Day 1: Dublin

Today we will gather in Dublin. After checking in, guests are free to spend the rest of the day as they please.

Day 2: Dublin

Meet your Tour Director for an afternoon orientation, drive through statue-lined O'Connell Street, elegant Georgian squares with their tall red brick townhouses, colorful doors, and wrought-iron decorated windows. Visit Oscar Wilde's Trinity College and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Finally, guests are invited to an optional Irish cabaret evening including dinner, dance, song, and laughter.

    Ireland's most famous (and capital) city was originally a viking settlement. It is home to many landmarks and monument from across its colorful history, such as Dublin Castle, Trinity College, the Molly Malone statue, Mountjoy Square, and much more!

    The main street in the heart of Dublin, this street is lined by shops, cafes, and great architecture. The street is also home to many monuments, such as the Daniel O'Connell statue and the Parnell Monument.

    Trinity College

    This research university is the most prestigious in Ireland. Established in 1592, it now educates over 16,000 students. Famous graduates include Jonathan Swift, Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett, and Bram Stoker.

    St. Patrick's Cathedral

    St. Patrick's Cathedral
    The largest church in all of Ireland is the National Cathedral and Collegiate Church of Saint Patrick at Dublin. The spire at its top juts 140 feet into the sky. It was built at the end of the 12th century.

Day 3: Dublin - Ennis (311 km)

Head for dairy farm country in the center of the "Emerald Isle". Stop in Galway, a popular seaside destination and a buzzing cosmopolitan center with colorful shops and a busy cafe and bar culture. Then, cross the glacial-era limestone plateau of The Burren to visit the spectacular 668-foot Cliffs of Moher before heading for Ennis, county town of Clare. Tonight's optional opportunity: a medieval banquet at Knappogue Castle.

    This gorgeous Irish city is a quintessential example of the marriage between modern and historic. One of the most-loved tourist spots in the world, its sights include Lynch's Castle, St. Nicholas' Church, museums, theaters, and so much more.

    Lahinch is a small town on Liscannor Bay, on the northwest coast of County Clare, Ireland. The town is a seaside resort and is home to the Lahinch Golf Club. It has become a popular surfing location.

    Cliffs of Moher

    These amazing cliffs on the western side of Ireland attract 1 million visitors every year with their dramatic beauty. Jutting up to 700 feet out of the Atlantic Ocean, they allow visitors to see far up and down the coastline.

Day 4: Ennis - Killarney (149 km)

Stop for photos in Adare, one of Ireland's prettiest villages, beautifully set in woods along the Maigue River, and with thatched cottages lining its wide main street. In County Kerry, join the road known as the Ring of Kerry for a 100-mile coastal panoramic drive. Focus your camera on sparkling seascapes, mountains dotted with brightly colored farmhouses, winding lanes bordered with subtropical vegetation, and views of the Lakes of Killarney from Ladies View. Later, discover Killarney, a town full of history, heritage, and world-class hospitality. A special optional adventure awaits: take a horse-drawn jaunting car along the national park lakeshore for pictures of Ross Castle or you might like to join an optional pub tour.

    The Ring of Kerry is a 111-mile tourist drive through the county of Kerry in the Republic of Ireland. It passes by many sightseeing spots, such as the Muckross House, Killarney National Park, Torc Waterfall, and much more.

    This Irish castle was built in the late 1400s by the O'Donoghue clan. It sits on Lough Leane and is the center of much Irish folklore and legend. From the late 17th century until the 19th, it was a military barracks.

Day 5: Killarney - Blarney - Tramore (207 km)

In the morning we will head to Cork, IE to see the famous Blarney Stone. Here guests will have free time to explore the castle and shop for handmade goods. After lunch, we will make our way to Tramore.

Day 6: Tramore - Cardiff (276 km)

We will board a ferry that will take us across St. George's Channel to South Wales. Today our tour will take us to the Welsh capital of Cardiff, UK. Here, we will see the city's major sights: Cardiff Castle, Millenium Stadium, and Cathays Park.

    This centuries-old castle in the capital of Wales was built in the late eleventh century and has become a popular Welsh tourist attraction. In the mid-1800s, the interior of the castle was remodeled into a stunning examples of Gothic architecture.

    Cathays Park

    Cathays Park, also known as the Cardiff Civic Center, is the center of government in the Welsh capital city of Cardiff. In addition to historical and governmental buildings, there are two park, the Alexandria Gardens and the Gorsedd Gardens.

    Millennium Stadium

    Wales' national stadium in its capital of Cardiff is primarily used to host rugby matches for the national team, although it also does significant service as a soccer stadium. It is notable for having a fully retractable roof.

Day 7: Cardiff - Bath - Amesbury - London (246 km)

Today we will travel to the town of Bath, UK in England, home of the famous Roman Baths. From there, we will head into the English countryside to visit the iconic Stonehenge and its new-and-improved visitor's center and museum. We will drive east to London for the night.

