DAY3 Hoover Dam - Grand Canyon South Rim - Las Vegas (590 miles)
For our first tour option, we’ll make our way from Las Vegas to the Hoover Dam, a miracle of modern engineering built during the Great Depression to harness the mighty Colorado River for hydroelectric power and irrigation resources. While there, we’ll get a view of the world largest man-made lake in the world, Lake Mead, created when the dam was built. Next we’ll proceed to the spectacular
Grand Canyon, where we’ll make stops at various points along its South Rim for awe-inspiring views and plenty of photo opportunities. Afterwards, we’ll return to Las Vegas for an evening filled with excitement!
OR Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon West Rim & Skywalk Glass Bridge
Our alternate tour choice also includes a stop at the Hoover Dam, but takes us to an alternate area of the Grand Canyon known as the West Rim,** part of the Hualapai Indian Reservation (note additional fee in the Exclusions section below.) From this vantage point, you can experience the thrilling Skywalk Glass Bridge , whose unique engineering makes it seem like there is nothing between you and the yawning canyon floor nearly 5000 feet below. Or, you may prefer to experience a private helicopter ride*, which will take you farther out over the rocky maze and give you a true sense of the Canyon’s vast scope.

DAY4 Las Vegas - Los Angeles (265 miles)
From Las Vegas we travel to Los Angeles, the second largest city in the United States (second only to New York City) and home of Hollywood, making it one of the world’s greatest leaders of the entertainment business. After our arrival in the early afternoon, we will take a tour of the city including sights such as Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, which has been the site of three Academy Awards ceremonies and many film premieres, including that of George Lucas’ Star Wars trilogy. We will then move on to Kodak Theatre, permanent home of the Oscars and the television show American Idol, and other attractions. We will spend the night in Los Angeles.

DAY5 Universal Studios
Today we will visit Universal Studios Hollywood,** a theme park for the biggest film studio in the world. From the tram tour of the movie-making backlot, to the thrilling simulator rides like Jurassic Park and Revenge of the Mummy, and the T2 3-D: Battle Across Time (a sequel to Terminator II which features live actors interacting with a 3-D film), it promises to be an exciting and entertaining afternoon. We will also have the opportunity to experience a simulated earthquake, view awe-inspiring stunt demonstrations, and watch the live Waterworld show and Universal’s Animal Actors show.

DAY6 Disneyland OR California Adventure
Today you will have the choice of visiting one of two spectacular theme parks: Disneyland* or California Adventure.* At Disneyland, enjoy the fun and charm of Sleeping Beauty Castle and the It’s a Small World cruise marquee, feel the thrills at The Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain, and meet all of your favorite Disney characters at Mickey's Toontown. At night, we will enjoy the spectacular fireworks before returning to the hotel in Los Angeles. Or, if you want more a more thrilling edge to your fun, come with us to California Adventure! Here, visitors can scale a miniature mountain, brave whitewater rapids, explore a Hollywood back lot, and stroll along a beach boardwalk, all in one day! (Tour guide enters Disneyland only). If you are torn between the two, you can even decide to visit both for an optional additional fee.*
Or You can choose to visit the newly opened California Adventure. It's a real departure from the cartoon characters and fairytale fare that everyone's come to expect from the Mouse's empire, but that's part of its charm. Here, guests can scale a miniature mountain, brave whitewater rapids, explore a Hollywood backlot, and stroll a beach boardwalk in a single day. The park is smaller, hipper and slightly more grown-up than its legendary neighbor.

DAY7 Beverly Hills - Santa Monica - Olvera Street - Chinatown - Bay Area (381 miles)
Pass by UCLA, the famous Ivy League School in Southern California, and then enter Beverly Hills through Sunset Blvd. Visit Rodeo Drive and Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, the filming locations in the movie Pretty Woman. Stop by the famous Santa Monica beach and pier. Stroll down Olvera Street, located in the oldest part of Los Angeles, depicted by the quaintness of Mexican culture. Visit the Avila Adobe, the oldest standing residence in Los Angeles that was built in 1818. Walk into the Mexican-style marketplace filled with various leather goods, and arts and crafts made in Mexico, as if you were in a traditional Mexican town. Visit Chinatown and be enchanted by the ancient-looking gateways before heading back to the San Francisco.
