First of all it was very good trip and tour guide was very cooperative. There were few problems on the very first day. The bus arrived 1.5 hour after the scheduled time on the scheduled venue which made us feel very annoying. Even at that time, they were saying that they may cancel the trip. But finally the bus came and our journey started. As we lost 1.5 hour waiting for the bus, tour operator shorten down the attraction visit timings, so we hardly could see the attractions on that day. Moreover the hotel booked was 40-50 miles away from city. Not sure why they did not book the hotel on time. So the first day of tour was not good. After that 2nd and 3rd day, we enjoyed a lot and we got ample time for attractions. For that we congratulate you people. You did a good job. We hope to meet you again.
It was my first trip to New York and the highlight of my stay there was the 3 day trip 17-19/02/2016 Niagara Falls Washington DC Tour. I recommend this tour as lots of beautiful sites to see and one get to travel from NY across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC, Philadelphia and back LA. The Tour Guide Mai Zhang was awesome covering both English and Mandarine languages, not forgetting the bus driver Hua. Thank you for a fantastic holiday in USA.
Everything was great. No need to enter every attraction that you may not want to see. It was selective. On the last day of the trip, the tour guide and the driver did not stop for breakfast so we had the breakfast at almost noon! What?!
Tour Guide - Stan is a young guide and does decent in terms of guiding us. Draw Back is not sharing enough information about each point. A major issue is they should repair the bus vocal audio.
Accommodation - Accommodation is awesome, but they cut off the complimentary breakfast, but never mind.
Transportation : The bus was not at all good. They should work on giving a good bus.
Itinerary : Itinerary was good within this short time frame, still believe could have given little extra time at some places.
We had a very fun and relaxed experience with this tour. Although the trip was rushed in some parts, we were given plenty of time to explore places of interest, like the National Mall and Glen Watkins. We would not have covered this many places in three days, so it was a plus for us. Our tour guide was Jason and he was very personable. It was just unfortunate that we had to leave Niagara early because one of our fellow passengers had to catch a flight that same day. We would love it if we had more time to spend at Niagara. Also, the long trips could've been more comfortable if the TV worked in the bus.
Tour guide thanks to Lenni and Jack. Excellent service. Accommodation : good and clean hotels. Transportation: Professional. Thanks Mr. Davis from Texas you are a gentleman. Itinerary: Always on time and tour guides are very responsible to have all people in the bus, in each stop before departure. Only one recommendation, get your food one stop before getting to Niagara Falls. That food court does not have good restaurants. Very expensive and the food is horrible.
Had good time during the 3 days and got to see some amazing attractions. For someone visiting on short a trip to the U.S., and don't have much time to plan by yourself, this is the best option. They took care of everything and are very friendly.
I took this trip to mainly see Niagara Falls, which turned out to be absolutely fantastic. However, the rest of the trip was just okay. The stop at the Secret Cavern was unnecessary, the food stops were too short and the boat ride in Washington was pointless. The tour guide, Leslie was okay, she explained things to a certain extent however I felt she could have had a nicer manner. Having took trips before the tour guides and bus driver were very friendly and worked for their tips, they did not. On the last day she came round the bus and demanded the service charge.... ridiculous to pay that amount of money to a guide who explained things briefly in mediocre English. As a teacher, i know the formation of Niagara Falls in depth... none of that was explained and what was explained was done so poorly.
Overall, the falls is an absolute must see. Would I do this tour again, no. Nor would I book with the company. The tour would need to be restructured to include attractions en route to the falls, not to drive miles in another direction from New York. If you want to do the falls, I would recommend doing so yourself and spend more time their, I did not like the constant rush of everything. I also got the cold from being on the bus with the air conditioning on high. I took a hoodie but it was still unpleasantly cold.
My family and I booked for a three day tour to Washington DC, Niagara and Philadelphia. Our tour guide was Matthew. He did his job well. He was detailed about the attractions and the places we passed by. He has a lot of patience with our time, always smiling and good customer service. We enjoyed it, and we were satisfied. The driver Jerry was a very courteous guy, like always saying good morning, having fun etc. One thing we didn't like that there was a surprise, the change of the bus. We didn't go to all the attractions as what were stated above, but it was fun! We went to Philadelphia: Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, Washington DC: White House, Lincoln Memorial. Niagara Falls: Whirlpool of Niagara, Siege of the Fort Niagara. We watched the show and it was boring! You could go around the area and take pictures or spend more time to eat dinner. Over-all the trip was full of excitement.
