Very nice tour, very well planned. Alex picked us and left us at the hotel. He is very kind and communicative. We really recommend it.
100% Delivered as Promised & Chris made it fun
Chris, our guide for the day had the clean & comfortable van ready and waiting even before the 7:00 a.m. pickup time at our hotel, precisely as promised in emails confirming tour details. By 8:00 am, all eleven participants had been collected from five different hotels. Our one-day round trip from Las Vegas would”and did”treat us to five highlights of the largest U.S. National Park outside of Alaska.
From 282+ feet below sea level in Badwater Basin to a mile above sea level at Dantes View, Chris clued us in to the survival mechanisms of the roadside plants, the human history and geology of one of the hottest places in the world.
We walked on salt flats and learned that some of the rangers vehicles have Kevlar tires to avoid flats in desolate places. We tried to stop other tourists from feeding a begging young coyotand vowed to stop ourselves from such behavior in future.
Chris conversational style fostered congeniality in our diverse group of about half European, half USA individuals. The pace was never rushed, we had time to buy coffee or snacks at the rest stops on the way out (and back) in Pahrump. Water bottles were plentiful and accessible under our seats, box lunches were thoughtfully packed and good. The Furnace Creek Visitor Center where we lunched had picnic tables outside in the sun and clean facilities inside. Furnace Creek holds the record for hottest place on earth.
In sum, a hugely informative, laid-back and accommodating tour. This company gets a 100% rating from my husband and myself for introducing us to Death Valley and making us want to return.
Amazing Trip
Had a wonderful day learning about the history and geology of the area and seeing the incredible scenery. My husband isn't really into bus tours but enjoyed the small-group atmosphere. Our driver was great and we have passed on our thoughts about the trip to the travel company that organized it.
Fascinating views!
This tour was an exceptional opportunity to see stark contrasts and colors and was a wonderful break from the Las Vegas strip of hotels, bars and casinos. We were picked up at our hotel, given snacks and a surprisingly good lunch. Joe was our tour guide and he was friendly and accommodating. We had plenty of opportunity to walk around and take pictures before heading off to our next stop. It was a day well spent!
"Lots of great information and impressions in Death Valley"
Booking the tour was completely easy. In several emails in advance the pick up at the hotel was confirmed. On time at 7 o'clock Evan, the guide, stood in front of the door. Altogether we were 9 people and already on the 2 hour drive to the National Park Evan told us many interesting stories about Las Vegas, the surrounding area, the history of the National Park and Death Valley. After a coffee stop in Pahrump it went in Death Valley to several impressive points. Evan had umbrellas for sun protection and left us plenty of time for photos and enjoyment at all stop points. There was a really delicious lunch snack (sandwich, fruit, sweets) and constantly water on request. Evan always cared for our safety and shared many personal stories. At 18 o'clock we landed again with many impressions in our hotel. Evan all the best for you and good luck with your ideas for South Africa, Vietnam and South Korea .... Best Regards Marco
Wonderful experience: Evan makes the trip really interesting with splendid introduction and stories. His English is really foreigner-friendly and is always passionate. Really unforgettable trip! Strongly recommended to everyone!
A starkly harsh yet beautiful wonderland
Had gone here because I heard it was used for the filming of Star Wars. The views were exquisite to say the least, because geological rainbows and salt crystallisations were abound. This place is a miracle of nature. Worth the day's visit. Coming in October was perfect as it wasn't too hot either.
Loved it
Did the 1 day Death Valley tour out of Vegas. Picked us up at the scheduled time at out hotel. New, comfortable van. Evan was our guide. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Saw all the famous views plus a stop at 20 Mule Canyon. It's in the Badlands and offers breathtaking views of nearly white rocks. Great box lunch too. From pick up to drop off the tour was a little over 10 hours.
Great day trip!!
My husband and I love to take day trips out of Las Vegas when visiting there. We were very interested to see Death Valley. I would highly recommend this tour. Evan was a fantastic tour guide and driver. He kept us very entertained with his historical story-telling. He was extremely knowledgeable about the terrain as well as the history of the area from Las Vegas to Death Valley National Park. The transportation was very comfortable as well. Definitely worth it!! Enjoy!
