Welcome to Europamundo C. Viajes Tour!. Arrival, private airport pickup. Today you will join your guide for Reykjavik sightseeing city tour. See Harpa concert hall and opera house, the beautiful landmark of Reykjavik Hallgrimskirkja church named by the fames poet Hallgrimur Petursson. Hallgrimskirkja is a Lutheran (Church of Iceland) parish church in Reykjavik, Iceland, and at 74.5 metres (244 ft) tall, it is the largest church in Iceland and among the tallest structures in the country. Known for its distinctively curved spire and side wings, it has been described as having become an important symbol for Iceland's national identity since its completion in 1986. You will visit Bessaastadir the residency of the president of Iceland and the famous Sun Voyager sculpture by the ocean. Drive through downtown to see the Althing Parliament, the office of the prime minister of Iceland and the historic Hofdi House, where the two leaders Ronald Reagan and Michael Gorbatjov met where they ended to cold war. Relax in the new and beautiful spa Sky Lagoon where you will relax before going on a hunt for the northern lights. After that you'll have time ashore to get yourself ready for the Northern Lights frenzy. Northern lights in winter (August 25 - April 25). Iceland is one of the premier destinations for viewing the Northern Lights due to its unique geographical location and minimal light pollution. If weather is unfavourable, we will do northern lights another evening. Accommodation. **Note**: all the services and visits are possible if early arrival**.

Enjoy the well known Golden Circle tour. Strokkur and the Geyser area will be visited. Near Geysir is the beautiful Gullfoss Waterfall. Enjoy the view from above and walk down the path to walk close to the powerful waterfall. Visit Thingvellir National Park is characterised by tectonic rift valley and marks the rifting of the Eurasian and North American plates from each other. In 930 the Icelandic Parliament, the first democracy in the world, was established at Thingvellir. Thingvellir became World Heritage Site in 2004. Enjoy wonderful Efstidalur Ice cream farm, where you get a chance to taste our organic and home-made ice cream. Made from our own cows, the ice cream is as fresh as it gets. Breakfast at hotel. Today drive the south coast of Iceland. Seljalandsfoss is 60 m high and it is possible to walk behind it, and get a unique view from behind. Visit hidden gem cave waterfall Kvernufoss. Skogafoss is on of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. Eyjafjallajokull is now famous for it's 2010 volcanic eruption that disrupted air traffic in Europe. From Dyrholaey is a breathtaking view over the black sand beaches (if accessible). Reynisfjara black beach was, in 1991, ranked as one of the ten most beautiful non-tropical beaches in the world. On the way see Solheimajokull, an outlet glacier, flowing out of the ice cap Myrdalsjokull. Northern lights opportunity from your hotel. Accommodation

Breakfast at hotel. This day will be spent in the National Park of Vatnajokull, with Skaftafell National Park situated near the largest glacier in Iceland and Europe, Vatnajokull. Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon is a beautiful lagoon in front of a calving glacier. Enjoy amazing view of floating icebergs in the lagoon and walk between them at the black beach, which is sometime referred to the Diamond Beach. Northern lights opportunity from your hotel.

    10% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 30 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    50% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 15 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    75% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 7 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    Absolutely NO refund on all cancellations or postponements within 1 day prior to departure (not including departure date).
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour..