This is a fantastic trip to say the least. The trip is well planned and executed to cover beautiful Niagara falls, gorgeous Watkins Glen, superb Washington DC. The trip provides good accommodation. The trip is a bit rushed but is very good for tourists from outside the US.
We just came back from a Niagara 3-day trip. I have to say if you are a kind of tourist who don't mind having very limited time to spend on a tourist attraction you like, then you won't have any issues with this trip. However, I suggest you bring something to keep you busy on the bus because there is no entertainment, even with the presence of a built in TV monitors. By the way, I strongly recommend the management to try to play something on the TV monitors for your customers, even an old movie that everybody already watched, that is cheap and I know you guys can afford something like that for the bus. Overall, both tour guide and driver are accommodating and did their best for us to have a good time, but for me, I'll never do this again. Good luck!
Overall the tour was worth it for the price. A lot of time was spent on the bus, so do take note of that before you sign up for this. Our tour guide was Johnny Zhang, who guided us with his best throughout the 3 days, and it was reassuring knowing that he would be there to take care of us and our safety. He was very dedicated and that improved the tour experience.
We had an excellent 3-day trip, that we can never forget in our lifetime. Jasmine, our awesome tour guide, was very good at organizing, more than worth whatever we paid. Except for rushing in some places (they have to do it to cover all the places), TakeTours is very good!!!!!!!! I will definitely recommend this cheap and best option to all.
I had a good time and Niagara Falls was amazing. Please remember the following:
1. Always be on time to return to the bus from attractions.
2.Buy a 24 bottles of water pack, take with you
3.Make sure you bring enough money to take the tours you want to take
4. Bring money to pay a service fee at the end of the tour is $8.00 per person, my family we were three so we paid $72.00 dollars.
5. Be ready to be on the road for more than five hours sometimes, so you need to take the bathroom in everys service area that the bus stop and also every attraction.
6.Don't drink too much water so you don't need to use the bathroom because the bathroom in the bus is not for customers.
7.Don't do all attractions, some are not worth it. Like Secret Cavers and the Niagara Falls tour.
Hope this help you, thanks
I just finished our 3 day tour. Trip was okay but the travel
itself was very unpleasant. Though we told the driver and tour guide that the air conditioning was too much on the bus, they kept blasting it in full. We had some kids and elderly in the bus, their situation was miserable. From the evening until night it was felling like sitting in a freezer. Being summer time we didn't carry warm clothes, and had to suffer throughout the trip. Didn't get any help from both the driver or the tour guide. Very COLD experience
My tour guide, Mu and his assistant Alfred, were very attentive and friendly. I loved every part of this trip. The driver, Mr. Chow ,was also very nice and a great driver. I would definitely do another tour with them.
This is our third time with TakeTours. We are very happy with the itinerary and quality of tour packages of this 3 days tour package.
When you have limited time to see places, TakeTours is the most economical way.
The bus, as well as our driver were very good, and the driving was excellent.
Ruby was our tour guide and she organized our tour very well. We were given timely breaks and ensured we covered all places as per schedule.
I will definitely travel again with TakeTours.
Watkins Glen was a surprise part of our tour, this was the first time we were going to this place and it is a must visit if you love nature. You need to walk for about 2 miles in a narrow slippery downhill path, but it's worth the walk.
Great Experience!! I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone. The tour schedule is strictly followed to ensure that all the attractions are covered. Accommodations at both the places were excellent. Thank you!!
Our tour guide was Shaun. Very accomadative. The itinerary was well arranged . Times slots were kept as planned and strictly followed. The hotels provided at Niagara Falls and Maryland were very good, the rooms were quite huge. You really get very tired as we get up at 6:00AM and the get back to the hotel only at 10:00PM. It's fine as we get to see quite a lot. Every point of interest spent is 30 minutes maximum. The best tour ever I had and would recommend. I will surely plan another trip and another tour.
Wishing the whole team a very big thank you. Not to forget the driver of the bus was also quite good
Tana as a tour guide gave us a lot of help during the travel to New York-Washington DC-Niagara Falls-Boston. She was patient to answer our questions and borrowed a coffee machine to for when ours was broken in the hotel. We thank her for the kind service.