Awesome tours by a professional operator
We participated in the death valley tour and a 3 days National Park tour. We found them to be professional and reliable. Our guides were good drivers and knew the places well providing good information and tips for the trails or paths we can do while we are at each of the national park and also places we can eat at. The vehicles used for these tours are new and clean. Especially love that the tours have small groups and the participants are all nice and considerate people who stuck to the guide's plan. If you don't plan to drive yourself and wish to meet like-minded people while visiting the magnificent places, this tour company is definitely a good option.
Outstanding tour
Having been on several tours on my visit to the US I have no hesitation in saying this tour was head and shoulders above the rest.
Leading up to the tour I was kept fully informed of all necessary details and was met on the day (15th sept)by our bubbly tour guide. I’m afraid her name escapes me (I blame the heat and my age)
She was very knowledgable and informative and I don’t think I’m wrong in saying she seemed to enjoy the trip as much as we did, loads of enthusiasm. ( and great tunes played on the journey)
Stopping at all the most interesting points in the valley our well-being was well catered for with suitable advice around hydration and those sharp salty rocks. The small party of fellow travellers also works well and we were all got on famously.
I hope to return and go with this tour company again maybe for a longer tour next time.
Full day of learning in the desert!
We were greeted by Alex at our hotel in a small van and a small group of other travellers. Alex was very informative and patient responding to numerous questions by us all throughout the day. Death Valley is a wonderful, majestic expanse of land and Alex drove us through various places within the valley to show of as much as possible. We were supplied with a picnic lunch in the middle of the day before continuing on for a few more spots before being delivered back to our hotel later in the day.
Amazing tour guide Khriss
We just have had, a wonderful experience. The guide Khriss was the best guide we have ever experience. So well informt, and a fantastic personality!
GREAT VISIT TO DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
I went to Death Valley National Park on Friday, July 5, 2019. The tour was very good. Tour Guide/Driver was Alex, who did a great job. He was friendly and professional. He went out of his way to ask me if I wanted my picture taken, since I was traveling solo. Also Cindy in the office did a great job.
Death Valley tour
This was our second tour with the operator and we were again really impresses. Pickups and drop offs were prompt and the guide easy to connect with and very knowledgeable. It’s a great day out on this tour and not as taxing as u may think especially given the heat in the valley.
Death Valley Tour-Small Group tour of June, 2019. We had Marie as our guide. I just wanted to let you know she sets the bar for tour guides. She explained the geology of the area, and the history of the area. She was very articulate and had a lot of experience dealing with people. The trip itself, was amazing and breathtaking. We would recommend it to friends and family. This was a truly great experience, one we will not soon forget. Again, a big thank you to Marie and we wish the tour company and Marie the best.
Very nice group tour to Death Valley covers all the highlights (Dante’s View, Furnace Creek, Zabriskie Point, The Artist’s Palette). Lunch and water is provided. Tour guide Chris was very informative and helpful. I had a great day!
Great tour of Death Valley
Our guide, John, picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Death Valley. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of both Las Vegas and Death Valley as well as the geological background of how Death Valley was (and continues to be) formed. I was with my grandson and while we had rented a car, we could have never seen everything we saw on this trip on our own. While I was curious about Death Valley, I had to idea how vast it is and how beautiful. Would highly recommend to anyone.
I highly recommend this tour company and their extremely professional, fun and enthusiastic guides. I took an amazing 3 day trip with Chris to Zion, Bryce, Monument Valley and the Grand Canon. We had such fun and laughs (and there are some surprises along the way!). Accommodation in the hotels was great and comfortable, lunches provided were also great. The trip overall was first class, much more than I expected. Thanks Chris. I also took the day trip to Death Valley with Marie and again was rewarded with the same enthusiasm, professionalism and a great day out. Thanks guys for making this such a memorable trip within a trip for us

A rapid winter tour of the SW parks and day trips out of LV
We were limited in time and wanted to see some of the great SW Parks. The 3 day trip was ideal as it started and finished in Las Vegas. There was a lot of driving to fit it all in but we did see all that we wanted.
We also went on two day trips out of LV - Death Valley and Ghost Towns. I enjoyed the Death Valley more that the ghost towns as the latter were so full of tourists and commercialized that they were not Ghostly at all.
The tour company was well organised and professional. The guide (Joel) was excellent.
We enjoyed every aspect of the tour
Unforgettable views and experiences in this extreme environment. Evan was great at telling informative stories, too.
Had a fantastic experience traveling on the small-group day trip to Death Valley April 14. The guide, Evan, was knowledgeable, professional, and ensured we stayed safe, entertained, and hydrated.
