We took the 4-day tour. We had 3 tour guides which are all good. (Will, Kris, & Hansen. We checked in at Holiday Inn SanFo for the 1st & 2nd day & it was a home away from home but on the 3rd night we checked in at Merced Inn, & this inn is a mess. Hope you change this.
Overall, this trip was, actually, better than I would have expected. Booking the trip was extremely simple, and yet the coordination among the tour guides and those who work behind the scenes was incredible. Our schedule was packed and we still had some free time to do whatever we want to at night. Don't forget to take pictures!!! (The hotels weren't the best, but that's how they keep the tours inexpensive!)