The 3 days tour is great. It is very hectic if you have kids, as the time for lunch or dinner is limited. The accommodation is great. Very limited food options for vegetarian (no meat people), so pack up your stuff. Overall, we recommend the trip. The tour guides Gary and Stanley were very helpful!!
This tour was a lot of fun. We got to see many places, my favorite being The Falls at night. We went in April and it was very cold and snowing so we didn't get to do The Maid of The Mist boat ride so I would recommend going during a warmer season. Overall it was a great trip and our tour guide Sonny was very nice and helpful.
The trip was good and the tour guide was very informative and polite and spoke good English.
The restroom in the bus did not work from the time we left for the tour. The flush was not working. So in case of emergency, it was very difficult and we had to wait for long to relieve ourselves.
My family and I did this tour together in late August. It had its ups and downs, but the overall experience was good. The tour is operated by a Chinese company, so most of the guides speak both languages. The morning pickup to start the tour was not properly organized and we ended up leaving a little late. The itinerary is very packed so you only have a limited time to see the different venues and get a proper meal for breakfast or lunch. Dinner is more tolerable. However, the meal places were mostly Chinese or fast food, so fill up on breakfast and walk with snacks if you don't prefer these options. The bus leaves the hotel around 7:00AM each morning and you are on the road until about 8:00PM in the night, so it becomes a bit hectic and tiring. The attractions are optional, however, there is nothing much to do if you don't go in- the bus does not always remain at the venue, so you would have to walk around on your own. Also, take note of the service fee of $8 per day which is additional to the fees already paid. This fee is for the tour guide. Overall though, I think it was a good experience and definitely worth the money!!!
We had an awesome time on this trip. Had to rush while viewing the places due to time constraint, but it was amazing covering 3 places in such a short span of time.
Watkins Park visit was one of the best experience, letting yourself into nature.
This was a great way to see the Washington DC monuments and the White House. Niagara Falls was fantastic. We also saw other places. This is a Chinese owned company, so the guide speaks Chinese first and then English. It didn't bother us. Christine was a great guide and Mr. Bin drove the bus well. The days were very long. The price was very good. Make sure you understand that the attractions are optional. Would recommend to all..Chinese or not!!
It was not that good in the first day, because the bus tire burst, so we were stuck in the middle of nowhere for almost 2.5 hours waiting for another bus to come. But the replacement bus was okay and the driver as well. Dingding, our tour guide, I think was quite rude in the first day of the tour maybe because of the stress she was under because of the burst tire incident. But she was okay the next 2 days.
Excellent tour, well-planned and organized. Our tour guide, Alex, was always polite and helpful- same with the driver. Great value for the money- hotels were great, went to a lot of places in a short period of time. The only thing I would recommend is for the tour/bus company to find a way to eliminate the smell in the bus caused by other tourists' body odor, probably post online or somewhere in the bus to encourage everyone to stay fresh and be mindful of their hygiene so as not to bother other people.
I was really skeptical about this tour and buying it online with my partner, but wow it really exceeded my exceptions! JEFFREY CHEN IS THE BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER! We were well taken care of and everything was safe. We stopped frequently for bathroom breaks. I would budget about $250 total for the entire trip. $132 + $70 for tours and events + $32 service fee(if 2 people)+ food and small souvenirs(at Niagara).
I had such a wonderful time! The hotels were actually really nice and were not sketchy at all. Note that almost 80-90% of the passengers are all foreign! I think it actually made it a lot better and genuine seeing all the tourist react. I am a native New Yorker and still enjoyed the trip! Nothing went bad. I would go on it again and probably bring my mom this time! Jeffrey also gave us post cards from Maid in the Mist and I thought that was adorable.
Lo recomiendo - The tour was generally good and cheap, you need more version in Spanish, because the language offers are much more expensive. In our case we had problems with the bus, the driver was inattentive and never had bathroom, it had not been cleaned before our arrival and odors were a problem at some point. Very good and very friendly accommodations guide but his English was not good. I recommend!
My parents who were visiting from India took this tour and really enjoyed it. The hotels were really great, and the itinerary was little hectic, but it's the best utilization of a three day tour. The overall cost is very good.