We got to see gorgeous views of the valley from Dante's pass, Furnace Creek, 20 mule canyon, Badwater basin, and (my favorite) the Devil's Golf Course. Who would have thought salt crystals could be so menacing?
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity, and the chance to brag about standing at the lowest elevation point in the Western Hemisphere.
Death Valley day trip is the second trip we went on within a week after the three-day national parks tour. My daughter was excited to meet her buddy again from the prior tour:-) Our guide Evan D is extremely knowledgeable. The ride was a lot of fun with his lively comments and stories. Death Valley NP is huge and views are stunning. From Dante's View to Badwater Basin, we saw alot more, it was a very fulfilling experience for the first-timer.

BEST DEATH VALLEY TOUR FROM LAS VEGAS. Great Tour Guider has great stories about the Death Valley. I really like these attractive stories and helped us understand the destination pretty well.
Must see! I went on this tour two weeks ago and I am very satisfied. Joel Clark is a great guide who always has a story to tell. We were not bored during any part of the trip. I highly appreciated his kindness and professionalism. If you are looking for a tour where everything is already planned for you, do not hesitate to book.
Great Day In the Valley! Booked this small group tour via Viator and had good communication with company on the lead up to the day of the tour. We were going to Death Valley on a Friday at the end of October, so the weather was cooler at the higher altitude but still very hot in in Death Valley. The commentary from our guide was fantastic and he was very knowledgeable on the national park and Las Vegas. The trip was comfortable, we had comfort breaks in Pahrump both ways, and there was a packed lunch and plenty of cold water. It was a nice group, not the most chatty but we had a few language barriers to overcome (French, German, Spanish). The trip overall was well organised and the national park is stunning. Would have no hesitation recommending this company for your trip!
Best Death Valley from Las Vegas. Very rich day of teaching ... A landscape of another world .. Beautiful colors and a very attentive guide ... Very nice. Highly recommended.
Fantastic Day trip, No Hesitation in Recommending. We were picked up at our hotel (Luxor) around 8:15am and set off to Death Valley National Park with our knowledgeable driver/guide Chris. It was a brilliant way to see some of the magnificent sights, about 8 people in the comfortable small bus. The food was good, the company was great and the photos we were able to take are incredible.
Must See From Las Vegas. I would highly recommend visiting Death Valley with this tour group. I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel The Delano. I was on the fence about visiting Death Valley but I was very glad to have visited it. It is definitely a must see! So many interesting landscapes and geological formations. I booked this tour through Viator. My recommendation would be to provide a breakfast snack. Note that lunch was provided. I would also have liked a little more time at lunch to see the movie that was shown at the visitors center.
Amazing Experience! We did a Tour to Death Valley with Bradley. Bradley has a lot of passion and loves/lives his job! He gave us all the information and more, he was really kind and friendly and we all had a lot of fun! He is also a good picture taker ! I wish I could give more than 5 stars and I will definitely book another trip sooner or later!! The Death Valley National Park is breathtaking by the way.
"Day Tour from Las Vegas to Death Valley"
The day trip from Las Vegas to Death Valley is highly recommended! The tour guide explained interesting facts during the trip, the stops were selected and the time to take pictures was very good. Plenty of bottled water provided. Pick-up and drop-off at the hotel. We recommend highly.
Extraordinary!
From start to finish this tour was well organised and communication great. It was lead by a very knowledgeable guid. Stop of points were well chosen showing a variety of landscapes and amazing views. Despite it being hot, we were well supplied with water and had a tasty picnic lunch.
A fantastic day out - would highly recommend it
1 day tour to Death Valley
Had an amazing day from start to finish! Our guide Mike, did a super job - he was very informative and worked hard to provide us with a great tour! Would definitely book with you again! Thanks for an excellent day in the hottest place on earth!!

1 day Death Valley tour
This tour was great, thanks to its amazing guide, Evan. He had impeccable taste in music (Beatles, Sintra, Elvis) and took very good care of us, offering a bottle of water every 30 minutes or so. And believe me, you need it. When we visited DV it was 119 Fahrenheit and the dryness just evaporates everything. Furthermore, Evan tells great stories about the park and its surroundings. I usually find those stories to be boring, but I loved Evan's. I would recommend this trip and hope you get him as your guide!

Impressive Death Valley Day tour from Las Vegas
The guide was on time the comfortable mini bus and our very attentive guide. The visits corresponded perfectly to what was planned.
