It was a good relaxing tour. Sean Sun is a good friendly guide. The only disappointment was since, it was Sunday, the shop at the Amish village was closed and we did not stop anywhere, at the Amish village. It was just a drive thru trip, disappointing me. They could have stopped somewhere, just for a breath of fresh air, scenic view and some pictures.I had taken this tour only for Amish village.
Tour guide Jason Zhou was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Meal times were a bit rushed (1 hour is not quite enough for an all you can eat dinner buffet + shopping for breakfast)
RedRoof motel smells like whore house.
Great DC tour, can probably skip Philly/Princeton tour. Amish tour is not bad, but skip that too, since this is a 40 ppl bus, hard to observe the Amish scenes on such bus.
I will still recommend this due to price and the responsible and friendly tour guide.
a lovely trip which takes you to beautiful attractions in Philadelphia and Washington.
Arnold was a very nice tour guide, kind and accommodating all the time with good knowledge about the sites.
I recommend this tour.
I recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Eric, was really interactive and engaging. He provided us with all the information in a fun and interesting manner. The tour itself is well planned and includes all the main attractions.
My Mom and I had a pretty good time on this tour. It was an enjoyable time to spend the weekend. Pros: Convenient as you don't have to drive. Henry was a nice guide. Amish visit was the best for us. Cons: too fast-paced, not enough time in Washington, Amish or Philly to walk around and take pictures. There was absolutely no free time to buy any souvenirs. Bathroom and food breaks were way too short. Iâd suggest getting rid of Princeton from this trip and dedicating more time at the other 3 locations, or make this a 3-day trip instead so people have more time to enjoy it. It seemed like we just zoomed quickly through everything.
Overall, a nice trip to take for a 2 day period. I saw a lot: from Philadelphia to Amish Country. After we were done in Pennsylvania, we headed to DC. You get to see the Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, etc.
My 3 kids and I went on the 2 day tour to Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Amish village. Our tour guide Michelle is very friendly and informative. She can translate into 2 different languages Mandarin and English. She is also very patient because my kids are very young. I would definitely recommend you taking tours with her. We also had a very good driver Mr. Dong.
I would definitely recommend this tour! Our tour guide taylor was very good and he knows a lot about US history. He kept us on schedule and we saw a lot in a short period of time. My 5 year old daughter was with me and enjoyed it as well. Our next tour will probably be tennessee!
I was very happy with the total experience. Accommodation and the guide were very helpful. All attractions were covered but we could have used little more time for some of them. I liked that they do take frequent restroom/food breaks.
Honestly I didn't expect a lot since the price is kind of cheap, but then all of my worried and doubt about the tour went away when we met our tour guide Zhang. She is very kind and professional. She arranged the trip very well, and took us to many beautiful and meaningful attractions where my family took a lot of photos and had so much fun. I would recommend TakeTour to all of my friends. It will save you time and money, but the enjoyable experience will never be less.
The tour guide is very informative and helped us a lot during the 2-day trip. All of the attractions in the trip are worth visiting and highly recommended. I love the fun experience riding on Double Decker in Philly as well as the impression left by the beautiful Capitol Hill. Thanks for giving my family such a unforgettable experience!!!
What a pleasant journey. We took the Washington DC tour this Friday. Eric is such a patient, humor and experienced tour guide and he just gave us one unforgettable and unique experience with his story telling and magic shows. We would
love to take his tour again and join his coworker tour as well. We are so lucky to have him.
Overall, Big Bus Tours seems to have the best, liveliest tour guides. Since they aren't driving, they can focus their attention on talking about history or giving tips about sightseeing in D.C. I was particularly impressed with one guide who described her favorite painting at the National Gallery of Art in such lavish detail . Before holiday This tour is thorough, dense and comfortable an ideal option for those who don't mind forking out a bit more to avoid tedious lines and waiting.
We paid $122 for 3 people, it's a really good price actually. Tickets for the attractions are not included tho, but even after we paid all the tickets, it's still cheap, worth it. Amish village is the best of this trip, really suggest everyone visit there.
Very good tour our tour guide Timo very good friendly and nice she give is very good experience of Washington when you mention Washington, DC, the first thing people think is: politics But DC is more than the federal government. it's cultural, creative, vibrant and fun. The city has so much to offer and it's at the top of its game. Michelin-starred masterpieces. Pre-Broadway premieres. Hands-on history. Find out what the District is really all about. Plan your next adventure and discover the real DC!