We took the tour from May 30 to June 1. The tour guide was named Jerry. He managed the whole group (for 50 people) perfectly. Even though he is Chinese, he treated us equally with all the other races. We had a great time! 10 Stars for Jerry..
This tour is much more fun and better organized than previous tours I had. The time allocated for the attractions was pretty reasonable. It is not too rushed and the tour guide is so bubbly and entertaining!
Great experience traveling with them!!
We took this trip in April 2014 and it was one of the better experiences we've ever had. We got the chance to see a lot in three days!! It is worth to go with them because they know where to go and how to do it.
Niagara Falls was excellent. We got rain that day, but we went to see Niagara Falls (get an umbrella you never know).
Old Fort Niagara was so pretty. The castle wasn't crowded and that meant we could see everything around and take beautiful pictures.
Watkins Glen, was not too bad. You can go to the museum if you want (Museum of Glass ). If not, just hang out around. There are a lot of things to see and explore. You will have fun. There was the opportunity to make your own glass. Of course, you have to paid and it takes about 40 minutes.
Washington DC was perfect. We saw the White House, Capitol, Memorial,
Madame Tussauds... it was worth !! In our case, we didn't go to the museum (we decide to spend time around the city for about an hour while the rest of the group was in the museum).
Philadelphia was quick to see but enough time as well. We saw the famous Liberty Bell and building.
Both hotels were worth the money. No problem. Nice, clean, and good bedrooms and bathrooms.
The guide, Evan, was a great guy. He knew every place and was really friendly.
The driver did a awesome job.
The food was okay. Mostly fast food but sometimes we ate in a free buffet!
Conclusion, we spent a lot of time on the bus, but is worth it!!! Go with somebody you love and you will enjoy it!!
We really enjoyed and by the way, we made a nice friends on the bus!
This trip was fantastic. It was a bit rushed, but we still got to see everything that we wanted to. I would totally recommend it to anyone on a budget and with limited time. The downside is that the tour guide tried to sell us on going to every tourist place that cost extra, for example, Madame Tussauds... I had no interest in this place. Also, the booking site says that the night time Niagara Falls viewing is included in your booking fee, and my tour guide tried to charge me $25 extra for this. I met a guy the next day who was on the sister bus with same tour operators, and none of them were charged for night time viewing so just look out for this...apart from that...so well worth doing and great value for money.
My sons and I took The Washington D.C./Niagara Falls 3 day tour September 23-25 2013, and it was one of the best trips I have ever been on. Our tour guide, Holly, was great and the bus driver was very safe and prompt. Everything was well planned. Thanks Holly!
Maraj Family,Trinidad & Tobago,
The tour is wonderful, well organised, and Lauri and Miller are very friendly. They gave enough time to visit all places. My only disappointment is about U.S. government shut down since we cannot view museums. Overall good tour.
Harry Sun was number 1 tour guide. A lot of time on the bus but we got to see most of our National Parks in a short amount of time period so it was worth it to get up early and go to bed later than usual.
A great tour especially if u have a tight schedule and would like to see lots of places in a minimum amount of time. Our tour guide Ruby was great, we would have loved to have spent some more time in Washington DC center but otherwise all was well organised and definitely worth the price, we had a wonderful time!
This tour was very good. Tour guide has covered the attractions in such a way that we got enough time for all the attractions and finished the tour on time.
The only thing I don't like about this tour was that in spite of Niagra falls nights view mentioned in the itinerary it was not covered. I even asked the tour guide for this but he didn't take any action towards this
We enjoyed this tour very much. Our tour guide Robert tried hard to keep things organized & get passengers to be punctual. Our driver Raymond did a great job. We had very nice weather, wonderful itineraries & exceptional value for this tour. The hotel (Comfort Inn for both days) was nice & clean; the staff in Virginia was very courteous & helpful.
Great trip!! Even though I had reservations making this trip on Labor day weekend (most busiest holiday in US) I did not have to face human or road traffic! So worth getting up early for. Our guide Alex Lou was simply amazing! Punctual, professional, friendly. Best history knowledge. Made sure we had good holiday! Amazing professional driver, Mr. Cooper (Driver). Just booked another west coast trip with this company again!
Superb... Best tour I ever had. Superb Hotel's to stay, Itinerary and transportation, everything was best.
Just one issue was tour did not cover good White House view... they just show's us back view that to for 5Min. nothing was visible.