A great day
Death Valley is a unique place to visit and using this company is a great way to do so.
* Death Valley is quite far away so most of the day will be spent in the minibus. A 15 seater minibus is used, so it will be relatively comfortable. The minibus air con can make it cold so layers are recommended but once you reach Death Valley you'll appreciate the cool air.
* Main stops included are an amazing lookout point of Death Valley, an Oasis town called Furnace Creek, another lookout point, and the actual basin of the valley where the hottest temperature in the world ever was recorded
* It will be hot. In May, temperatures were c30 degrees. If you travel in summer expect c30-50 degrees. In winter, it will be c18-25 degrees
* They provide bottled water all day as well as a nice lunch. Catering for food allergies was appreciated. Mike was a great guide too.
Overall, highly recommended. We actually enjoyed Death Valley more than the Grand Canyon
Best Death Valley tour from Las Vegas! Very nice tour. We had a great guide (Mike), who provided us on the way to Death Valley with lots of interesting information. The time at the stops was always enough.
"Death Valley superb day tour from Las Vegas, highly recommended"
Day trip to Death Valley from Las Vegas. Our group had 10 members, that is manageable. On the 2-hour ride, our guide Mike told us all about Las Vegas and the surrounding area, not only fascinating history, but also a lot about the daily life in this region, overall very entertaining and highly recommended. In Death Valley, the most popular viewpoints were then driven (Dante's View, Zabriskie Point, etc.), offering spectacular views. Ample time for photos and short walks. Lunch is included, within, very good packed lunch. Return trip was about 4pm arriving back in Las Vegas about 6pm, so you still can make something for the evening. Conclusion: for an overview of this huge national park absolutely recommendable! A big compliment to the guide! Any time!
Death Valley tour from Las Vegas.
Everything was great! Fantastic tour! we have not looked back and something you do not do every day ;-)
The tour guide was really great. Highly recommended this tour.
I immensely enjoyed this tour! Coordinating the meetup time and place was a breeze because Bindlestiff emailed me all the details beforehand and even sent an email reminder the day before. Joel, our tour guide, was a fountain of knowledge. He covered a wide range of topics from Science and History to Human Interests and Literature. I learned so much about Death Valley because of his narrative. The vast, majestic landscape was the cherry on top. We had ample time to explore each stop and take lots of pictures. Then, we were able to get back to Las Vegas around 5:30 PM. Enough time to rest a bit before enjoying the night.
My husband and I did this small group day tour through Death Valley, last week and it was a great experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area, which always impresses me when we go on any kind of tour. They always seem to educate their passengers extremely well on whatever the tour is about. Our group consisted of 2 other couples, which was perfect. We seem to like the smaller group option more so than the bigger groups. It feels more personal to us this way.
Our tour started off early in the morning, with the driver picking us up at our hotel, on the strip. They provided with us, Lots of water and a packed lunch. During the tour, we made about 6 or 7 scenic stops within the park. All the locations were unique and amazing in color. The park is absolutely huge and we were only able to see a small fraction of it. The weather was perfect that day...only at some points during the day did it warm up. All in all, this tour made for about a 10 hour day.
Amazingly surprised trip to Death Valley with my daughter. Our guide Jenni is very knowledgeable and gave us so much info not only about Death Valley but Las Vegas too. We had so much fun. Highly recommend this trip - photos doesnt do it justices. It was just AMAZING. Thank you Jenni.
The small group trip to Death Valley was very informing and personal. Couldn't have asked for a better guide than Michael. He was great and accommodated any request.
First time to Las Vegas to celebrate 21st Birthday, booked Death Valley Tour and was lucky enough to be the only ones that day.... private tour! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and tailored the day to us, would definitely book again this year. 5 Stars.
Mike was kind, considerate and insightful (my husband is still hearing "Mike said" and my tour was 9 days ago) as well as showing us things we would not discover on our own. He also delivered my National Park passport book to me at my hotel when I left it in his van which I greatly appreciated. If you will be in Vegas you owe it to yourself to go on a tour with this company. They do 3 and 7 day tours as well and I will definitely take one of those if I ever get a chance.