Henry our tour guide managed entire schedule very effectively. He gave all required information to us Hotel where we stayed was very good. Overall impressed with value of money delivered by TakeTours. Planning to book my next trip to tennessee through TakeTours only.
Paul our tour guide just remember her name she is the best so far. Not because she helped us and gave wonderful service but she also took perfect care of the old couple who were on the tour. Really nice person and calm as well. Really had a great time. Thank you!!
I took this trip with my family, and we all enjoyed it. this is like capital trip, Philadelphia and Washington are both capital as I learn from history book. I have been to Philadelphia few times before, but never got to know the city. The DD decker bus trip really educated me a lot. I like it.
I had only 3 days break, so I choose this trip to DC. I've always wanted to visit there. This trip is almost perfect for me, and I did enjoyed it. I recommend anyone who wants to have short vocation take this trip, especially you like the DC.
It is exciting to visit different places, especially Amish Farm House. As you travel, you will see beautiful sceneries typical of the region.Besides, you can meet and make friends with people of different colors and races. Finally, you can get to know the customs and living habits of the local people.
Traveling will not only help us to gain knowledge of geography and history and other knowledge, which will arouse our deeplove :for our m0therland,but also will help us keep healthy and make us less narrow-minded.Travel does benefit us both mentally and physically. What a wonderful trip!
The itinerary is well arranged. I have a safe travel from NYC to Washington, D.C. back to NYC. Sophie handles our tour the most efficient way I could imagine. Problems arise during our trip because of some uncontrollable behavior of the children and yet Sophie is trying to resolved with high level of professionalism and I admire it.
The tour really helps me in knowing more about United States and in every state we visited, we have a good story to tell. I will book with you again when I come back.
Highly Recommended. Itinerary was met and transportation was on point. Shout out to our tour guide Henry for being so professional and very accommodating. He definitely makes our trip worry free. Thanks again Henry.
By traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. We will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots. I really enjoyed this rest of trip and our cute tour guide.
If you are an American, you should make it a point to learn about your roots and history. This is on of those places that helps you to do that. The lines are generally very quick. The area is loaded with historical information and museums. The liberty Bell exhibit is great. There are a number of small exhibits related to free speech in our country.
I enjoy just being near Independence Park to feel connected to our historic past. At times, it makes me imagine walking along side some of our founding fathers during the signing of The Declaration of Independence. I can almost feel like being their along side them that historic day and moment.
Great tours. Short, but a nice to visit. Informative tour guides give brief history of philly, our country's independence and other things to see in the area. No handicap ramps available in most areas. Parking garages are close by that have daily rates and hourly rates. Some places have refreshments and bathrooms
I booked a two day Washington DC tour for my relatives last week mainly because there is a pick up location (E Hotel, Edison) near where we live. The main issue we had is we were not notified that return location is not the same as pick up location.
My relatives ended up taking taxi which took 45 minutes to get back home. Please be clear on your web that pick up location is different with drop off location.
I went on this trip with my girlfriend. We are both busy during the weeks and we can only take two days off in which this tour fits us perfectly. We had a great experience exploring the history of the U.S. I highly recommend this tour.
I had such a great experience. I like how this tour is designed to be short(2 days) for us to focus on traveling in Washington DC. The tour guide took us to signature attractions in Washington DC, introduced them well to us, and gave us enough time to take pictures. The hotel was nice and clean. Overall a great experience and totally worth the money.
I love this tour. The tour guide took us to the most common places in Washington DC and provided detailed explanations. The tour itinerary is well-organized and the tour guide is professional. Overall a 5-star tour. Highly recommended.
Good tourist guide; she explained the places very well and his English language was spectacular. The driver very bad, we were about to collide with barriers or with other vehicles on several occasions.
Went with 2 friends. Visit museums, Capital, White house, and Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Itinerary was little tight, but well planned. Our tour guide was very professional and helpful. If you haven't visit DC, this tour is great option.
Parents came over to visit me. I have long working hours, and didn't have enough time to spend with them, so I bought this trip for them. Tour guide took very good care of my parents. And my parents enjoyed the DC tour.
