We met at Piazza San Lorenzo at 9:50am and easily spotted the assistant in the yellow jacket. The chef took us through the market to pick seasonal ingredients, then we cooked a four-course meal at the school. Lunch came with Tuscan wine and a relaxed vibe.

I cooked a full four-course Tuscan meal with a professional chef in Florence's old center, using seasonal organic ingredients. Dinner afterward was what we made ourselves, with Tuscan wine. It felt quite rewarding.

The city entrance fees and overnight taxes were collected up front, and the guide and driver service fee was paid separately on the road. It was all spelled out in the itinerary, so nothing caught me off guard.