We booked 4 tours during our trip to Vegas (we made the mistake of only booking one tour with this company, I won't name the other company but they are a rather large company focused on the Grand Canyon.) Our day at Death Valley was breathtaking that alone was worth it, we had a small tour group, and our fantastic tour guide took the time to get to know us all and find out what we really wanted to know about Death Valley. He told us really interesting facts about the whole area both on the drive and when we arrived. If you have a love for history and geography then this is the tour for you. We will be booking another tour when we return to Vegas :)
I took this tour in January and can't say enough good things about it. Our guide Mike was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic! The stops were beautiful and even though there was a schedule to keep to, it never felt too rushed. I took a couple of other tours on my trip from another company, and while they were very good, I would say Mike made this the best by far. It was a bit more expensive than the other trips, but well worth it. Even the boxed lunch, which I was apprehensive of, was quite good. I would have no reservations about doing a trip with them again - I felt we were in very good hands.
This is an amazingly beautiful tour. Very comfortable, plenty of stops and time at each stop.
Our guide was Joel, and he is by far the best tour guide I've ever had on any tour in any country. He is obviously loves Death Valley and has a wealth of interesting History on it, Las Vegas and the surrounding area. He's also right on time, very nice and considerate. You couldn't ask for or find a better guide.
I already planning another trip and more tours. I definitely recommend this tour especially with Joel.
Happy to choose this trip with you. Khriss is amazing. He told us as much as we could care as absorbant sponge.
I think that the route is beautiful at first blink of the day and also the Valley at sunrise.....
Very good lunch. Excellent small group.
I cannot thank Corey (our tour guide/driver) enough for a fun filled and enjoyable 3 day tour of Zion, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley and Grand Canyon. Corey provided us with everything we needed to make us very comfortable. Her passion and knowledge of the areas was second to none! I was really hanging off her every word! Corey went above and beyond to make sure that each person on the tour was happy and enjoyed themselves. I spent a total of 2 weeks in the USA and this was the highlight of my holiday!! I highly recommend - well done!
This was one of the highlights of my visit to the US from the UK, and I did a day trip to Death Valley.
Our driver, John, was very good and gave us lots of information. He was a safe, careful driver.
We stopped at various vantage points to take photos and stopped at Death Valley Junction to have our packed lunches which were very good. I had a vegetarian sandwich and although not terribly imaginative (cheese, lettuce, tomato and cucumber), at least they had had the sense to pack the tomato and cucumber in a separate plastic bag to prevent the bread from becoming totally soggy.
Death Valley is almost beyond description and the first sighting of it is definitely a WOW moment. It is, of course, extremely hot and on the day we visited, it hit 120F. You can't possibly stay outside the van long. We viewed first from Dante's Point and then visited Badwater Basin, the Devil's Golf Course and Artist's Palette. Each location was very different, all equally fascinating and giving very stark views of the raw beauty of nature.
A truly remarkable place and a good company to visit it with. I am happy to recommend.
We had a great trip to the Death Valley. Our driver knew a lot about this place and gave us many informations.
We also had enough time for short strolls, take pictures and for a lunch provided by the travel company
We were only a small group and were lucky enough to get Joel Clarke as our guide. He is so passionate about the desert and its colorful history that he makes you see, feel and taste the desert. He talks a lot but the stories all very interesting, he was like the desert's philosopher. Death Valley is a must see, must experience, in our book. Only regret: I did not give him a big hug when saying goodbye, I was just too overwhelmed. Anne, traveling with Oscar
The tour pickup was on-time by tour guide Micheal. He is very knowledgeable about the area and route to death valley. Micheal is very friendly and answers any question you have about Vegas or Death Valley. Death Valley is an amazing place you will feel if you're on a different planet altogether. Lunch and Water Bottles are also provided which is good to have as there are not many places in death valley where food can be found.
I went on the Death Valley tour last Friday the 28 April and it was absolutely brilliant. Mike our driver and guide was just wonderful. His knowledge was amazing and above all his organization was first class. The whole tour ran smoothly and we had lots of time at the stops in the park. All I can do is just praise tour operator and their sheer professionalism. Sarah was brilliant and very helpful and our lunches were great. Will be booking another tour with you guys when I am back your way!
I was promptly picked up by Khriss, the tour guide for the day! My first impression of him was his professionalism and friendliness! I opted for the VIP tour because there was only 10 of us including Khriss. I'm very glad I did! Our guide provided us with a vast amount of information concerning the history of Death Valley. We never felt rushed and there was plenty of time for pictures! I would not hesitate to recommend Khriss and this company! Well worth it! Thanks for the trip of a lifetime!!
