Depart from Calgary, Canmore, or Banff and begin a breathtaking journey north along one of the world's most scenic mountain highways. Pause for a scenic photo stop at Crowfoot Glacier. Continue to Bow Lake. Guests may also step inside the historic Num-Ti-Jah Lodge. Travel onward to Peyto Lake. Enjoy a 30-minute stop to admire one of the Canadian Rockies’ most photographed viewpoints. Stop at Saskatchewan River Crossing for lunch. Guests may choose to enjoy a self-serve buffet or relax before continuing the journey north. Continue along the legendary Icefields Parkway (Highway 93),arrive at the Columbia Icefield, where guests may choose to embark on the optional Ice Explorer Snowcoach experience. Ride onto the ancient Athabasca Glacier, standing atop ice formed over millions of years for a truly unforgettable encounter with the Icefields. After a day immersed in alpine grandeur, relax on the return journey to Calgary, concluding a spectacular Rocky Mountains experience.

Bow Lake is a bright turquoise color which is due to the glacial runoff from Bow Glacier. Historical Simpson's Num-Ti-Jah is located on the shores of Bow Lake at the foot of Mount Jimmy Simpson.

Columbia Icefield, AB
The Columbia Icefield spans 200 square miles in the Canadian Rockies and feeds iconic glaciers like Athabasca Glacier. Enjoy a thrilling experience, including a Snow Coach ride onto the glacier and a walk on the glass-floored Skywalk, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views.
Ice Explorer will remain in operation through October 13. Subsequent itineraries include a stop here: in good weather, enjoy a 60-minute guided glacier foothill hike for close views; in poor conditions, view the glacier from a distance and visit Waterfowl Lake.

Visitors to Jasper National Park in Alberta can take this exciting ride across the ice field to the Athabasca Glacier. This is a great way to see the vast tundra of Jasper.

Icefields Parkway
A 230 km long scenic road that parallels the Continental Divide, traversing the rugged landscape of the Canadian Rockies, travelling through Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. It is named for features such as the Columbia Icefield, visible from the parkway. It links Lake Louise with Jasper to the north. At its southern end, the Icefields Parkway terminates at Highway 1.
Athabasca Glacier
The Athabasca Glacier is the most-visited glacier in North America. It is one of the eight major glaciers of the Columbia Icefield. The Icefield Interpretive Centre is next to the glacier, and is where visitors can arrange tours.

Additional Note
Optional Meal Plan: Due to the limited resources of the Rocky Mountain, the materials are prepared in advance, and it is not possible to temporarily change the meals. Please inform us at least 10 days in advance before your departure if you have a vegetarian requirement or dietary taboo on the F&B. If you proposes to change during the tour, we will try our best to coordinate, but we can't guarantee it. If there is any additional cost, it will be borne by the guests. Thank you for your cooperation.

Luggage Policy: Each guest is allowed 1 check-in bag (total dimensions must not exceed 62 inches), 1 carry-on, and 1 personal item. Extra luggage will not be allowed.
Confirmation
After the reservation information is submitted, you will immediately receive a receipt email for the reservation order. Within 72 hours of submission, you will receive an order status confirmation email. Please do not book a flight until you receive an order status confirmation email.
Redemption
After booking online, you will receive a "confirmation email" with complete instructions, including the local phone number of the destination. When you are sure, be sure to print this "confirmation email" and take it with you on your trip -- evidence that you have paid for it.
Terms & Condition
The following applies to order cancellations OR changes :
- reduce the number of participants for the same order
- cancel the entire order
- change of itinerary
- change different dates for the same trip
1. No refund will be made for any change or cancellation of the entire order or one or all of the activities, meals, tickets and accommodation within 72hours prior to the departure of the tour;
2. Charge 6% tour fee/ order/time 72hours or more before the tour (activities and catering are refundable)
3. Christmas, New Year, and holidays(Dec.16-Jan.02) are non-refundable and non-changeable once confirmed.
The following applies to order modification
- increase the number of participants in the trip (depending on the resource situation of the corresponding date of the trip)
- change the name of the person participating in the trip
1. No modification shall be made within 30 days before the tour
2. A service fee of 6% tour fee / single/trip will be charged for 72hours or more before the trip
3. If there is any upgrade hotels (Fairmont, etc.) in the booking, there will be non-refundable for any changes or cancellation for upgrade hotel option.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
If your itinerary includes shuttle service, please be sure to provide accurate flight information and arrive at the designated pick-up location in advance. The travel agency reserves the right to provide the second service or to charge $30 per person if there is an error in pick-up due to inaccurate information.
Visitors under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or above).
Please understand that complimentary items unavailable due to traffic, weather or other force majeure factors, or you cannot participate due to personal reasons, the fees will not be refunded.
We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance.
If you have special needs (such as bed, vegetarian, baby chair, etc.), please inform us at least 7 days before the trip, we will try to coordinate, but no guarantee.
If you need to leave the tour, please sign the confirmation of leaving the tour.

If the weather condition, war, general strikes, and other unforeseen circumstances interrupt the journey, our company reserves the right to rearrange the journey without refunding the tour fee.

The tour guide will arrange a designated meeting point and time to pick you up and continue with the main itinerary.
Yes the airport transfer will be provided on certain tours. Complimentary airport pickup at Calgary International Airport (YYC) is available at scheduled times. Hotel shuttle and pre-paid private car pickup options are also offered. Pickup method depends on flight arrival time. Final pickup details will be confirmed by SMS one day before departure. Additional fees may apply if incorrect or late flight information is provided.

Yes. Most multi-day tours offer an optional meal plan, which must be selected at checkout. Guests may choose their preferred main dish when booking. Participation in the meal plan is optional. Most multi-day tours include the breakfast.
