Hi there, do you think gym/sport shoes will be fine for the hikes on the tour? I might need to buy a sleeping bag? How much would it cost bought locally with you or is there an option to rent it? For the last day, are all of the optional tours (tour to Desert View, ranger tour) included in the price? Thanks, Lina

Hi there, I've got a few questions: Thinking about what shoes to bring, do you think sneakers/gym shoes/sport shoes will be fine for all the hikes? How much is the sleeping bag bought locally with the tour? Is there an option to rent it? On the last day of the tour, are all of the activities you can choose from on the Grand Canyon included (tour to Desert View, Ranger Tours)? Thanks a lot in advance!
by Lina on 2016-09-07
Good morning, Regular sneakers will be sufficient for hiking. We recommend for you to take your own sleeping bag on this tour if possible. If you do not have a sleeping bag you can purchase one on the way to the camp site, your guide will assist you and take you to were you can purchase one (Prices for sleeping bag is around $45). You are free to choose to either hike on your own into the canyon or the rim on the last day.

The Super Southwest Tour with Bindlestiff was greater than I even imagined. We altered our route to include all Mighty 5 National Parks of Utah as well as Goblin Valley State Park before heading down to Nevada to explore the Grand Canyon. The helicopter ride from rim to rim was exceptional! I especially enjoyed the tour through Antelope Canyon. Thanks, Bindlestiff Team, for taking care of all the details!
I recommend this tour!

Fantastic tour, everything was pretty much perfect. Adrian was a great guide, and handled the snow storm, which might have affected things, very well. In the end although really cold at times, was beautfiul to see the contrast of ice and snow on the red rocks. Definitely would consider doing another tour with this company in the future.
I recommend this tour!

Our Southwestern tour was amazing! The scenery was just like you see in magazines or travel brochures. Joe, our tour guide, was the best. He went above and beyond what was expected to make sure everyone had the best experience possible. Can’t wait for the next adventure to Yellowstone.
I recommend this tour!