Truly outstanding tour featuring a very knowledgeable guide. Our group bonded very well thanks to the skills of our driver and guide. I strongly reccommend this tour.
We were at Death Valley on one of the few rainy days of the year and it was fantastic! The rain brought out the different colors and contrasts of the landscape like you wouldn't see them on a dry day. Our guide Mike was funny and knowledgeable beyond compare, always joking around with us on the ride. He knew a lot about the valley, Las Vegas and almost every national park in the US from traveling around and hiking the landscape. You could really tell that he loved the park and to share his vast knowledge about it. If he didn't know the answer to a question, he found it out at the next stop and surprised us with cool facts that were even new to him afterwards. He also made sure to change the itinerary and visit Dante's View first, because of the danger that the road might be closed due to flash floods later. As we found out at our next stop, the road was closed shortly after we left and we wouldn't have made it there otherwise. Absolutely recommendable tour, even on rainy days!
Just finished the Death Valley Tour with our tour guide Mike.... fantabulous!!!! Mike is an awesome tour guide, he really made this tour very special! He has a great personality, was very well informed, definitely knew his stuff, is excellent, that's what makes it memorable! We all had fun, took us to awesome places to take pics, and have us excellent tips. Thanks Mike for such an awesome time!!
"Mike brought 11 friends and I on a day tour today of Death Valley and all I can say is that it greatly exceeded my expectations. He thoroughly impressed us with his knowledge of the local culture, geography and history. He also knew of which areas to stop to take excellent photo opportunities. Mike is clearly a tour guide that exudes passion for his job and was very friendly and accommodate our many needs!
Thanks for a great experience and I highly recommend this experience for individuals who might want a little more variety than what the strip provides.
Went for a day tour to Death Valley on 29 Jan and all of us had a great time! Mike was our guide and he is amazing! He is very well-informed and provided us with great information on places to go to in Vegas. Highly recommended! Great way to end my holiday. Thanks Mike!
Tour with a small group, very professionally guided with a real personal touch. More than enough time to see all the highlights such as Dante's peak, Zabriskie Point, Badwater Basin, Devil's golf course and more.
Superb one day trip. Our guide Joel was the best with some great stories and knowledge - breathtaking scenery and in many ways more impressive than the Grand Canyon
This is a tour that gives you a sample of the several landmark views of Death Valley (1-day trip) and Grand Canyon / Monument Valley / Zion (3-day trip). Since the parks are huge, you spend a lot of time going from one place to the other using their van. The van was comfortable and spacious. The tour guides are very friendly and knowledgeable about history and other aspects of the places we visited. This is a great trip to know the key landmarks and views from the park.
We wanted to write a note in reference to our tour guide Mike on Dec 30th. We so appreciated his pleasant disposition and cheerful manner. He was both informative and infused the right amount of humor at the same time. We will highly recommend this tour to others based on our experience with Mike.
We were lucky enough to find this tour for our day trip to Death Valley from Las Vegas. The arrangements were easy and they were spot on time to pick us up at our hotel. Our guide, Mike was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He made the drive (just under 2 hours) very enjoyable. There is a stop on the way out at Pahrump for bathrooms and coffee so don't be put off by the distance. Also, the scenery on the way to Death Valley was really lovely the day we went. We started our experiences in Death Valley at Dantes View which is over 5,000 ft. above sea level. It was a little chilly so make sure you take a fleece or something warm along that you can later peel off when you go down to the valley floor. The views from up here are spectacular and you get some idea of the size of Death Valley so it's a great place to start. Also, we were lucky enough to see a Chukar (a partridge type bird) digging in some stones for insects to eat and I got some pictures of it as well. We visited all the other main tourist sites like Zabriskie's Point, Badwater Basin, and Artist's drive. In the middle we had a brief rain storm (Who says it doesn't rain in the desert??) and lunch at the Furnace Creek resort area. The box lunch is hearty...a large sandwich, chips, fruit, cookie, etc. And on the way out of the park we saw several coyotes near enough to the road to get some good pictures of them. All in all, it was a great day, full of geological facts and wonderful scenery. I would very much like to go again. I highly recommend this tour
Great experience :
- booked the trip the day before and everything works well
- guide on time for pickup, "timing under control"
- guide very motivated, funny and knowledgeable (btw there are 58 national parks in the US according to google; this was a discussion topic during the trip and one client was very "firm" claiming that there are 48 national parks ;-)
- nice places to visit
- impressive landscape and geology
In summary, a great experience
I highly recommend it
Death Valley is a national park must have the one really visited. Our guide Jennie was very knowledgeable and told many interesting things about Vegas in general and Death Valley in particular - among others as Death Valley got its name. Even if informed in advance about this place so the reality is then still more impressive and spectacular than we imagined it. Zabriskie Point and Devil's Golf Course are good places for stunning photos. Pick up from hotel has also worked wonderfully. If someone wants to experience how it fills beyond the 40 degree mark, should a tour from June - Book August. :-) I can present this tour to anyone warmly recommend.