Overall the tour was really great enjoyed everything about it. Alex the tour guide was really good friendly and always accommodating. Niagara falls was really amazing and so was 1000 islands. The hotels were great, Sleep inn-Niagara falls and The Clariot in Maryland. You spend a lot of time in the bus but that was expected. I would recommend this tour
- Covered all important tourist spots efficiently ( we had very little walking to do as they used to drop us nearby all spots )
- Tour guide very helpful
- Assigned seating in bus
- Food stops not Indian or vegetarian friendly (stopped at hibachi buffet for twice lunch/dinner ) you should definitely carry your own food
- Some spots like corning glass museum, red indian show & imax movie at niagara and thousand islands cruise totally not necessary in itinerary
Keep in mind - There is a $131 entrance fee per person on the trip apart from $132. Also $7 tip per day per person. But you have choice of staying back if you do not want to visit any spot.
Overall value for money.
In general the tour was very nice. The tour guide Ruby first gave me the wrong pickup and drop of locations then she does not explain things well. Please screen your tour guides so that non-Chinese tourist understand their English.
This trip is very good except the Bus itself and 2nd night near Baltimore. Tour Guide Enna really good, helpful & co-operative. 1st night stay was in 4star sheraton hotel in Niagra, but 2nd night was very bad. The hotel didnt have even drinking water, AC not in good condition, And the big problem was the Bus.Tyre burst on 2 days which lead unncessary delay. The Bus driver also was very good. So I recommend this trip, so much in just 3 days. Also I request the management to have better Bus for safe and reliable journey
Every hotel has breakfast starting 6 AM. but we were asked to leave the hotel at 545 AM. The bus than stopped at a gas station or place where there were not enough choices of breakfast. Why cant the tour operator negotiate the breakfast upfront and include it in the tour cost.
Overall it was a nice tour, Our tour guide Larry did a superb job and Bus operator Lanna did a fantastic job, both were amazing. The trip was a great experience thanks to you both. I highly recommend this cheap and best tour for every one. Once again big thanks to Lanna and Larry.
A very well organized tour specially if u have a tight schedule and would like to see lots of places in minimum possible time. Our guide Mr David (nickname DVD) was very knowledgeable and accommodative but had to emphasize alot on a rush due to tight timings for food rest. However, i would not recommend booking online as its expansive than getting it through the tour office in new york china town as being solo traveler i had to pay price for two persons and then unfortunately i missed the tour and got it re-schedule which costed additional $118 as penalty. Overall a nicely arranged tour with regard to transport, accommodation and guidance.
Awesome Trip/Tour. So much to see and do and not in a hurried manner - I was with my 5 yr old and he absolutely loved it and even asked tour guide Holly to teach him to say Hello in Mandarin. The Hotels were very nice and you just can't beat the price.
Loved this tour! The itinerary was superb and the price was great. We got lucky with the tour guide Alex Luo and the bus driver Tony Bush. Great time management, very respectful and fun to have around is how I can describe Alex. The tour was much more fun than I imagined because of Alex & Tony Bush. If you happen to take this tour, try to ask if you can get the one with Alex Luo. You won't be disappointed.
Thanks a lot Alex and Tony Bush. The trip was a great experience all thanks to you both!
It was a pleasure to travel on the east coast with such a great guide! I was in a group of 8 Romanian tourists and Kit Chow made our trip worth. He helped us unbend fast and he explained us in a very amusing but also professional way the story behind the atractions of the cities. The accommodation was more than we expected. If I could I would repeat that trip all over again!
I just get back from this tour! This is amazing! U can see the most famous east coast attractions from this tour and the price is less than other companies. We visited DC, the bolt castle in thousand island and also the breathtaking NF, the most exciting thing is taking the maid of mist, we got wet but couldn't stop laughing ! The tour guide is cute and nice , the bus is clean and new! The hotel is very comfortable with double bed, so u can share one room with your family members. I wish I can tell more people to join this priceless and wonderful trip !
It's a very nice tour. Less money can go to so many attractions. During this 3 days we went to the capital of Ameica, all the buildings there are very classical. The next day we went to Niagara Falls. It's really spectacular. and we were so close to Canada. We were so excited. The third day we went to thousand Islands. The Boldt Castle is so beautiful. The love story about it is also very romantic. I will never forget these three days.
i love this tour with my super nice tour guide elva, she is the best tour guide ever. she said her company has more than 40 years history in this traveling field, and her company sells service. i have to say i am totally agreed with her.the bus is clean and nice , she played very very nice movies during the tour we never get boring. i am from india, and she can speak indian too.
