Day 1: Los Angeles - Las Vegas(270 miles)

Today, we will journey through the San Bernardino Valley and the Mojave Desert on our way to Las Vegas. Upon our arrival in the afternoon, we will have free time to spend at our own leisure. Later, there will be an optional night tour. Alternatively, guests can see a best-selling Vegas show.

Day 2: Las Vegas - Valley of Fire - Las Vegas(98 miles)

In the morning, we will head north and visit the Valley of Fire. Let's hike and explore this unbelievable landscape together. As we delve deeper into the valley we will also hike the White Domes Trail and into the mystical red colored slot canyon with its walls punctured by the rain waters of time. We will continue to visit a unique rock formation known as Elephant rock natural arch before departing the valley. On the way back, we'll make a stop in old town Las Vegas - the birth place and original gambling district of Las Vegas. It remains the beating heart of the famous gaming and resorts mecca in old western style.

    Fire Wave

    Surrounded by yellow, orange, pink, and red rocks of amazing shapes, the Fire Wave folds on itself in picturesque, taffy-like curves. It's a wonderland for the photographer and rock hopper.

Day 3: Las Vegas - Grand Canyon or Antelope Canyon - Las Vegas(661 miles)

Today, guests can visit either the South Rim or the West Rim of the Grand Canyon or Antelope Canyon.

Option 1: Grand Canyon South Rim
We will depart from Las Vegas in the morning and head towards the Grand Canyon. At the Mather point, we will contemplate with awe the stunning panoramic view of the Canyon. At the Bright Angel point, you will be impressed by the sheer canyon wall. We will also visit the famous Hopi House. On the way back, we will drive through Seligman. Known as the Mother Road, we'll "get our kicks on Route 66". We will return to Las Vegas in the evening. Overnight stay in Las Vegas.

Option 2: Grand Canyon West Rim
Depart from Las Vegas in the morning and we will travel to Grand Canyon West. We will enter the Hualapai Indian Reservation to reach Grand Canyon West. You may walk on the Skywalk. You may also elect to take a helicopter flight into the Grand Canyon and cruise along the Colorado River aboard optional pontoon boat. Overnight stay in Las Vegas.

Option 3: Upper Antelope Canyon + Horseshoe Bend or Option 4: Lower Antelope Canyon + Horseshoe Bend
Experience an unforgettable journey to Antelope Canyon, and take in its beauty as you walk in. The Canyon walls photographed during the mid-morning sun creates a myriad of colors from the natural light shooting through the canyon. Afterwards we will visit Horseshoe bend. After the visit, we will return to Las Vegas.

    This building was constructed in 1905 in the style of older Hopi Indian architecture. Its purpose is to serve as a marketplace for Native American crafts for visitors to the Grand Canyon Village. It also houses a Hopi museum.

    Skywalk Glass Bridge

    Skywalk Glass Bridge
    This horseshoe-shaped see-through glass walkway extends out over the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. The bridge will be able to sustain winds in excess of 100 miles per hour from 8 directions, as well as an 8.0-magnitude earthquake.

Day 4: Las Vegas - Los Angeles(270 miles)

We will leave Las Vegas in the morning and drive back to Los Angeles. We'll stop by the Hollywood landmarks, take a walk along Hollywood Boulevard, and visit the Chinese Theater and the Kodak Theater complex.
Guests may also choose to leave from Las Vegas or be bussed to San Francisco for an extra fee. Please see "Departure and Return Details" for pickup and dropoff information.

    • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

  • All meals and drinks during the trip, although eating arrangements will be made by the tour guide.
  • A mandatory service fee: A total of $8/day/person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $8 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $32.
  • Personal room fees such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/ mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

Confirmation

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you have received the confirmation.

Redemption

  • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. No change in pick-up location is allowed within 2 business days from departure. We are not responsible for the missed tour due to unconfirmed change in pick up locations.
  • Cancellations and Alteration fees
    Regardless of the reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours through webmail at Contact Us. Your refund request will be answered and processed promptly. If you do not receive any reply within 2 business days, that means your request is not received successfully; thus, the tour status remains "confirmed". Please contact us immediately at 617.500.7002.
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    Cancellations received 31 days or more prior to departure date will incur a penalty of $100 per person.
    Cancellations received within 22-30 days of departure date will incur a penalty of $300 per person.
    Cancellations received within 21 days of departure date or no show will incur a penalty of 100% of total purchase amount.
    We cannot grant refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strive to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods, duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements (e.g. minimum number of passengers) or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or a similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
  • We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

Additional Note

  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • Luggage and infant car seat Policy: Maximum two luggage(one full size+one carry on). We will charge $25 for every extra suitcase.
    Each passenger is permitted one piece of luggage to be stored underneath the bus and one additional smaller handheld piece of luggage can be taken on board. Please note that strollers or wheelchairs will account as the one piece of luggage delegated to the passenger. Passenger can bring their own car seat or infant seat.
  • Buy 2 get 3rd discounted promotion: Passengers must pay $50 per person if not take the Grand Canyon tour.
  • No smoking is allowed in the hotel rooms at any time. Failure to comply will result in a $300.00 fine payable immediately and charged by Hotel.
  • Hotel rooms are typically designed and equipped for two travelers. They usually feature a queen- or king-sized bed or two double beds, which are meant to provide adequate comfort for two travelers. And if your tour overnight at Los Angeles or Las Vegas, please book it at least 3 days before departure, or you'll pay the addtional resort fees and have no group discount.
  • During September until November, Some of the biggest conventions (Apple Developers Conference, DreamForce, and Oracle OpenWorld) are held at the Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco. The price of check-in dates in Bay Area on September 11-13, September30, October 1-5 and November 4-9 will be higher than the normal days. Please note surcharge may apply, we will notify you of any price change and await your acceptance.