Scheduling and confirmation were smooth. Personalized pick up service at our hotel. Sara was a great guide, extremely knowledgeable interesting and informative. Roomy and comfy well air conditioned van. Small group tour size if about 8, was just right. Unlimited free water, a necessity at death valley in July! A very nice pre-ordered boxed lunch. Sara pushed water on us all! Loved the history and facts on the region. Death Valley was surreal, other -worldly and an amazing adventure. Not to be missed! Highly recommend the professionalism and service!
Very happy with our 1-day tour to Death Valley. We visited the most important spots and got a lot of interesting details and explanations from our guide. The food was reasonable and there was plenty of cold water, which is essential at Death Valley. Even umbrellas were available!
My boyfriend and I took the Death Valley national park tour as well as the 3 day national parks tour. Both were incredible. Friendly knowledgeable tour guides provided a wealth of knowledge throughout both tours. Pre tour communication was excellent and speedy. I can't recommend this company highly enough.
We came to Vegas as a stopover on the way to Hawaii and had missed Death Valley last time we did a USA road trip so we really wanted a great experience as this was the main reason we'd stopped in Vegas. This was an absolutely brilliant tour. From the communication and confirmations days before, to the ease of being picked up in our hotel (The Mirage), this was a truly excellently organised trip. Our guide Sarah was so lovely and informative and a great person to feel reassured by as this trip is quite extreme in terms of risk of dehydration! The van was great - air conditioned and brand new; lunch was provided (and vegetarian friendly!); the stops were breathtaking and like nowhere else on earth and the whole trip was just a fantastic break from the craziness of Vegas. Well worth doing!
was going to drive to Death Valley (Death Valley), but decided to participate in this trip, glad to make this choice. 4 people plus a guideline drive a comfortable car , hotel shuttle quickly. Jenny knowledgeable guides , encyclopedic knowledge . Death Valley flowers , as far as I know this scene only once in 10 years . Mountains and plains of wild flowers cover the mountains like a blanket . Unlimited bottled water supplied by Jenny, Lunch is also very good . have a good time,...
Amazing tour. Jennie our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative during our drive to Death Valley. We stopped as all the major points of interest and had plenty times for photos and were not rushed throughout the day. A fresh packed lunch was provided and any amount of water
fantastic day and beautiful scenery!
Firstly, our tour guide Khriss Urban was great. He made the day trip to Death Valley a very informative and interesting day. His knowledge of Vegas,Pahrump and Death Valley was awesome. He made the trip so interesting and was always making sure we were all well hydrated due to the extreme heat we encountered. At every stop we made on the tour we always had time to take plenty of photos and Khriss was there if we ever had any questions, and he always knew the answers
This excursion was incredible and I would enthusiastically recommend it. The tour guide Justin was a geologist and very knowledgeable about the area and its natural history. The desert and the park itself were magnificent. It was the highlight of my recent trip to Vegas. It's a day trip that lasts roughly 8 A.M.-6 P.M.
I was going to drive to Death Valley while visiting Las Vegas but decided to take this day tour instead. I was very pleased with my choice. We had a small group of 4 plus the guide and rode in a very comfortable van. The hotel pick up and drop off times were prompt. The guide, Jenny, was very informative. She was a huge wealth of information. Death Valley was in the middle of a super bloom which I understand only happens every 10 years or so. We got to see the blanket of wildflowers as a result. Jenny provided unlimited bottled water and the lunch provided was very good. I was very pleased with this tour and highly recommend it.
I booked the Death Valley One Day Tour for my cousin (once removed) visiting from Japan. Although it took a while to get connected on the phone to confirm the availability (I got voice message many times), once I'm connected on the phone it was nice and easy to book. Most importantly, my cousin was impressed with their tour and said that was the best day of his stay in the U.S. He said tour was great due to the amazing tour guide and his/her navigation skill. He also said it was way better than Grand Canyon Tour he took with another company and even recommended me to take the tour with this company. was happy to know that the company took great care of my relative who was coming far away. I will look forward for more business in the future.