I really love this tour , i went to this tour last week, i love this e-world tours and the tour guide not only speak fluid english, but also super nice, cant wait to join other tours with e-world tours!
I join this tour last week, this is a really great tour. In three days, we already see Washington, Niagara Falls and thousand islands, three totally different view place. And our tour guide Brian is very nice, he do provide a good memory to me. Thank you so much.
All in all, the 3 Days tour was perfect. I ordered my tour on line, but the local tour guide from an Chinese company E-World tours was good because she introduced us a lot of knowledge about the attractions.
My tour of 2 Days Washington DC was really wonderful. And the tour guide from the E-World tours Company, she was very professional and sweety! So I strongly recommend you join the 2 Days Washington from the E-World tours.
I would recommend this tour if you want to see many places from the east coast in a short time. you really get to see a lot. also the price for the tour is very good and you have a tour guide to explain everything to you. so all in all this tour is very interesting and you see a lot of interesting places.
It was the most great experience! We take The tour as part of our honeymoon. The best part was Niagara Falls! The hotels were very comfortable. We would like to take another tour with e world tours again! The tour Guide Jason and The bus driver were perfect!
This is to give you feedback about Alex Luo my tour guide. My Tour date was- 05/24-05/26 #days and 2 nights tours of Niagara, Washington DC and Philadelphia. Alex was really very very good guide. He was able to coordinate everything well, starting from time spent, visiting points, Hotel, lunch and dinner places. He was excellent. I would like to congratulate him. Please pass my gratitude to Alex. Thanks, Indranil Gupta
Worth much more than the price being charged! Tour is well planned and organized. 1000 island boat cruise is vry nice, and no wait time, so that helps. Visit to Niagara park was well planned and fast entry to maid of mist helped get more time to roam around in park. we missed the imax theater and preferred to see the park. Corning museum is a bit of hurry, but you would get too see good enough portion. Washington on third day surprisingly very well covers all the key attractions. Did not expect to see all monuments and with sufficient time on hand. All in all great tour! Best if you dont want to drive or plan things on your own!
Morning boarding was not much of a hassle, but you should plan to reach at least 30 min before time to avoid confusion as there are many buses. Highly reccommended!
It was the most great experience! We take The tour as part of our honeymoon. The best part was Niagara Falls! The hotels were very comfortable. We would like to take another tour with TakeTours again! The tour Guide and The bus driver were perfect!
It is quite reasonable and I liked it.
Pros: cheap(?), fast view, perfect for the "Been there" philosofy, chinese organization with strict timming
Cons: cannot view anything in detail, everything in a rush, no wireless in the bus, service fee, atractions and meals not included in price. Only the two cruises have "complete use", museum entries are wasted as you have less than one hour to be in the museums, therefore you cannot see it all.
It is a very impressive and pleasant tirp. Beside the exciting views also the tour guid Kitekate is working very hard with passion. The speaker was broken just after half hour after start up, in the following 3 days he was repeating 6 times of introduction in the front/middle/rear of the bus in both English and Chinese. Holidy Inn Hotel is very nice and clean. Just the pick-up in Flushing is a bit mess, suggest to add clear signboard: whom to which bus at ammebly location. In summary it is a valued trip!
Tour is excellent and tour guide Kitkat is very friendly and helpful. Niagara falls and Washington DC are wonderful, but thousand islands was disappointing as all are private islands and we dont have access to them. There is no Wifi in bus which is very disappointing. Accommodation is very good and comfortable
As a whole the tour guide ms Jasmine and driver are excellent and most cooperative. There was a big confusion on picking up at Flushing. Someone came and asked to follow and don't worry which travel.I was waiting for paradise travel/Eworld Travel & Tour. No response from paradise travel numbers given on tickets. More time needed at DC and unnecessary waiting after visiting thousand Islands is to be avoided. Rest of the part of tour is excellent
this trip was for arranged for my parents who came from India. They said the whole trip was extremely fun, the guides were very helpful, and the timing was quite precise. The places were very beautiful. Only thing I would recommend is the movies on the bus. I would like if they showed English, so everyone would understand.
