      Itinerary

      This beautiful excursion takes you through the delightful hills of the Chianti countryside with its ever-changing scenery alive with vineyards and olive trees.

      Upon arrival in Siena, you'll take a guided tour of the old city centre. Walk along the small medieval streets, admiring the splendid palaces. Ending up at the Cathedral, you'll tour its splendid interior including the Libreria Piccolomini and the adjacent Museo dellOpera Metropolitana. Your guided tour will conclude at the Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful in the world, where you'll find the Palazzo del Comune (exterior). Then you'll have free time for lunch (not included).

      Departure for San Gimignano a tiny city that has remained intact through the centuries situated on a hilltop, it's famous for its numerous towers, frescoes and other art treasures. You'll have free time to discover this fascinating city before returning. On the way back, admire the old medieval village of Monteriggioni enclosed by its famous walls, still intact.