We booked the Death Valley trip on our recent visit to Las Vegas. Pickup was prompt, and our guide, Justin, was able to keep up a very interesting commentary thru the trip. It's about a two hour drive to the park, with a stop in Pahrump for drinks and such. Lunch is included at the Furnace Creek Resort. We made several stops during the tour thru the Valley, including Zabriskie Point and Devil's Golf Course. Overall, a really good tour. Great way to spend a day outside of Vegas and see something almost unworldly.
Death Valley was a dream trip come true. Tour guide and driver, Jenny, made sure we were picked up on time and ensured our comforts a long the tour. We saw amazing sites with plenty of time to get out and experience them close up. Lots of insight into the area. She knew locations that would ensure great views. I would highly recommend this tour.
The Death Valley Tour with Jennie Dufour was an eye-opening experience. Our guide Jennie shared her extensive knowledge about the area's history and geology, which made the tour even more insightful and inspiring than we had expected. It was also very well-organised from a logistics perspective. We would have stayed and go on more tours with this tour operator and Jennie, but we had to go home... We highly-recommend this tour to everybody.
Jennie our tour guide was just AWESOME! Me and my 2 friends really enjoyed the Death Valley and felt so looked after by Jennie who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable
Yesterday my husband and I went on the day tour of Death Valley. All I can say is awesome!!! Our tour guide, Michael, was not only extremely knowledgeable, he was very personable and easy and fun to be with. Great tour, I highly recommend it, especially if Michael is your guide!!!
I loved this outing. The mini bus was immaculate, the driver/guide Mike was perfect - you can tell he loves what he does and knows everything about everything. The other travelers were fun, the sandwich lunch surprisingly very good, and Death Valley was spectacular. It was the perfect day trip and I was impressed enough that I will head back to do the 3 day parks trip. This outfit is top notch!
This was expected to be a highlight of our trip to Las Vegas and it sure was! Pick-up was punctual froma local hotel. The drive in the mini-bus was comfortable. We had pit-stops for refreshments and restrooms. The packed lunch was very good. Our tour guide and driver was outstanding- friendly, knowledgeable and humerous. One of the best guides we have ever had over the years (and I am well traveled). The sights on this trip are beyond description. This is one of those rare places on this planet where you are held in total awe at the sights before you. How anyone can visit Las Vegas and not take time to see the Valley is beyond me. The tour company made the day a trip i shall never forget and if I ever return yo the area I will be sure to use them again for other tours. 10/10 guys!
Peter was a terrific tour guide. He clearly enjoyed leaning new information and sharing his knowledge with visitors. He was extremely patient in letting the 4 of us explore drop-off sites at our own pace. Thanks to Peter, I have a new appreciation for red, green, and yellow rock strata, gigantic salty underground aquifers, and geologic time.
I did two tours with this tour company - the 3 day national parks (camping option) and the ghost towns day trips. Jen Barnes was the tour guide for both and she is incredible - friendly, knowledgeable and super organized! Both trips pack in a lot so you'll be exhausted but it's well worth it. Amazing how much we manage to see given the limited time. I'd highly recommend both tours and will use this company again. Best tour operator I've ever used, hands down. Thanks Jen and the tour company! :-)
This was an outstanding trip. Jen, our tour guide, kept us all entertained with stories all day. The scenery on this tour is awesome and I highly recommend this trip.
I took the Death Valley National Park day trip. Jennie our guide was great, very knowledgeable about the history of Las Vegas as well as the history of Death Valley. We got to see several spots with plenty of time to look about and take pictures. I would recommend this tour and company for a great time, great guide, and great value!
This tour is a must see. Absolutely amazing and stunning. Still blown away by the beauty of Death Valley. Our tour guide, Kris, was so passionate and knowledgeable. He made the tour stunningly exciting. Xxx
It was great! We had a few stops in Death Valley. English is not my native language, but Chris speaks very clear. He talked about a lot of interesting things. Highly recommended!
Chris, the tour guide was awesome. He always pointed out the important spots and told us a lot of information about every single stop. It is a really personalized experence; just 4 of us in total. The tour included an exquisite vegetarian sandwich.
