Itinerary
Depart New York south passing through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland before arriving directly to the nation's capital. We start with a visit to the world famous Arlington National cemetery where we can visit the Kennedy family gravesite, then it is on to Capitol Hill. See the Capitol, Senate and White House to understand the core of the US government. Continue to the Air and Space Museum before visiting the Lincoln, Washington Korea and Vietnam Memorials.Late Afternoon embark on a panoramic city tour before we depart north to New York for an early evening arrival.
At the end of the day, we will return to the departure point for dropoff. See "Depature and Return Details" for more information.
Washington, DC
The capital of the United States of America sits on the scenic Potomac River. Monuments, museums, and Americana characterize this historic city, which is located in the District of Columbia between the states of Maryland and Virginia.
Arlington National Cemetery
This military cemetery spans more than 600 acres in northern Virginia on the border with Washington, DC. It contains the graves of Presidents Taft and Kennedy as well as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
US Capitol

For every reservation there must be at least 1 person who is 18 years of age. Children under 2 years of age travel free of charge.
Child rates: Child rates apply to those who are 2-14 yrs old. Customers are welcome to use child safety seats on that have lap and/or shoulder belts/harnesses. Children sharing a room with 2 adult passengers pay the same price as a third or fourth adult.
Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. All tours can be confirmed within 1-2 business day.
You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.
All purchases will be confirmed within one business day after purchase.
Luggage is limited to one piece per person.
(Notification day and departure day are not counted) For all tours up to 3 days prior to departure no fees. Within 3 days of departure full cancellation penalty applies. Note:The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
All passengers are required to have proper identification when entering or leaving the United States. On tours traveling to Canada clients have the responsibility to make sure in advance that visa requirements are met.

The 1-Day tour was short but comprehensive and informative. I was with my family with high school kids from California and the kids enjoyed so much in all the places we visited too. I would highly recommend this tour. We didn't go to NASA but the kids enjoyed the Museum of Natural History. Wish we had so much time there.

The 1 Day DC tour was amazing. Our tour guide Carlos knew everything like history geography and the way he described each and every spot the whole tour went to next level amazing. I loved my 1 day tour. I also wanted to go inside capital building and have a tour inside. Timely completed and scene a lot of things.

I wanted to take my brother, who was visiting me for couple of days. With time limitations and with a wish to take him to important places in DC, I was hard pressed on time. This 1-day tour was perfect. We visited all the important places, the tour was informative, the guide was very friendly and gave historic info at all sites, the tour had nice breaks in between for rest room and food. I would recommend this tour to anyone, who is hard pressed with time and wants to visit DC in 1-day.
