%tax (no breakfast, double room), free airport bus. If you leave immediately the next day, the tour guide will help CHECK IN and arrange SHUTTLE BUS time (except for oil exhibition and cowboy festival). Third/fourth person will be charged C$20+5%tax.
    3. The check-in time of hotel is 4:00 PM. Guests arriving in the morning are not guaranteed to check in.
  • Airport pickup day will not be guaranteed for the first 3 rows.
  • Itinerary order may change accoring to departure dates.

The Canada border is open to fully vaccinated Americans.
