    (Winter) New York - Secret Caverns - Niagara Falls/(Summer)New York - Watkins Glen - Corning - Niagara Falls (483 miles)

    Guests will be picked up in New Jersey and New York in the early morning. We will head north to Secret Caverns(winter)/Watkins Glen(summer) in upstate New York. We will then continue on to Niagara Falls, NY.

    Winter schedule (Nov-Apr): Today we will go to visit Secret Caverns. From there on, we will continue the trip to Niagara Falls, NY and see the Niagara Falls Illumination.†

    Summer (May-Oct): We will head north to the Watkins Glen State Park, NY. (Note: we charge $10/person for state park admission and bus parking.) (**We will visit Watkins Glen only when weather condition allows. In case of storm, we reserve the right to change or cancel the itinerary considering safety issues.) Next we will go to Corning Glass Museum - in western New York is dedicated to the history, art, and science behind glassmaking. From there on, we will continue the trip to Niagara Falls, NY and see the Niagara Falls Illumination.

    Today, we will continue our tour of the Niagara Falls area by taking the Hornblower Niagara Cruise, watching the informational IMAX Movie. After crossing the border to Canada through the Rainbow Bridge, we will ascend the Skylon Tower. Afterwards, we will depart for Toronto to visit the CN Tower. We will also have the option of taking a Mariposa Toronto Harbour Cruise. Later, we will have dinner in the historic Chinatown district.

      Rainbow Bridge

      The Rainbow Bridge across the Niagara River connects Niagara, Ontario to Niagara, New York. It is an international landmark and impressive architectural feat. In addition to private vehicles, pedestrians and bikes can cross the bridge for a small toll.

      Skylon Tower

      This observation tower on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls offers a bird's-eye views of one of the world's favorite natural wonders. The tower stands 520 feet from street level and 775 feet from the bottom of the falls.

Next we will go to Corning Glass Museum - in western New York is dedicated to the history, art, and science behind glassmaking.

    Summer schedule (April- Beginning of Nov): In the morning, we from Toronto head to the Thousand Islands to take a Cruise Tour of the area (closed on winter). As the name indicated, the Thousand Islands constitute an archipelago of 1,864 islands that straddles the Canada-U.S. border in the Saint Lawrence River as it emerges from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. In addition to taking in the scenery, passengers on boat tours can learn of the history of the region, which was once home to pirates and bootleggers, and enjoy views of some famous spots such as the Boldt Castle along the way. Also, we will see a "shortest international bridge in the world". Before back to New York, we will have a short stay at duty-free stores.

      Old Fort Niagara

      This impressive fort traces its colorful history back to 1678 and the establishment of the colony of New France in what would become the northeastern United States. This centuries-old building is a National Historic Landmark of the US.

      An international tourism destination situated between Canada and the United States along the St. Lawrence River. The region takes its name from the more than 1,000 islands that dot the lakes and rivers along this international waterway.

      • East Brunswick Drop-off: Passengers will be send to Manhattan - Chinatown (87 Bowery, New York) first and then transferred back to East Brunswick. Since the returning times for different tours vary, passengers who need to go back to East Brunswick have to patiently wait for the shuttle in the meeting point. (*Note: East Brunswick shuttle transfer only available for this location 6:30 AM & 7:00AM pick up passengers.)
    • For Brooklyn departures, the drop off location will be Chinatown - Manhattan at Bowery Street.

    • Hotel & Tour Guide Information: This information will be provided by the tour guide the night before departure between 7:00pm - 9:00pm EST via phone call or text message. If for any reason you do not receive the call or text, you should be at the pickup location at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
    • Tour route may be changed and reversed; you may contact the vendor 1-2 days prior departure to confirm final itinerary
    • Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
    • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
    • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

    Confirmation

    • Your ticket(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please allow up to 8 hours to receive the confirmation. Your booking will be processed as soon as possible.

    Redemption

    • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

    Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

    Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours

    (Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • 15-30 days or more prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    • 7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
