Day 1

After gathering in Zurich, we will follow the beautiful scenery of the Alps all the way to Wedges, and then boarding the gear train to Mount Rigi. On Mount Rigi, we will see the magnificent scenery of the Alps, 13 lakes and the breathtaking beauty of central Switzerland. In the afternoon, we will take a gear train to the town of Vitznau. Then we will take a cruise ship (about 1 hour) to Lucerne. We will visit Chapel Bridge, Lake Lucerne, Glacier Park and so on in the old city of Lucern. Finally, we will return to Zurich Bus Station to finish our journey.

Zurich, SWITZERLAND

Sitting on the northwestern tip of Lake Zurich, this city is the largest in Switzerland. The Bahnhofstrasse ("Station Street") is an important landmark as one of the world's most expensive shopping areas.

Fraumunster

This church in Zurich was built on the site of a former abbey for aristocratic women, which was founded in 853. The choir contains five windows designed by Marc Chagall in 1970.
Mount Rigi, SWITZERLAND

A mountain massif of the Alps, located in Central Switzerland. The whole massif is almost entirely surrounded by the water of three different water bodies: Lake Lucerne, Lake Zug and Lake Lauerz.
Vitznau, SWITZERLAND

A popular destination for tourism. It occupies a narrow strip between the lake and the Rigi looming behind; one of the mountain railways to the summit starts in Vitznau.
Engelberg, SWITZERLAND

Engelberg is a major mountain resort in Central Switzerland. In the Middle Ages, Engelberg was known for the educational quality of its Benedictine monastery, Engelberg Abbey. From the 19th Century onwards Engelberg became internationally known as a mountain resort, but it is today visited as much for skiing as for its Alpine character.
Lucerne, SWITZERLAND

This Swiss city on gorgeous Lake Lucerne is popular with tourists due to its amazing views of the lake, Mount Pilatus, and Mount Rigi of the Swiss Alps. Some of the buildings in Lucerne date back hundreds of years.

Chapel Bridge

This covered bridge that crosses the Reuss River in Lucerne is one of Switzerland's main tourist attractions. The interior of the bridge contains several paintings which were completed in the 17th century.

Lake Lucerne

This large, spindly lake in Switzerland is one of the top vacation spots for locals and tourists alike, and the shores are lined with many resorts and hotels. People come from far and wide for its uniqueness and beauty.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Please read the Cancellation and Refund Policy prior to booking your ticket.
No cancellation fee will be charged for more than 7 days before departure.
5-7 days before departure (including the seventh day) - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 4 days prior to departure (including the 4th day) - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

Prices may vary and are subject to availability by season, weekend, and/or holiday.

We reserve the right to modify the tour arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.

Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance is highly recommended.

Responsibility
: We are not responsible for any loss, injury, accident, damage, delay or loss incurred during travel.
passengers bear full responsibility for any changes in travel caused by delays, illness, weather, strikes, war, or quarantine.
We do not accept any responsibility for any illegal or irregular activity by our passengers. Any loss or expense is at the passenger's expense.
We are not responsible for the loss or theft of personal property of the passengers during the trip.

We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