I traveled from Sep 1st till Sep 3rd, 2012. My exp was not bad but not best either, following are the positives and negatives of the tour as per my exp.
1. A good tour if you don't have time to plan lot of things.
2. Hotels provided were good(Days Inn in Maryland and Holiday Inn near Niagara).
3. Return on time.
1. The tour is too hectic, but I feel no one can do anything if you want to see lot of things in just 3 days.
2. Tour guide will rush you every where, some times it is very difficult to even order food as every one from the bus will order at subway/Macdy and you need to get the food in 20-30 mins, if your number doesn't come then you will have to get back to bus w/o food.
3. The tour guide didn't even wait for every(or even 50%) person to come out of the bus before she could move to the actual stop, she was always in hurry ..hurry and hurry.
But over all if you are traveling with your friends/family you would enjoy the trip... provided this is your first trip to Niagara/DC and you have that inner excitement to experience Niagara/DC...
The tour was excellent, the guide Kit (KitKat) tried to cover as much as he possibly could in the three days time. He also arranged a special night view trip of Niagara with an extra 15$. The hotels provided were very good for the money we pay for the tour. Overall its a cheap and excellent tour package, Kit and driver Kim make a great team together.
Tour was excellent. Accommodation was very luxurious for the amount we paid. We enjoyed the trip. We wish we were taken to Niagara at night to see the spectacular night view as promised in the trip catalog. Overall it was good.
One of the best tour packages, we saw a lot of great places within a short time and stayed at top grade hotels without any compromise. Our tour guide Fiona and the driver were a great team to be accompanied by! I'd recommend this tour to any one on a time crunch to visit the East Coast
The 3 day Niagra fall tour was great; we covered all the destinations. Thanks to our tour guide. We liked this tour very much. Thank you.
It would be great if you can include the Niagara night view also in this 3 day tour with some additional fees.
We had very good experience with take tours. They covered each place with sufficient time to enjoy at each of the place. Hotel accommodation was amazing.
Tour guide was knowledgeable person was very caring.
Overall I am satisfied with this tour.
The tour was great; we covered all the destinations on time. Niagara night view was awesome; we didn't expect this view as it was not in our itinerary.
Thanks to our tour guide MOH. We liked this tour very much.
Thank you so very much.
Tour guide was excellent. His name was Tommy. He very nice and patient compared to the driver. Well organized tour overall. For the price we paid, it was a worth every dollar. Thank you Tommy for your help and knowledge you shared.
Was awesome experience through out the trip. The hotels we're staying for the night were highly facilitated and awesome. Just make sure that the price is only for the bus and the hotel. You're responsible for the rest of the attractions throughout the trip.
This tour in all was good. It doesn't include night view of Niagara Falls which i think is only a miss. We were lucky to have a friend in Buffalo who took us along to Niagara to show us the night view. The day view however was better. Corning Glass museum to me doesn't looked me worth for. Washington was good and whoever has not been to Madame Tausad before, it will be a good experience. However it was not as large as it is in London. Overall i will recommend this tour in place of 2 days tour as you get chance to visit Washington as well.
Starting point was chaotic but we managed to get underway just a little behind time. First day a/c on the bus wasn't working so by afternoon was hot and uncomfortable. But tour guide did his best and arranged a replacement bus for day 2. Could have done without the Thousand Island tour, unprofessional shabby ferry boat. Other attractions were ok. Niagara was good, enough time given. Hotels surprisingly good. Be prepared for majority of Indian tourists. Chinese tour company. Alot of time on the bus but overall worth it.
Amazing tour!! Our tour guide Lyn (American of Chinese origin) is a great guy, very polite and competent...our tour was not boring even for a second - he sang, told us jokes, competently guided us through the history and facts, making all the stories much more interesting than they really are.. Niagara Falls are breath-taking! We should have stayed a bit longer in Washington DC, while we could have skipped Philly...it's just not that worth of seeing.. Chinese restaurants we stopped at for the lunch were great - with the prices up to 15 $, great variety of food and lots of interesting stuff for vegetarians (I am a vegetarian hence I speak from personal experience)... Highly recommended tour and great value for money!! Best regards for Lyn from the Serbian crew!
