Child fare restriction: children under five years of age, not occupying a seat to the exclusion of others, and accompanied by an adult passenger will be transported free. Children age five to eleven will be transported at the child's fare.

Day 1

Today in Quebec City, a licensed tour guide will take us on a 45 minute walk through the Place Royale. Next, we will make our way to Montmorency Falls for a spectacular photo opportunity. Then, we will return to Old Quebec to see the city's most captivating attractions. After the tour, we can immerse ourselves in the Quartier Petit Champlain and enjoy three hours of free time to get lunch, shop, and explore this area.

Quebec City, QC

Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America. It was founded by Samuel de Champlain in 1608, and some of the architecture in Old Quebec dates back centuries. The Chateau Frontenac is the most famous landmark.

Historic District of Old Quebec

This UNESCO World Heritage Site traces its history to 1620 and the establishment of the Saint-Louis Fort. Old Quebec is known for its architecture and its value as a testament to the impact of colonization.

Montmorency Falls

The Montmorency Falls are 275-foot-high waterfall on the Montmorency River in Quebec, Canada, and mark the point at which that river drops off into the larger St. Lawrence. The area is very tourist-friendly and easily accessible.

Observatoire de la Capitale

On the top floor of the Edifice Marie-Guyart, a 31-story building in Quebec City, is the Observatoire de la Capitale. The Observatoire lets visitors look out on Quebec City from a height of 725 feet in the air.

Parliament Building

This impressive and breathtaking Second-Empire-style building is home to all of the governmental functions of Quebec. Construction on the imposing building took ten years beginning in 1877. The buildings is surrounded by statues of famous Quebecois.

Place Royale

Place Royale is a historic square located in the Lower Town area of Old Quebec. It was established as a trading post by Samuel de Champlain, the founder of Quebec City, and is now an important cultural site.

Departure time: 8:00am
For those not using the hotel pick up service, the departure point is 1001 Dorchester Square - please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the tour departure.
Free pickup service available from most hotels in Montreal. Exact pick-up time will be provided upon reconfirmation 24 hours prior to tour.