    Roman Baths

Today is a free day in magnificent London, England. A tour guide is on hand to assist guests in setting up activities: take a panoramic tour of London’s landmarks, visit the Tower of London, or choose an excursion to Windsor Castle. Tonight, we recommend our optional Taste of London excursion with dinner, followed by a guided illumination cruise on the River Thames.

Redemption

  • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

  • PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
  • Prices: All vacation prices are based on rates (reflecting foreign exchange rates) known at the time of publication and expected to be in effect at the time of departure, and do not include airfare except where noted. Vacation prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Single room supplements and triple and quad room reductions are listed where applicable. Not all accommodation types are available on all vacations.
  • Standard Cancellation Fees escorted and independent vacations: (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    45 days prior to the commencement of services: $250 per person will be charged.
    45-22 days prior to commencement of services: 20% of total price* plus Travel Protection payments
    21-8 days prior to commencement of services: 30% of total price* plus Travel Protection payments
    7-1 days prior to commencement of services: 50% of total price* plus Travel Protection payments
    On departure day and later: 100% of total price* plus Travel Protection payments
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Reservation Changes: A fee of $50 per transaction will be charged for any alteration or revision made to a reservation. A change of traveler name, vacation date, or itinerary within final payment will be treated as a full cancellation and new reservation; vacation cancellation fees (as above) apply.
  • Contact Information: Passengers are responsible to ensure that operator Travel has the correctly spelled name, address, phone number, email and fax data for all passengers. Names printed on the invoice must exactly match the first and last name written in their passport (middle names or initials are not needed). Operator will not be responsible for passengers who do not receive documents due to inaccurate information.
  • Passports and Visas: Passengers are responsible for obtaining and paying for all visas and entry documents, for meeting all health and other requirements, and for any documents required by the laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the countries you will visit. Most countries require that the passport be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of your trip. It is recommended you have a minimum of three blank pages in your passport when traveling, as many countries require blank pages. Multiple-entry visas are required for some vacations. It is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements.
  • Baggage Allowance: Due to limited motorcoach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30"x21"x11" and weight not exceeding 50lbs (22kg). We regret that we are unable to accept a second suitcase or any luggage exceeding these limits on any vacation listed in this brochure.
  • Children: Travelers who are less than 18 years old on the departure date must be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the vacation. We do not accept children less than 8 years old.
  • Travel Protection (Insurance): Comprehensive trip insurance is highly recommended by operator.
  • Travelers with Disabilities: Tour participants requiring any form of assistance are required to notify operator in writing at the time of reservation, and must be accompanied by an individual responsible for providing those services. Tour managers, guides, drivers or other tour, hotel, ship personnel are not able to provide such assistance. Wheelchairs + Walkers: Due to physical constraints and space limitations, wheelchairs and walkers may not be taken aboard motor coaches and/or river cruise ships. Operator reserves the right to remove any person from a tour or cruise who has not provided the required notification, has not received written confirmation from operator, or does not comply with these regulations. All related expenses, including those to return home, will be borne by the passenger.
  • Hotel Accommodations: The accommodations listed in the brochure or on the Web site are intended to be used on all departures; however, if a change becomes necessary for any reason, including additional departures on the same date, the accommodations substituted will be equivalent to those shown. Every effort is made to reserve only twin-bedded rooms. Occasionally, some hotels will only provide double-bedded rooms. These rooms will be allocated to couples. Please note that accommodation check-in times vary worldwide.
  • Service Inquiries After the Vacation: Any complaint or claim involving the vacation services offered in this brochure or on the Web sites must be notified to the Company within 30 days of the tour completion, except where such time limitations are prohibited by law.
    As it is difficult and sometimes impossible to properly investigate a complaint if we are not advised of such complaint quickly, any compensation you may have been able to claim could be reduced or even forfeited if you do not follow the complaints procedure set out in this clause.
  • RESPONSIBILITY: Operator and its representatives abroad act only as independent contractors acting on behalf of neither the customer nor the suppliers and principals. All exchange orders, coupons, and tickets, whether paper or electronic, are issued subject to the terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodations, and other services are offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such documents shall be deemed to be consent to the further conditions. Operator does not own nor operate the hotels, motor coaches, airlines, cruise lines, or any other service providers which compose their tours, and will not be held responsible for changes and/or cancellations for any reason by airlines, hotels or cruise ships.
  • The Travel Agent and/or Tour Operator, shall not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity in any vehicle, or through the act of default of any company, or person engaged in conveying passengers, or of any hotel proprietor, personnel, servant or any other person otherwise in connection therewith. Operator shall not be held responsible for potential risks and hazards associated with travel to destinations included in this brochure, where injury, delay, or unanticipated events may occur.