From the very beginning till the end,the tour was just awesome! The hotel rooms were excellent. The restaurants had great buffet with international cuisine.Mr Ning our tour guide was very friendly.Niagara falls was out of the world experience. We ceratinly enjoyed every bit of this professionally conducted tour !
As our tour guide (Ivy) said, this is "the toughest tour" offered, which is certainly true. ;-) We spent, for instance, nearly the entire first day on the bus - apart from an amazing 1 1/2 hours boat ride around the Thousand Islands. Sometimes I wished we could have stayed at the hotels (with swimming pools, etc.) longer, but then you wouldn't get to see so much.
Ivy is a very likeable and nice tour guide and made me feel really welcome, always offering to take a picture of me. Although I am a single traveller from Austria and don't speak Chinese, I never felt lonely and enjoyed meeting new people. As I had only a limited time available in the US, this trip was perfect - even though I am usually the kind of tourist who gets to know places by going there on my own, with a few friends, by strolling around, getting in contact with locals, seeing places "off the beaten track" - which are things you won't do on a guided tour like this, of course.
Enjoyed the tour, Niagara was wonderful. Reached hotel late night after 10 and started early morning before 6 AM which made it hectic. Places like Philly could be removed from the tour to make it more relaxed. An overall great tour.
The trip is wonderful with the nice guide. We enjoyed this tour better than our own tour by car to the same places in 2006. Shortly we are planning a trip with GotoBus for long weekend. Thank you for the arrangements. It was well worth the price
The trip was well planned, and the guide Gary was well knowledgeable about the trip and its specifics. He was thoughtful of the passengers needs. The Hotel accommodation was very nice. The only drawback is that enough time was not given at Philadelphia and Corning Museum (though the imporatant show in the glass museum was covered). All in all its a nice trip if you want a breeze trip with out getting burnt driving. I would recommend this trip.
This tour was great and exceeded my expectations. For the price, the hotel rooms were absolutely amazing- staying the first night in Days Inn in Washington D.C. and the second night at Sleep Inn in Amherst, N.Y. 30 minutes away from Niagara Falls.
Pros- price, great guide - Addie-WTG!, hotel rooms, overall value
Cons- option of food selection was very poor most of the time except for the Tyson Buffet which cost $15.00 per person for all you can eat (good deal).
One thing that I wished we would have spent more time on is the Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. 15 minutes was just not enough and did not allow us a chance to walk around the small lake to get closer to the Capitol building. We spent too much time in the Air & Space Museum, time which could have been better used for the Capitol Hill tour.
All in all, this was a great trip and we had a very good guide.
The trip was a wonderful experience. The tour guide was exceptional!! Well articulated, he explained everything in detail and was very helpful and responsible. We reached our destinations in a timely manner. Everyone that was a part of the tour were very friendly to one another. I would definitely do it all again SOON!!!
I have enjoyed the 3 days tour to 1000 Islands and Niagara was just breathtaking.Tour was conducted very professionally and in a friendly manner keeping all the interests of the tourists in mind. Thanks to GotoBus.
The tour was good, the accommodation provided was awesome. The only thing that I want to mention is that there should be pick up and drop off points at Jersey City because the Falls are on the way. Also the bus should stop at a location where there are some South Asian(Indian) food option available as many of the tourist on the bus are Indian.
The trip is wonderful with the escorted guide. We enjoyed this tour better than our own tour by car to the same places in 2006. Shortly we are planning a trip with GotoBus from Los Angeles. Thank you for the arrangements. It was well worth the price.
The tour was good ...but you have to be prepared that the whole tour is completely controlled by Bus driver..not the tour guide..they put in hotel at 10PM or even late and will ask you to start at 6:30AM. Also Washington DC was nothing they wont take you inside and not even closer to Capital Hill or White House they will show from the road and street..how they look like..Though we have nice tour guide Kim who is very smart and helpful..but was only controlled by driver Richard who is very rough and arrogant not even wishing any tourist..Moreove if you carrying kids be careful they can not cry in the Bus.
The tour was great, but we have to make some notices. The hotel in Washington DC (Frederick) wasn't good - it was the "DAYS INN". It was too dirty and too old. It needed some renovation. The breakfast could be included in the price. It was just 3$ per person per day and you could increase the tour price, so we would have a breakfast and at the 2nd day. Thank you very much for all. It was a great adventure.
