Join us for one of Darwin's most iconic must-do activity... a half-day Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River.
Departing the city, we journey about 60km South East towards the Marrakai wetlands, home to not only an apex predator, the crocodile, but 117 different species of reptiles and 280 different types of birds. A truly exhilarating and unique experience for our guests to get up close and personal with some of nature's most aggressive and dangerous wildlife located in the naturally occurring waterways of the Northern Territory.
It is said that Australia's Top End hosts over 100,000 saltwater crocodiles predominantly in and around the Darwin, Adelaide River and Mary River areas. So there is no need to worry, you be sure to See the biggest reptile in the world and oldest creature to walk the planet since dinosaurs, these prehistoric beasts growing up to 6 meters in length (the size of a small bus) and can weigh up to 1000kg.
An infamous crocodile called "Sweetheart" was captured not too far from the Adelaide River after repeatedly chewing the motors off the back of fisherman's boats and stealing the farmer's cows. Sweetheart unfortunately passed away and can now be seen taxidermied in the Darwin Museum.
Our jumping crocodile cruise partners are highly trained to ensure the safety of both the crocodiles and passengers at all times. Crocodiles are fed buffalo meat so that guests can see first-hand the powerful and spectacular hunting techniques of a saltwater crocodile. All staff are issued with Wildlife Permits by National Parks and Wildlife for our interactions and no animals are harmed in any way during our wildlife interactions.

Itineraries may vary to adapt to seasonal changes and occasionally spots in the parks close or do not allow swimming.
A moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks.
Child policy 6 years old and over, not suitable for children 5 years old and under.
This terrain is not suitable for mobility impaired travellers, wheelchairs, walkers, prams or strollers.
Limited storage space on our vehicle, baggage kept to 1 x 5-7kg day bag per person.

Spend a fantastic morning fishing at our amazing half-day sites, followed by an additional three hours shared across three unique Top End pubs!

Seeing Kakadu from a helicopter is one of the best ways to experience its many magical attractions in just one day! Instead of spending 6 hours traveling by road, spend only 3 hours flying by helicopter, taking in many spectacular landscapes along the way - with various stops for photo opportunities.
Departing from Darwin, enjoy a scenic flight to Kakadu flying over the Adelaide River and its floodplains plus the Mary River National Park. Marvel at Kakadu's famous wetlands and gorges - including Ubirr.
The next stop is Jabiru. Here, enjoy a stop at Cooinda for lunch and a Yellow Water Cruise operated by Kakadu Tourism. The flight home includes views of the pristine wetlands of the Mary River and Corroboree Billabong.
Our full-day Helifish focuses on the abundant floodplains of the Daly River region as well as the coastal creeks, estuaries and striking red cliffs area of Anson Bay.
The scale and remoteness of these areas mean we rarely come across others and the fish stocks are consistently high with great variety. More of our customers have reeled in their bucket-list "metery" in this area than anywhere else we visit.
The scenic flying in this region is visually spectacular! We overfly extensive river systems, vast floodplains, wetlands, billabongs and long stretches of deserted white sandy beaches - and we can fish them all!
With approximately 2 hours of flight time and 6 hours of fishing, your day will certainly be one to remember!

45-minute scenic flight - Reef and Rainforest
This flight provides a further 15 minutes to enjoy the sights offered on the 30 minutes scenic including the spectacular city coastline to the Northern Beaches viewing the cliffs of Nightcliff and Casuarina Beach, as well as the pockets of monsoon forest and extensive mangroves. On a clear day, the coastline of Gunn Point with views of both the Vernon Islands and Melville Island in the distance.
60-minute scenic flight - Reef and Rainforest
Departing from Darwin, enjoy a special 60minute return scenic flight taking in the beauty of Litchfield's treasures: Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls, Sandy Creek Falls, Florence Falls and The Lost City! The return flight is also a treat. Take in the impressive sights of the Magnetic Termite Mounds and Darwin's main water supply, the Darwin River Dam, holding half the volume of Sydney Harbour.
