Day 1: Calgary

Upon arrival in Calgary, we will be picked up at the airport and then transferred to the hotel. We can enjoy our free time leisurely for the rest day. Guests who arrive before 12:00pm can choose to take one of the following optional activities:

    CrossIron Mills Outlet

    This fully enclosed shopping center is just outside of Calgary and the largest single-level shopping center in the province of Alberta, covering more than one million square feet.

    CF Chinook Centre

    It is the largest mall in Calgary, with 1,355,000 square feet (125,900 m2) of space. CF Chinook Centre is home to five major department stores (only two are in operation while the third being redeveloped), 250 stores, and several full service restaurants. It also had a 900-seat food court with 36 food vendors, a bowling alley, professional tower, and the Scotiabank Theatre Chinook.

    Heritage Park Historical Village

    A historical park in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. As Canada's largest living history museum, it is one of the city's most visited tourist attractions. Exhibits span Western Canadian history from the 1860s to the 1950s.

Day 2: Calgary-Banff National Park-Yoho National Park-Banff (288 km)

Today we will drive along the No.1 Highway and head to the Lake Louise. We can get a far view of the Castle Mountain on the half way. Then we will continue to Moraine Lake, see Ten Peaks Valleyl. After Lunch, we will take Lake Louise Gondola at  Lake Louise Ski Resort. The mountainous scenery here is immaculate. Pass by Spiral Tunnel, Next stop is Emerald Lake. Stop at the Natural Bridge along the way and admire the Kicking Horse River as it carves a path through ancient rock. You can hear the roar of the disappearing water churning and ejecting beneath the bridge to further reinforce the move in making this a legitimate waterfall.

    Valley of the Ten Peaks

    A region located in Banff National Park, this area is so named because the ten summits of the mountain range in the distance are clearly visible. It is an open valley area that also includes Moraine Lake.

    Emerald Lake

    The Kicking Horse River, a Canadian Heritage river, in the Yoho park, has created a natural bridge through solid rock. This formation is located 3 km west of Field, accessible from the road to Emerald Lake.

Day 3: Banff-Banff National Park-Jasper National Park (249 km)

Today we'll visit Cave and Basin National Historic Site first. After the tour, 3hr self-guided tour at Banff Town (tour time: 210 minutes), you may roam on the street, walk into any boutique store, you can find local souvenirs.

Recommendation for your free time:

  • 1. Banff Gondola (additional charge),You can enjoy a brunch at the top of Sulphur Mountain, the highest restaurant in North American;
  • 2. to participate in the Minnewanka Lake Cruise (additional charge)(tour time: 90 minutes) or the walking trail around the lake where the Hollywood movie "The Revenant" was filmed here.
  • 3. Banff Rafting (additional charge),You can enjoy relax floating on Bow revier;

Then Say goodbye to Banff and begin another journey in Jasper National Park. Along the way you will see Crowfoot Glacier. Stop by Bow Lake wehere we'll visit the Historical Simpson's Num-Ti-Jah. Joining Banff with Jasper National Park is one of the most scenic highways in the world.The famous Icefields Parkway has been voted one of the most scenic highways in the world by National Geographic magazine. Along the way, stop at Peyto Lake for its beautiful shape like a Maple.

    Icefields Parkway

    A 230 km long scenic road that parallels the Continental Divide, traversing the rugged landscape of the Canadian Rockies, travelling through Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. It is named for features such as the Columbia Icefield, visible from the parkway. It links Lake Louise with Jasper to the north. At its southern end, the Icefields Parkway terminates at Highway 1.

Day 4: Jasper National Park

The second half of the Icefield parkway surrounding by glacier and forest, enjoys vertical view of the vertical changes in the northern temperate zone. Along this way, you'll see Athabasca Falls and Sunwapta Falls. Head to Maligne Lake, the largest in the Rocky Mountains, where there is the most famous Elf Island in the world. Discover the world-famous Spirit Island only accessible by boat, on a cruise that has been running for over 60 years in Jasper. Then explore Maligne Canyon, located 1.8 km past the Jasper exit.

    Athabasca Falls

    A powerful, picturesque waterfall, Athabasca Falls is not known so much for the height of the falls (23 metres), as it is known for its force due to the large quantity of water falling into the gorge.

    Sunwapta Falls

    The falls are accessible via a 600 metres access road off the Icefields Parkway, which connects Jasper and Banff National Parks. It has a drop of about 18.5 metres and is most spectacular in the late spring.There are two falls, a lower and an upper one. The one most people see is the upper falls, as access is easier.

    Maligne Lake

    This amazing lake and the scenery surrounding it is one of the most-photographed areas in the world. It is beloved for its crystalline waters, the surrounding mountains, and Spirit Island. The area is home to many animals, including caribou.

    Cruise down the lovely Maligne Lake to small Spirit Island, the landmark at which you will turn around to return to your starting point.

    Maligne Canyon

    Maligne Canyon is a natural feature located in the Jasper National Park near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres (160 ft) deep. Popular for sightseeing and exploration, the area contains waterfalls, stream outlets, birds and plant life.

Day 5: Jasper-Jasper National Park-Calgary (313 km)

Depart from Jasper Hotel. First, visit one of the photographer's favorite shooting location, Pyramid Lake. Afterwards, done south to Icefield parkway, you might lucky enough to see the wildlife.
Columbia Icefield is the largest ancient icefield in the Canadian Rockies. A ride on the Ice Explorer to explore Athabasca Glacier. Discover a different perspective of the remarkable scenery as you peer into what seems like the heart of the planet through a glass-bottomed Skywalk. Along the way you will see Crowfoot Glacier before back to Calgary.

  • Optional Meal Plan: Due to the limited resources of the Rocky Mountain, the materials are prepared in advance, and it is not possible to temporarily change the meals. Please inform us at least 7 days in advance before your departure if you have a vegetarian requirement or dietary taboo on the F&B. If you are late or miss the transportation we have provided, you are responsible (at your own expense) to meet the group at the next designated meeting location.

Confirmation

  • After the reservation information is submitted, you will immediately receive a receipt email for the reservation order. Within 72 hours of submission, you will receive an order status confirmation email. Please do not book a flight until you receive an order status confirmation email.

Redemption

  • After booking online, you will receive a "confirmation email" with complete instructions, including the local phone number of the destination. When you are sure, be sure to print this "confirmation email" and take it with you on your trip -- evidence that you have paid for it.

Terms & Condition

  • Order cancellation:
    • No refund will be made 15 days before the tour.
    • 16-30 days: 75% of the tour fee will be charged
    • 31-45 days: 50% of the tour fee will be charged
    • 46 days or more: a $50 dollar services fee will be applied.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Order modification:
    • Increasing the number of people attending the trip (depending on the availability of resources for the date of the trip)
    • No changes can be made seven days before the tour
    • No modification shall be made within 30 days before the mission; A service charge of C$50/ single/trip will be charged for 31 days or more prior to tour departure
    • When the order is revised and the resource situation changes, additional fees will be charged according to the actual situation.
    • Bank wire transfer fees or credit card fees will be deducted from the refund together with cancellation or modification fees for any reason.
    • Any changes or cancellations must be made by contacting the company directly in writing via email or fax.
    • Cancellations and refunds will be processed within 1-7 working days.
  • In case of force majeure including but not limited to weather, traffic accidents, etc. our company has the right to modify or cancel the itinerary.
  • We are not responsible for any transportation cancellations or delays, climate change, or any other travel safety issues within the trip that are caused by circumstances not under our company's control.
